twaanie
My first thing with gaming would be the Gameboy advance but if we are strictly speaking about consoels i would have to say the Gamecube. Dang I miss the times when I had friends that actually liked to play a game.

Parker
I do believe it was a 4 switch, wood grain Atari 2600 introduced to me by my grandparents. I still have the console to this day and it works perfectly. Parker
Death
I got a Super Nintendo for my 3rd birthday back in '94. I think it might have been bundled with The Flintstones and The Lemmings. Super Metroid was the game that made me a gamer.
Vlad1349
My first console was the NES on 95 with this game.

merciful84
i wanted a PS2 as my first system but my parents gave an Atari 2600 (because we were poor at the time) and I love it, I love my Atari to death and i want to buy more games for it, I love the Atari 2600 as much as my PS2, PS3, Nintendo DS, Sega Genesis, Gameboy and my PC Or maybe it was because your parents were awesome! I bet you have a better understanding and appreciation for gaming now though because of that

TehRadge
First home console was the SNES. But before that I had a Sega Game Gear (handheld, not a console) And before that an Atari ST (Computer mainly used for games and audio production) Abnd even before that, a Sinclair ZX Spectrum (Computer mostly renowned for gaming)
CrestfallenAU
I had access to an Atari 2600, but the first console that was actually 'mine' was a Charcoal Grey Nintendo 64. It's been 17 years since I received that console and it's still in working condition in my gaming room today. I also now own the Atari 2600 that my parents had when I was a child as well, which is also still in working condition.

Lady Lilith
Played a Sega Master System first, but these were the first systems I owned in 1991 (Game Gear), and 1992 (Genesis). That was it for me until 1998 with N64 (OoT) and GBC (Pokemon).

TheDevilSurvivor
If I'm not mistaken, the first console I ever had was a PS2, the fat ones. My dad got one the month they were released. As for a console bought exclusively for me, it was the GameBoy Advance. With Pokémon Emerald!

TheIncinerator1
First systems I played with were both the SNES and the Genesis, so I got best of both worlds with those two thanks to my dad being into games at the time As for first handheld, I think it might've been the Nomad
