Maiden May Cry? (Trophy thoughts)

Quite an interesting trophy list for this game. S rank requirements, finish the game on all difficulties...might be worth a check for DMC/Ninja Gaiden/Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae fans?

Yeah, I noticed that requirement too earlier today.

 

It looks more Onechanbara than Devil May Cry

I thought this looked like basically "Sorry, we can't do Senran Kagura anymore... Here's basically that but a bit more tame" needless to say I Pre-Ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition (does it even have a Physical Release? Regardless, it won't here in Australia ?‍♂️) looking forward to it, and if it isn't too hard/annoying getting all the S Ranks on all Difficulties (and if it is close to SK more than anything, it probably won't be that hard with everyone Upgraded and just selecting the "Difficulty" at the Mission Select Screen) I'll double Plat it, gonna play the PS5 Version first of course.

The Asia/JP English version(s) has a retail release on Play-Asia.com.

I couldn't remember the last time I felt even a little hype for a new game release, but everything changed the day I learned about this game ?

By the way did the icon for the trophy The Unforgettable Underworld change? It was different before. First time I see a trophy icon changing

EDIT: No, I was wrong. It didn't change. The icon for the PS5 version is different

I know that, it looks more like SK though (then again I believe Onee Chanbara, the last Oneechanbara, had the similar cell shaded style) I dunno

Looking great! I'm reasonably hyped for this title, not only due to the cute-looking girls and pretty aesthetics, but the combat looks solid too. Cool to see the developers adding a trophy list that's going to be featuring a decent amount of work and challenge as well. Nice choice there. ^^

Now, I know it looks a lot like Maiden May Cry but I am going to echo everyone else here and say that it does look like it's a halfway point between that and Senran Kagura or Onechanbara.

i been playing it for the last week the plat is pretty hard but the game is pretty shit they reuse the same boss fight 6 times over enemies are just hp sponge garbage they will shove like 80 fucking mini bosses in your face at once while a million minions are also trying to fuck you over
