Thanks! Any character is viable with good enough artifacts, sadly Keqing is one of those that needs massive investment to shine. But she's my OG genshin waifu so I try to use her whenever I can ? .

Maintenance for the 2.7 update starts on the 31st of May and will last for about 5 hours. The duration of version 2.7 is expected to last 6 weeks, with version 2.8 scheduled to launch on the 13th of May. Also worth noting that the maintenance for the Serenitea Pot will finally come to an end when 2.7 releases. ?

That good, huh? I have her, but I haven't used her much in combat yet since I still need to ascend her to the max. That and I mainly use Ganyu atm, and I'm not sure how good it would be to have another ice character in the team. If she's as good at soloing as you say she is though, it sounds like that doesn't even matter all that much. ?

Have played since launch but my characters are not the highest level they could be because I have spent vast majority of my resin on artifacts instead of boss mats which is probably not the smartest idea. Usually it takes me months to get a good set for a character but I got really lucky with Yelan's set and got 3 really good pieces for her so now I just need to get lucky with my pulls, surely I won't lose the 50/50 to Diluc or Qiqi. ?

At the same time, Hosseini the Sumeru scholar has found some dark mud-like substance pouring out of the caverns and mines in The Chasm recently. In “A Muddy Bizarre Adventure” event, players can help clear the mud, weaken the monsters, and complete various tasks such as defeating monsters within time limits or escorting a hot air balloon with the Lumenstone Adjuvant and special installations called the Pursina’s Spikes.

 

Yelan and Kuki Shinobu, who accompany the Traveler in The Chasm, will join the game as playable characters with their own Story Quest and Hangout Event. The new five-star character Yelan is a mysterious figure with many faces and identities, which includes the owner of the Yanshang Teahouse and the special intelligence officer of Liyue. Wielding the bow as her weapon, Yelan is a Hydro DPS character that combines rapid attacks with agile mobility. The new four-star character, Kuki Shinobu, is the surprisingly reliable and capable deputy leader of the Arataki Gang. Shinobu is a support character who wields a sword and manipulates the Electro element. She can consume her own HP to heal other party members while dealing periodical Electro DMG to nearby opponents. Yelan and Xiao will be available in the Event Wishes, followed by Arataki Itto with his right-hand person Kuki Shinobu.

 

In Inazuma, the fun goes on after the Irodori Festival. The Arataki Gang is preparing a grand and joyful drumalong festival and a new season of rhythm game to celebrate Shinobu’s graduation from law studies in Liyue. In another event “Core of the Apparatus,” players can help a toy merchant from Fontaine to create robotic models, and receive robotic furnishings to be placed in the Serenitea Pot!

Funny, because I've been doing pretty much the opposite, focusing way more on bosses and the domains to level up skills than I have getting artifacts. I only have like 2 artifacts I'm truly happy with though, so I definitely need to work at that. I've been trying to get a good set for Hu Tao for about the past week, but no luck so far. I can see why people say artifact farming is such a pain in the ass. ? Cool that you got lucky with Yelan's set though. I hope you manage to get her! ?

Mine I think is still not enough for the musk reef? havent tested deeper than depth 7. My highest damage in my 1steam is 28k[Yanfei], buffed by 2 different elements, she even surpassed my main? and my 2nd team have 22k[Xiao] buffed by single element.

While I can't see the weapons or the artifacts, you should be able to get to 11 floor easily. Try to invest more in Mona. Her ult is great damage boost and she has great synergy in freeze team with Ganyu.

 

Recently tried an abyss for fun and surprisingly managed an 36 Star clear. I actually prefer current line up to various buffed up Magu Kinky.

Yanfei have max proper set of artifact plus 4 star critical damage weapon not max while the Traveler have higher upgrade but max improper set of artifact plus physical damage weapon not max. Now Im working for proper set of artifacts for Ganyu as well as for artifacts for Mona. Im trying to balance and planning each team have 3 supports and 1 heavy hitter, not support as healer lol?

I prefer to play games with constant upkeep like this on PC so I don't have to turn on my console whenever I want to burn resin. I ended up starting this once I heard about the compatibility between PS4/5. At this point, I have every achievement that corresponds to a trophy on PSN. Not much to do in-game currently. Mostly log on to do dailies, use up resin, and claim teapot points while waiting on 2.7.

Been unlucky with the banner characters. 3/4 failed 50/50s and always get the 5* around 70+ pulls. Standard banner has been kind to me recently though, giving me three 5* within the last 40 pulls, Only have Skyward Pride and just recently, Skyward Blade for 5* weapons. Out of all the lvl 80+s I've got, I've used everyone but Beidou and Sara in the Abyss at some point. I'll be going for Yelan once 2.7 drops (guaranteed at 60+ pity) and whenever Kazuha reruns, then save up for whenever Raiden and Yae come back.

You should really Grow up your Ayaka Wolf  

She is indeed one of the best Unti in the game, probably the best Ice one if you don't make Melt Ganyu. Plus you should always have more than 1 element character levelled for the Resonance, i often se Ayaka+Ganyu or Eula+Ganyu and so On for that nice + 15% Crit rate by the resonance.

Yeah i expected to already exist such a thread for a game out since 1 and half year but never checked, guess not, glad now it exiest!

I'll post later my team and stuff, i guess i'm like the only Mini whale here  (I Spent quite a bit so far sinc ei loved the Inazuma Character, for Sumeru with more male characters and an Egyptian Desing that i'm not a fan of in any game, i should pass more)

 

As for the Update 2.7, happy we are getting it in 10 days, i don't really wait for much, The Story looks freakin AWESOME so i'm curious abvout that, especially since i loved the Chams A LOT more than i epxected, i usually hate mines and caves in game but it's really open and well done. Aside fromt hat the fighting event looks cool and i Want Yelan 100% if i can her weapon too. For the Rest, Eh, Xiao not really interested before not now, Itto i already have and don't care much for C1 so i'll pass which i guess it's better if they put Yoimiya, Klee and Kazuha all togheter in the 2.8 wich are 3 characters i want since i started playing in 2.0 (Well Yoimiya i regret a lot to have miss her in 2.2.....)

Oh yeah, that's understandable. I downloaded the game on my phone a couple of months back thinking I'd play on that version to use up resin without having to turn on the console and TV, but then it occurred to me that I would have to keep that version of the game up to date as well which is kind of a pain with my internet speed. ? That and touch screen controls are so foreign to me that I was playing much worse. PC would probably be the better option, although mine is getting on in years now, so it'll probably run like ass to how it does on PS5. ?

 

Nice work with the achievements. I'm surprised you haven't booted the game up on PS4/PS5 yet, if only to pop the trophies. You've earned them after all.

 

Ah, that's too bad about the character banners, but at least you got some insane luck on the standard banner. ? And yeah, it always sucks when you lose a 50/50. That happened to me when I was trying to get Raiden. I've been pretty lucky with the other ones though.

Honestly, I'm not familiar with what the Melt Ganyu build even is. I guess I've been using her wrong this whole time. ? I'll try and find a video that explains it later. This is also the first time I'm hearing about resonance. As you can see, I'm still a noob when it comes to this game. ? Looking it up, I guess it means you get some bonuses by having 2 of the same element in your party. My main party has 2 pyro's, so I guess I've been getting a 25% boost to attack damage without me realizing. ? But alright, I'll make sure I work on getting Ayaka up to snuff.

I know at least one other person has mentioned whaling in here, so you're not alone. ? I mentioned it before, but I spent quite a bit trying to get Hu Tao. I've mostly held back since then, although I was quite tempted to spend money getting Raiden. Still bummed I didn't get her, especially since I'm sure it'll take a while for another rerun to come around. ?

Yeah, I was expecting a longer delay tbh. It's nice that 2.7 is dropping so soon, although I wouldn't have minded getting those free primogems as compensation for a couple more weeks. ? The story does look pretty intriguing, and yeah, I'm surprised how much I ended up liking The Chasm. It was way more interesting to explore than it sounds on paper. Yelan moved so gracefully in the 2.7 trailer. ? I love her design, I'm just not sure I need another good bow character when I already have Ganyu. ? I've skipped all of the male character banners so far. ? I guess Kazuha is supposed to be a really good support character, so maybe I should try and get him at least. If it's a choice between him and Yoimiya though, I'm going for her. Next to Raiden, she's probably the character I want the most.

I Mean it's not really that strange  Melt Ganyu is Ganyu with 4 Wanderer Piece and a Pyro Unit, the Pyro Give Pyro to the Enemy and Ganyu with a charged shot gives Melt with the set icnreasing the Charged shot damage. While Freeze ganyu pretty explanatory, you want to have a Hydro Unit, Freeze with Ganyu then and so on, for this you need a 4 Piece Cryo set which being for me a Massive pain in the booty the get good pieces from for now i'll pass, it took me already weeks to build my Ayaka there! 

Really? It's something i think they tell you in-game but maybe i'm wrong  Anyway you can check in-game too i don't remember the button, but in the character or party Section it was, and see the different effects.

 

Basically: 2 Pyro=+25% Atk boost - 2 Hydro=+25% healing bonus - 2 Geo=When a chacarter is shielded reduces the enemy Elemental resistance by 15%, maybe it strenght the shield too i don't remember, 2 Cryo= Increases Crit rate of the Cryo Characters by 15% when an enemy is frozen if i remember, Elecytro= Increases ER recovery something like that and Anemo i don't know, never did it No Resonance increases phys and elemental defense by 15%; anyway in-game you ahve the right wording and stuff better than i can write.

You won't regret it, i mena my Ayaka Makes 17-19k With R2 and 9-10K per tick with her burst, pretty good no?  

 

Well surely i hoep to net be the only little Whale  I Spent on quite a lot of character honetsly, as said i loved Inazuma and all the characters that went out, i only missed Yoimiya because i super undervalued her, Kazuha because, well i started playing just 2-3 days it's banner ended and Ayato because i didn't really cared, i had to get Weapons for my girls  What a pity for Raiden being so Amazing, i hope you have better luck with Sumeru then! In sumeru i'll surely spend waaaaay less, the only character i really want it's Kusunali (Dendro Archon) and that's it.

 

Well it lasted as i epxected after all it was for 2-3 weeks the Super Lockdown in china! Well at least you'll get like 700 more before the update  Indeed, i expected it to be kind aboring with the stting and stuff but it was amazing instead i did it all in 1 day at the end, i'm curious to see what will happen with the yaksha and Yelan. I Mean do you have a character that applies hydro properly? If not go for her, don't check the weapons it's a Mistake, i mean i play with 2 Catalyst most of the times in my main team as you can see in the Scrrenshots  I want her a lot, i love her desing and voice and her gameplay. Oh Kazuha you should totally go for it, it's the best support unit in the game, plus him and Venti are the only one that really group up the enemy, you need at least 1 of them in some occasion. Sadly it's probably together with Yoimiya yep, 2.8 should Be Kazuha, yoimiya and Klee + Heizou the only characters missing a Rerun, ii want them all plus Yoimiya weapon so it's gonna be either a Lucky banner or my last big spending on the game!

And in the End my Usual Main team, the On Field DPS can Change between Ayaka, Hu tao and Ganyu usually, or Eula if i need Claymore like against the Geo Bosses. Yae at times changes too for Zhongli if needed, Venti if i really wanna end fights in 2 Secs  (Jean and Kequing are work in Progress due to artifact Rng)

 

Raiden Changes at time. rearely, like when i do an Electro Domain and so i can't use Electro units. Kokomi NEVER changes. It's there since the D1 release it will stay there

AH @Undead Wolf i tell you because maybe you don't know how the pity works, or maybe you do. If you find a Non banner 5 star character like you get Mona for example then the next one is 100% guaranteed to be a Banner character so for example if you wanna try on Yelan get unlucky and get a Mona you can save for Yoimiya/Kazuha and then you 100% get it as the 5 Star of that banner.

Oh, that's all there is to it? It didn't even occur to me that there was an elemental reaction between pyro and cryo. If anything, I thought they would cancel each other out. Makes sense why my damage with Ganyu randomly spiked sometimes then lol. I'll try and take advantage of that more often then. And I'm sure it probably does tell you, it's just that when I'm playing Genshin, most of the time, I'm only half paying attention to it. ?

Alright, I think I get it now. I'll probably replace Xingqiu with Ayaka when she's ready since I'm not getting much use out of him atm. I guess having 2 pyros and 2 cryos in the same party leaves me kind of limited though, even if I do get some nice bonuses out of it.

Yeah, the Inazuma characters are great. I wasn't aware of who Kusanali was, but looking it up, she does look pretty cute. ?

 

I don't know about "properly". I've been using Xingqiu in my team recently, but only for his elemental skill and elemental burst, and then I swap him out. I used to have Mona on my team, but I just couldn't wrap my head around how I was supposed to use her. I guess she's good at applying hydro though. And yeah, Kazuha would be good in a support role, although I already have Bennet at C6 who heals and buffs damage. Some crowd control would be nice though since I'm severely lacking on that department atm.

And in the End my Usual Main team, the On Field DPS can Change between Ayaka, Hu tao and Ganyu usually, or Eula if i need Claymore like against the Geo Bosses. Yae at times changes too for Zhongli if needed, Venti if i really wanna end fights in 2 Secs  (Jean and Kequing are work in Progress due to artifact Rng)

 

Raiden Changes at time. rearely, like when i do an Electro Domain and so i can't use Electro units. Kokomi NEVER changes. It's there since the D1 release it will stay there

AH @Undead Wolf i tell you because maybe you don't know how the pity works, or maybe you do. If you find a Non banner 5 star character like you get Mona for example then the next one is 100% guaranteed to be a Banner character so for example if you wanna try on Yelan get unlucky and get a Mona you can save for Yoimiya/Kazuha and then you 100% get it as the 5 Star of that banner. 

 

That's a mighty fine collection you've got there! ? I see you swap out the characters in your main team a lot. I'm still at the point right now where I'm just using the same characters for pretty much everything (unless I'm forced to use a specific element for a puzzle or whatever), but I know that's not very efficient. ?

I don't know about "properly". I've been using Xingqiu in my team recently, but only for his elemental skill and elemental burst, and then I swap him out. I used to have Mona on my team, but I just couldn't wrap my head around how I was supposed to use her. I guess she's good at applying hydro though. And yeah, Kazuha would be good in a support role, although I already have Bennet at C6 who heals and buffs damage. Some crowd control would be nice though since I'm severely lacking on that department atm.

Yep, Simple as that, Genshin it's not that hard just has a lot to it  And No, no Elements cancel, they all react. Pyro and Cryo do Melt (Or Reverse Melt), Pyro and Hydro do Vaporize (Or Reverse Vaporize) and both Give 1.5X boost to the Reaction attack; Pyro and Electro do Overload which is an explosion adn Extra damage from it, Hydro end Electro is Electro charge which is Extra Electro damage on the enemies spreading if they are grouped up. Anemo Swirls the Elements meaning it absorbs it and deal extra damage and allowing reaction, Geo just gives you Shield for the Elemental Combo so Pyro + Geo= Pyro Shield and so on.

AH And Hydro + Cryo Makes Frozen, freezing the Enemy in place Which is always great (Doesn't work on bosse still its' effect is triggerable for the Artefact set)

Dendro just had Burning with Pyro, should have more Reactions but i won't say it now it's pointless not having it as a playable element  

 

Usually Vaporize and Melt are the 2 most looked  with Frozen being great too. But personally i love Electro charge depsite not giving that much extra damage it's still nice.

Pay more attention i guess  Jokes aside it's basic stuff once you know you'll do without much thinking.

Mona is a Burst Character so you wanna have her Burst/Ult Uptime most of the times and use R2 to apply and aggro enemies, Xinquiu same, you use him to apply hydro nothing else, it's a support, it's usually used in the abyss for the Vaporize combos. Bennet Doesn't heal  Healing like at Most 2k health every 2 secs is such a little thing, you use bennet for that sweet ATK boost and that's it, the game actually has only 3 propero healer, Kokomi, Quiqui and Jean, the 4 stars are pretty bad unfortunately. Kazuha Group up enemies, weaks them and applies swirls for extra Damage and Combos, it's totally different, it's more a Sub Dps too dealing good damage rather than a support you swap out after the ability that just buffs.

All the characters have different Bonuses, it seems you think a support or healer it's the same as others if you quote Bennet in comaprison with Kazuha

I Mean you can, i do that if i'm lazy it's just that at times it's annoying Like Farming Domain, i can just put in Venti Group all the enmies up, 2 burst and done. Takes 30 secs, Faster than anything else for example! 

 

OH i noticed now you have both Jean and Quiqui, lvel them up! Especially Jean, it's great, it can apply Anemo and weak the enemies, it heals a Ton and With Bennet it's currently a great Combo for, Reason   Among the 4 Stars i would recommend Yun Jin, Noelle, Xiangling & Yanfei, all great characters to use, Beidou, Sayu, Rosaria and Fischl are too evene if more Constellation dependant i don't know what you have them.

Yeah, the overworld not so much, but you kind of need specialized teams for the domains as well since they have recommended elements. It takes longer than I would like to clear an ice domain because the only character on my team who's any good at dealing damage to the enemies in there is Hu Tao, and that means I constantly have to wait for the cooldown on her elemental skill. I'm starting to build up Xiangling now though, so then I'll have another decent pyro character to deal damage with.

Might even be C6 since I remember getting her a lot.

I restarted a new account when I got my PS5. I just got to AR 33. I ended up pulling premium characters on my old account but didn't hang around long enough to use, so that was my cue to take a break and then start again fresh. My goal is to still main Lisa. What can I say? She called me (and all of us) cutie.

Xiangling is a support Relying on her burst, one of the best so good work on her! She uses the ER set you find in Inazuma, the Black and purple one, btw. The Ice domain it's a massive pain still for me so don't worry it won't change

So don't trust until we see her probably alreayd in 3.0, surely in 3.1 with the banner. And Yes, that she is a Loli Model that is instead confirmed  Loli Archon

I Mean if you listen to the Lists that are made by idiotic metas sure, My Kokomi deals 25+30k per Combo and heals 8k every R2 tick and 5-6k every combo, try find onmline where Kokomi is ranked by people who don't care and think are right?  Level up quiqui is probably the best healer in the game in terms of Healing it can pump out and with the Clam set it's a Beast too for damage now that was the problem before and why she was considered "Bad".

Jean is the 3Rd best healer it can heal your Tema fully from almost death with 1 burst, in terms of Insta heal it's the best in the game. Plus she uses the Viridiscent set which is Awesome. Well if you have Beidou C6 ABSOLUTELY work on her then

What I meant is that his C6 turns the other team members' dmg into pyro so it's really bad with most non-pyro dps and restricts the teamcomps he's usable in (also people in coop won't be happy if you turn their dmg into pyro :D). So most people would stare at the red exclamation mark forever on the character tab rather than C6 him.

You shouldn't care too much since the game is easy, but I found it funny that as a new player out of all characters you got C6 of the one where it can actually be detrimental ?

For me he's one of the 2 characters that will forever stay level 1 cause I loathe his looks and personality trope. I immediately die of cringe if I see his pose ?.

Yeah, I can still clear all the domains just fine, but having teams that are tailored to specific domains will probably help a lot when I start seriously farming for artifacts. Will take even longer otherwise. And nice to know that the ice domain is a pain for you too. ?

Ah, I see. I've not paid much attention to the leaks before. But yeah, definitely interested to see what she looks like. Genshin needs more lolis. 

 

Who doesn't love Mona and her fat ass? ? I think I see how you're supposed to use her now though. Good for starting off an elemental chain reaction, especially when combined with the elemental burst for good damage. And yeah, I'll work on building up some healers so I can replace Bennett. ?

Fair enough. ? I'm sure Qiqi has her uses then. And now that I think about it, I'm not sure Jean would pair so well with Hu Tao since she benefits most when her HP is below 50%. The instant heal Jean has wouldn't give me much control over that compared to a healing circle. And I must have been thinking about a different character because it turns out my Beidou is only C1. ? I did get my first 5* weapon the other day though, Skyward Pride, which I guess is supposed to be good for her, so I think I'll still build her up.

Ah okay. Well damn, I assumed a higher constellation would always be better. Oops. ? I guess it's a good thing I rarely play in co-op then. I wouldn't want to annoy anyone. ? And yeah, that's a fair reaction to have towards Bennett. ? I find him annoying as well, but at least he only comes out for the 2 seconds it takes for him to use his elemental burst, and then he's swapped right out again lol.

I Mean it sure makes things a lot faster if i would take 5 minutes each time for a Domain, Ugh at times i don't even wanna bother, it's faster doing bosses and stuff i beat the Snake in the Chasm in 30 Secs it's faster  The Ice Domain is a pain because it has 2 enemies needing both a pyro to take down the shields so i only have Hu tao reliable for that, plus as said it took 1 month of doing it for 4 Good Pieces for my Ayaka, ugh. Luckily basically she and Ganyu are the only 2 Cryo i have and use that need that set and Ganyu works with Wonderer anyway.

 

I follow most leaks and beta stuff so i know before time  Well we have 4, we'll have more for sure in the future for more teams  

 

I Mean i love Mona overall but sure that too  Exactly, Mona Basiclaly deal a TON of damage with the Bubble from her burst you wanna pop it maybe in combo with liek Hu tao for Vaporize and dealing a lot of Damage, for the rest she is great for reactions. Yeah you should i don't know how you face against the Wolves then 

 

Qiqi as said it's probably the best raw healer in the game so in the Abyss is never a wrong choice personally. I Mean i use Kokomi with Hu tao so it's Awful on that regard but Eh (My Hu tao problem is the Awful 30% crit rate, when she crits deal 20k per charged and 50k with the burst, whenever that wants to happen, working on it). Plus 2 R2 and you are already down 50% if you are a great dodger and can't get hit before i go down to under 50% anyway by getting hit  Ah, a pity, still a good characetr Beidou to build if you Wanna! Ah Unlucky i guess, not one of the best Weapon to find, still yeah having ER as sub stat is great for Someone like Beidou which reliase on her Burst a lot and not Much on ATK like Eula.

 

Ah if you have problema and wanna farm togheter the Lv90 weekly bosses just tell me, i'll help no problem
