Has anyone got information on the release date for this PS5 version? I looked on whales website but I didn't see anything. I am also wondering if it's a free upgrade?

There is now a free upgrade.

Whoa. Just started this game the other day. Bought it years ago and finally booted it up. Now there's a PS5 version? Hell yeah lol.

I played it all the way back in 2017 when it released. I would love to play it again.

Game is out but no free upgrade.

You can buy it in the jp store to get the ps4 jp stack for free.

I looked in my Library on PS5 for The complex and Late shift. Both are in there to download for PS4 but if I use the 3 dots to go to the product page, I arrive at a cross-buy version of the game and that's not free.

Kinda lame its crossbuy for new buyers but for those who already gave them money, its not free upgrade or even a pay a couple bucks for upgrade deal.

Good to screw your original customers.

I think the devs were just incompetent and mis-configured the store entry.

Same old story yet again with upgrades from pre-existing PS4 games to newly released native PS5 versions when they come out.

I remember Outward Definitive Edition had such backlash that they had to eventually fix it and make it free for existing users. Microids games and many others have/had the same issue with free upgrades being promised but it seems the Publishers dont care enough for existing customers.

For those that had the PS4 version before the release of this, there is now a free upgrade for it.

Thanks for telling! :)
I was able to claim the free PS5 upgrade for The complex and Late shift.
I didn't own Ten dates on PS4.
