Yes, I might add more games once I finish these four. With the way LEGO Batman 3 is going, I may have to put down 36 Fragments of Midnight to get to 59 platinums before Persona 5 Royal comes out again for the PS5. (Not that 36 Fragments is cursed or anything, it's a nice chill game which relaxes you as you try to get under 6 minutes without dying, and I won't make the mistake I made with A Winter's Daydream due to me deciding that the Vita version of that game is cursed due to janky controls and I will never download that pile of [censored] as I will never earn the under 6 minutes trophy. It's just that I feel like a cop-out, even though it's technically backlog. ?) What was worse was finding out that I had to buy the Season Pass for LEGO Batman 3 on my current account due to me thinking I had the deluxe edition which had all the DLC built in it. Nope! At least it was only a loss of $15. After that payment, I did all the trophies for completing the DLC levels, getting True Hero in all of them(since I had smartly gotten the Stud Magnet red brick as well as the x2 and x4 multipliers) and doing some miscellaneous trophies that don't involve having characters I haven't unlocked yet. Also did a couple of transformation ttrophies. I haven't gotten too far into the Free Play yet because the video guide I was using(by Mr HappyThumbsGaming, who makes great 100% LEGO Guides) said you needed Brainiac and I thought I had to buy him. Yep, my brain was still locked in the accursed Vita version. In that version, you have to spend 2 million studs and buy the android and unlock him, but in this game he's already in your roster no charge(drafted into civic service after what he did ) so I have to go back through those levels again. Thankfully you can skip areas you've completed because going through those levels again is LOOOONG. Gonna bum rush all of the Free Play and then leave the hub side quests and Lantern Planets for last because my **** the races are the worst thing ever. I did all the unlockable VR missions and I think the rest are part of hub side quests so there's that. Popular Post dark_moon689
2nd Update: Finished 2 games so far and I am almost done with a third, got my partner to sit down with me to finish a couple of them... I enjoyed A Way Out, the characters were fun to hang out with. Did the last play through of Man of Medan, I don't recommend streaming the game, is pretty unstable just playing it regularly on the ps4 and adding online and streaming does not help... but I did it streaming in my laptop while my partner played on the ps4, It glitched awfully around a the half way mark we were stuck in a infinite loop of loading back in and getting kick out of the game, but I was able to continue using chapter select, picking the latest chapter and a new save slot to carry on, it still kicked us out and just plain crashed a few more times but we were able to just continue. And I finally bother to finish TLOU, is a great story and Left Behind is sweet, but even with the difficulty exploit I just didn't feel it was worth replaying. Maybe I seen so much of it and about it through the years... It's part of why I keep abandoning it every time I picked it up, I am just happy to almost be done with it. I am gonna try to finish a couple more games before the month is over. But I've been working a lot more than I expected when I joined. 1. (PS4) Pillars of Eternity - 13% -> 18% -> 2. This is going slow due to my 'Batcave' requiring me to work on it, so I can't be on the PS4 all day. Predictions are the small house will be painted and ready to install furnishings by this weekend and once that's done, my folks will evict me into that place, so a week before Halloween I think I'll be in. (And I promised my nieces they could come to that place and get candy from me so it has to be done before the Witching Night. ) And then I'll be drowning in Shadow Pokemon as I play through Gales of Darkness on the GameCube to try to at least finish one regional part of the Global Living Pokedex before Scarlet and Violet arrive, so I haven't been at LEGO Batman for a long time. Still, I try to clear out 5% each day. I am dreading finishing up Free Play and then having to do side quests to get 100%. Those Lantern Planets are going to be Hell. Did finish up another DLC level, though. EDIT: I just played some more tonight and finally got 100% in all the DLC levels but Man of Steel(because I have refused to visit the Lantern Planets, Krypto is unavailable for the "Krypto Come Home" trophy, since he's a character token in the Zamaron Planet side-quests. Also struggled with every race in Oa except one flying race which I am saving for the Green Loontern. The car races are (censored to infinity) so I just used Harley Quinn's motorbike to cheese them and used Superman for most of the flying races. I can't hold off on the other Lantern planets forever, but I did 100% Watchtower, The Batcave, and both Halls (because you need to 100% Hall of Doom to get Poison Ivy for one regular level and the Bizzaro DLC Level) though there was a glitched quest in Hall of Justice, the misguided tour one because Superboy and one tourist I rescued got glitched into their prisons. It was annoying and I had to reset. Well, time to go to bed, tomorrow's a big day, I'm lathering up the walls on my own Batcave and hopefully I can move in before Halloween. Cheers! Popular Post Arophous
Not had much gaming time but what little I had went into continuing to finish the DLC for Resi 2 Remake, I have to say whilst the DLC was a little frustrating it was a great addition to the game. The DLC has you take on 4 different scenarios similar to the 4th survivor run, with characters you likely encountered during the Leon/Claire playthrough. Without a guide there are akin to a rogue like experience where you die/repeat the scenario to learn what is coming/how to deal with them. The final scenario is the killer one, it absolutely nailed the feeling of being trapped in a room with zombies at every door and you fighting to survive, for 12 or so minutes you have to focus (luckily you can pause for breath/decision making), decisions mean life or death (what gun you use, how much health you leave untreated, where you shoot, where you position yourself). Whilst objectively I don't feel it is quite as epic as the original back when I played as a kid, Resi 2 Remake is a great re-imagining of the game. No excuse now, time to get on and do some Shooty McShootersons in Borderlands 2 ? - Elden Ring - 15% -> 27% -> 50% -> - The Evil Within - 16% - Borderlands 2 - 1% -> 2% -> 5% - Darksiders 2 - 5% - Resident Evil 2 - 0% -> 13% -> 22% -> -> 100%

Just a tiny update before I head to gym, I played some more LEGO Batman 3 this morning and got all of the story levels and DLC levels 100% and got Zamaron to 100% so I could get Krypto for the Man of Steel level trophy. So now all DLC trophies are earned and now the only thing I have to do is clear the remaining six Lantern Planets, do that one Oa race as Green Loontern and then get to the secret 100% fountain. However, I'll probably be busy paintng up the walls of my future house so I probably won't be on the game right away. Also, my PS4 is probably one foot in the grave now because I had to restart it a zillion times due to it giving me errors of "Cannot Start PS4" so I will probably platinum the games on my list and freeze said list until Nov. 3 so I can replace my machine. It'll wipe all my accounts and all those games I bought on those accounts but it's probably for the best as there are a ton of shameful games I would rather not have to be tempted by(like The Dog K ). I'll also lose Persona 5 Royal, but that will just incentivize me to buy the PS5 version. (I'll also lose LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga, but I should have been blissful unaware of it in the first place, that thing is too big for me to play. ) Edited October 21, 2022 by Taruta13

DizzyDavidson
@sword-blaster45 It might not work for you but this is how I do things. First I skim through a trophy guide if available. Check for any missable/glitched/online trophies. If the game is long I try to keep them in mind as a play but otherwise I just enjoy the game for what it is till I’m done with the story or I’m a good way in. I play lots of different genres so it takes a little time to find my “groove” in a game. Then I do my clean up phase. By that time I’m quite familiar with the game for things to go smooth(er). Of course this means games take about 50% longer than a guide says it should. Also I like to focus on one game at a time or if a game is a huge time sink then I play something light next to it to switch it up.

At long last, I am free of DC Universe. Oh my Arceus, I really hated the Lantern Planets, but at least I got them done. The panic set in when I got 248/250 gold bricks... and then I remembered I had two more VR missions I had to do. I got the last VR blocks, got the last vehicle, got to 100% and warped back to the Watchtower to pull the switch to make it rain blue studs and get the pop. Then I deleted all that c*** from my PS4, which I may to have replaced someday as it is having trouble starting. ? But it's over and I put that meme pic up to show me BURNING THE DANG LEGO GAME OFF MY PS4. With that out of the way, I am going to take a long break, maybe not play PS4 tomorrow. Just before this platinum popped, I painted the entire kitchen of my own Batcave a nice Dragon Quest slime blue and it won't be long before I disconnect my Playstations, take them out of the office room in my parents' house, and put them in my own little home. Well, all saying, I am not sure I want to add TOEM. I may participate in the Kill Your Completion event this year on November and I'm gonna psyche myself up for Halloween Persona 5 Royal game time and spending time with my sister and her daughters. (Luckily, neither of them show any pyromaniac tendencies. ) EDIT: I have to because I realized I had quoted the last post from a month ago, which was the one where I just platinumed LEGO Batman 3 for Vita, and forgot to edit out the (60%=>100%) part on all future quotes. Popular Post KimBongUn420
Update 4: a big one (finally). #157: Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Difficulty: 7/10 (5/10 with Seitengrat) Grind: 8/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 I've said a lot about this game already, but the bottom line is it's one of the best JRPG remasters we've gotten in the past 10 years, and is worthy of being picked up sight unseen. Story could be better, Vaan and Penelo are still pointless, and it's really disappointing that this game doesn't run at 60fps on PS but does on Xbox, but the game's still good enough where I can overlook a lot of those things. The world building of Ivalice in particular is fantastic, especially for a 15 year old game. The variety of areas and monsters would put a lot of games to shame today - there are far more monster variants in this game than Tales of Arise, for example. The platinum is a pretty big grind, but nothing hugely unreasonable. If you're smart about how you play the story, you can minimize a lot of backtracking to areas that are hard to get to. Also, and I cannot overstate this enough, spend an hour or two learning the gambit system. It will help you immensely in the lategame grind. Get someone in your party that can wither/addle, and it will make the endgame bosses (Omega/Yiazmat) much easier. For Trial 100, use Big Bang. Makes it a breeze. #158 Burly Men at Sea [PS4] Difficulty: 2/10 Grind: N/A Enjoyment: 5/10 I finally played this as a palate cleanser after spending so much time on FF12, and I found it to be thoroughly mediocre. I enjoyed the music and the graphics, but despite being a game where there were multiple different endings, there was absolutely zero narrative arc over them. Compared to a game such as Stories: The Path of Destinies, it was a huge letdown in that regard. It turned the completion of the game into a series of checkboxes for me, instead of working to put the pieces together of a larger story. Definitely a game that had lots of potential, but fell flat on its face. #159: Cat Quest Difficulty: 3/10 Grind: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 This was a neat, fun little game. I didn't have a lot of expectations going into it, other than a lot of people on the site liked it. For a small game, it nails the RPG elements pretty well. The story is serviceable, there are good side quest chains, and lots of different ways to play the game depending on the abilities you used. There are even invisible items in the game that "break" the combat. The one thing I really didn't like was the inability to move around the map, which made keeping track of dungeon completion much more difficult than it needed to be. Some variety in the dungeon layout would have been welcome too. I was pleasantly surprised by this game and am looking forward to playing the sequel! Other Progress: finished the Golden Loop DLC for Deathloop. It was nice to revisit this game after about a year. DLC only takes about an hour but I still had fun with it. finally, FINALLY got AC Valhalla to 100% completion. I thought the Forgotten Saga was extremely well-done, and it might be the best piece of DLC in the entire game. It took me about 5 hours to beat the whole thing, but I wouldn't have minded another 5-10 on top of that. The Nidhogg fight especially was a ton of fun. I found the fight with Hel to be way easier than I thought it should have been, but I get that Ubisoft probably had to put in some sort of balance for people who don't like or aren't familiar with roguelikes. Looking forward to The Last Chapter whenever it drops. My game time on Valhalla also crossed 200h ?. As much as I criticized things about this game, I definitely got my money's worth. My PS5 copy of P5R showed up yesterday, and I'm having to resist the urge to play it lol. Working on Atelier Sophie DX right now. I've barely started, and this is a genre of game that is WAY off my radar usually, but we will see how it goes! Good luck to everyone and keep knocking away at those lists! List: Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age - 85% -> (Oct 15) Cat Quest - 0% -> (Oct 20) Cat Quest II Atelier Sophie DX - 0% -> 2% Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Burly Men at Sea - 0% -> (Oct 16) Stray [PS5] Games Completed: 3/7 Trophies: 91/248 (36.7%) Swaps: 0/3 Other games I'll be working on, not a part of the challenge: Assassin's Creed Valhalla [PS5] - 88% -> 100% ✅ Gran Turismo 7 - 73% Edited October 22, 2022 by KimBongUn420

Well, this is embarrassing, but I have to start Modern Tales all over again. I got very far in it... and then found out from a guide that I was missing four collectibles. The other guide I was using did not tell me where those things were. So, delete the save data and start all over. I even gave the game a bone by not deleting my save when I had to start over due to a glitch that happens if you exit the tutorial mid-way where you can't interact with anything in the Pavilion and are softlocked, but this is too much. I'm going to try again tomorrow but I won't have much time - I have to help my dad lay down flooring for my future house and the sooner we get that task done, the sooner we can call in the calvary to install the air conditioner and appliances for the kitchen and bath and then I can move my PS4 and PS5 to the new place as it will be liveable... and then I'll boot up Pokemon X.D. and catch all the Shadow Pokemon for my living Dex. Not going to complete it (as f'k Meltan and its evolution, and f'k Pokemon GO ?) but I want to have it 90% complete before Scarlet and Violet drop. I know I talk about Pokemon a lot but my life will be a slave to these games (as well as $100 as I pre-ordered both versions in a double bundle) until I complete the story, so there will be much less time to earn trophies. Still, I will stay the course and re-start this Mundi title tomorrow. *sigh* At least I did all of the speed-tactic trophies like solve a puzzle in less than a minute for both types so I don't have to worry about that, and you don't have to beat Expert difficulty in this game, a mode that punishes you for click-baiting the hidden object puzzzles. I wanted to add another game but I already started this list so I have to wait until those three games are done. Also, to KingBongUn and his hideous avatar of doom, congrats on platinuming FFXII! I'm going to be starting that for the Kill Your Completion challenge in November, so wish me luck. Yeah, I'm resisting the urge to BUY it as I need to save money for, you know, food. (I spent WAY TOO MUCH on MMO currency. ) Probably when my next check comes in... (I do have the original version but I want to play it on Halloween.) Edited October 24, 2022 by Taruta13
Popular Post MidnightDragon
The time has finally come! Arcade Game Series: Ms. Pac-Man-100% 10/6 Dragon Quest Builders 2 Hoard-100% 9/28 Klonoa Phantasy Reverie SeriesStray-0=>86% TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection-100% 9/10 Swaps used: 2/3 Whoever made the Can't Cat-ch Me trophy is cruel. Took me 45 minutes to get that. That being said, great game and loved the story and being a kitty cat. The ending made me a little sad, though. Wish I had done this sooner. I have to do the speedrun and a little clean up, but so far, so good.

Anything you want to say to him about Tales of Arise and your experiences with it? Tales of Arise is a long plat around 75ish to 80ish hours. there is a bit of a learning curve to combat. if your friend likes action combat and mashing buttons they should play alphen. if they like to stand back and actually pay attention to what is going on, play rinwell(mage). The game can easily cleared by her with her high magic spells. I am still working on A Plague Tale Innocence. Very short linear game and puzzles can be frustrating at times. there is a upgrade glitch on chapter 10 to max out all gear which should remove the annoyance of actually replaying levels to get the resources you need. As for NieR Automata, I haven't touched this game in months. From what i've heard you can buy the trophies at some point in the game? combat and soundtrack is really nice.
