Will they stop adding dlcs to the first one now?

I think, they gave a road map on the last DLC, where they mentioned new DLC in 2023.

Or at least they planned some back then. If there is more coming or not, I don't know.

The achievement list (and thus future trophy list) has also been released and details a few of the new features!

https://www.exophase.com/game/cities-skylines-ii-xbox/achievements/

New features:

• 150 tiles!

• Seasons

• Cargo transport lines

• Signature buildings (landmarks potentially?)

• Rat infestations

• Purple zoning type (maybe a new colour for offices or maybe something brand new)

DLC features from Cities 1 now in the base game:

• Weather (hailstorm)

• Disasters (tornado, forest fire)

• Creating parks

• Potentially building airports from scratch? (“Build an airport”)

Awesome! Really enjoyed the first one. I have over 500 hours logged, even post-platinum/100%, playing it just for fun. Looking forward to this!

Hopefully they improve the traffic AI in the sequel. Instead of a multi lane road with all cars in one lane and no cars in the other lane, for example.

Must have for me! Not sure if the 40€ more for the first expansion and a "set", whatever that means (even though I love SF), plus some other forgettable stuff is worth it to go with the Ultimate Edition. If they go nuts with DLCs like they did with the first one you will buy x season passes either way, so better wait for more info before ordering.

Glad it's coming to consoles at the same time as PC.

If this wasn’t coming so close to Spider-Man 2, would consider a day 1.

You're in luck then, they've pushed back the console release to spring 2024 😉

Between the new release windows and PC requirements becoming higher, I have a feeling it won't be running all that well on consoles.

Hopefully it does, but we’ll see.

Meh. Still got the first one in the backlog so I'm in no rush.

I'd be surprised if it launched on consoles buggy simply because, by now, with it being such an alleged train wreck on PC, you'd think the developers would take as much time as needed to get it right. It's not like console fans are waiting with bated breath.
