Reported glitch Maximum Security

Well tht was a lot easier to full quick question what happens if u don’t have a auto save and just a manual save on the run to the pods could I use tht save? As I’ve deleted all my other saves unfortunately

For any update after 1.006.000, you can still make this glitch work if you have a physical copy of the game, but it requires a lot of tweaking. I just did it.

Make sure you have a save file for the pods' portion on the run. Once you do, exit and delete the game. This next part is up to you. Choose between turning off the internet connection on the PlayStation or canceling and deleting the update.

Worth a shot as long as you can get it to auto save onto version 1.00 during your run to the pods then manual save from that you should be ok just back up your 1.07 saves before you try anything so they aren't lost and delete them off the console after u get your 1.00 saves to save

I haven't heard of anyone this hasn't worked for, originally based off TA digging. Worked first time for me and several others.

So here is my story. I have a PS4 Pro, started the game with the 1.06 version. This version still had performance issues so I stopped playing during chapter 2 and waited for the new patch. New patch arrived, I continued my journey from the previous save. I completed the game on maximum security (legit play) today and the difficulty trophy popped up correctly. That is the good news. The bad news: the PS4 trophy list still not syncing with PSN. I don't know when will they fix this issue if they ever will.

It took time to sync for me too, like 10mins, but it happened.

Played and beat the PS4 version (patch 1.06) on my PS5, did the whole thing legit on maximum and no trophy. Tried reloading auto saves, nothing. Made a manual save and nothing. I think at this point I might as well let the game update and hopefully I can just get the trophy later on in future patches.

Uh huh.  If the devs left it alone, someone doing the exploit doesn't affect your game. 

 

You can blame the devs on this, not the exploit.

On 1.07? Were you just hitting continue each time or did you manually load an auto save? If the latter, which auto save did you keep loading? Did you reboot the game in between or just keep loading the auto saves without exiting the game?

No I followed @related_browser1 ‘s post below and it worked after a few tries. Using the 1.0 auto saves I managed to make. I started the game on 1.06 and finished on 1.07 and couldn’t get it to work so at least this works now. hopefully you have the disc version!

Once you do this, load the game up so that it is on version 1.000.000. The game will not let you make a manual save and will crash before any auto-save. You will have to fix this, and it is pretty simple.

 

Make sure you have an auto-save open. You only need one at this time. If you have to delete one, make sure it is not the file where you start running for the pods.

Start a new game, and it will immediately make an auto-save. I recommend the new game being on Maximum Security.

Now try and load the other file you plan on using. Yes, it will say Callisto the Start on Minimum Security. All of the files will. Ignore it. This should cause the game to crash.

 

We are doing just fine. Make sure you are not updating the game and go back into it. Load the file near the end of the game, as mentioned before. Now, you should notice your weapons don't match up. At least they never did for me. Change the difficulty to Maximum Security. Even if the file already says Maximum Security, you must make this change as it claims to be set on Medium Security. Also, you need another autosave slot open, and if you have to delete one, it's not the one you are currently using, just in case.

 

Now die. This should force an auto-save. It does not always work, but try again. You will now have zero items, period. If it worked and it was saved, you should now be able to make a manual save. If you can, and all of your files, say Maximum Security, delete any of the files past version 1.000.000. With that done, beating the game should net you the trophy/achievement at the end of the cinematic, where Jacob kills all of the enemies with no gun and no stun baton. He is literally pointing his finger at them.

 

After the trophy/achievement pops, you can let the game update. Also, this will work better on Performance mode. That is important until all the files are 1.000.000 files.

 

Now, for a bit of advice. Make sure you go under storage and pull the previous file from the Cloud saves, or you will have a bunch of saves with absolutely nothing. No gun, no baton, and so on. Might be sad with New Game+ come February 7th of next year. Personal experience on this one.

It just popped on my play-through, legit maximum security difficulty on ps5       patch 1.07

Game updated to 1.07, reloaded my saved, ran to the end, hit the credits and the trophy popped. Now I just need the PS4 list to go live so I can sync.

I've given up on trying to get the exploit to work, and am using @Optinooby 's brilliant no damage plat speedrun video guide, but playing the PS4 version so that it doesn't feel like too much of a hassle.  I'm on Chapter 6, and if the difficulty trophy pops, I am for sure just going to load up the last save file on the PS5 version to finish that off.  

 

Edit: Welp, I'm in the home stretch, thanks to the guide.  Just hit the las chapter late last night, so we'll see if the Max Security trophy pops after doing it legit.

Indeed, Patch 1.08 dropped today, December 15th 2022, but has not addressed the Maximim Security trophy problem.

 

Its still a crapshoot for those who attempt it legitimately 

 

I'm on PS5, still locked out of it.

Yeah, it seems that it's still a crapshoot.  

 

You shouldn't have to purchase the PS4 version - because you bought the PS5 version, you can just download it by going into the Library section on your PS5, and pressing Options while highlighting the game.  

 

Unless you mean a physical copy of the PS4 version.
