zaxonzaxon
Got a question: Β Fallout 76 got a DLC update with 3 new trophies on the 26th of March, and they are still ultra rare (though prolly not for long.) Popular Post zaxonzaxon
All right, with the free point from Fallout 76, I've got two games to add and my second tier finished: Β Fallout 76 -- Officially claiming this for the second Atlantic City DLC set, which was added March 26th and is still UR on the 28th of April: Spoiler Β The Last Guardian -- (5 point bounty) I was worried about this one because of how terrible people were saying the trophy list is, but the negativity was overhyped. I mean, yeah, the trophy list is bad, but the multiple playthroughs to finish the trophies actually made me really love the game, so in balance it all worked out. (Everyone complains about the "listen to all hints" trophy, but I found that one to be only mildly annoying. The worst by far was the speed run trophy, which ruined everything good about the game and amplified everything bad about it.) Β And that's tier two complete: Β I wasn't expecting to have this done until midsummer at least, so it's now time to start thinking about tier 3: Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (If it's still UR on May 23rd.) Hundred Days (3.4%) Just Cause 2 (4.8%) Outward (1.5%) Furi (1.8%)

Popular Post Koro249
Tier 1 update Darwin Project β Another flopped mutliplayer game. This time itβs a small scale battle royale (up to 12 players) focused on melee combat with the addition of a bow with very limited shots and some interesting abilities. The few legit matches I did were actually quite enjoyable, I think the vision of the developers was not bad. However the game doesnβt have much to offer and fails to stand out in this vast ecosystem of online pvp games. In terms of trophies I was required to reach top 3 every day for about 4 months to reach level 50, since for your first match of the day xp is greatly increased. Grinding it out in normal matches would be ridiculous and could easily take hundreds of hours. I do however not recommend to go for this game anymore, as it was already quite dead and sometimes I experienced issues with the servers. Not to mention they already shut most of their server locations down 2 years ago. Having to play this for some months just makes it risky. Difficulty: 2/10, Enjoyment: 5/10, Playtime: 35h Β Armored Core: Verdict Day βAt first, I was skeptical if it would be a game for me but @dropman ultimately convinced me to do it with him and Iβm glad, because it turned out to be one of my favorite PS3 games to date. The major downside of this game are the loading screens and the menuing. I am not exaggerating when I say that you spend more time in menus than in the actual game itself, especially considering many minutes only take 1 minute or less. It is also annoying that there are 3 damage types, you can only bring 1 each time, and you have no way of knowing what the enemies in the next mission will be weak to (at least to my knowledge) and it becomes trial and error until you find the right equipment. Now the positive: The game offers plenty of these really short, action-packed missions, where your goal is almost always to simply kill all enemies. This simplicity really resonated with me and with the bonus of it being a coop game, I had a lot of fun. Using your coop partner as a fighter while you stay back and relax also makes the S ranks quite trivial for the most part, with only a few tricky exceptions. We were also lucky that @CelestialRequiem offered to carry us through some of the toughest World Bosses, since he is quite experienced at the game. Hardcore mode was also not as hardcore as it may seem, and the multiplier that makes you deal 10x damage while you take 5x damage was quite refreshing because you have to adapt your playstyle. Difficulty: 6/10, Enjoyment: 8/10, Playtime: 40-50h Β Warface β A F2P FPS that essentially takes all the trends in online games of recent years and combines them into a game that has lots to offer. Battle Royale, CSGO sytle modes, more casual mp modes and PvE maps where you fight either enemy military or zombies. However nothing blew us away. It often felt like a budget CoD game. Trophy wise there were two steps for us: First a long slog of boosting the mp modes and then secondly the actually enjoyable part, PvE missions (operations). For the most part those were really easy. Completing the HQ mission could have become a problem if it werenβt for a convenient glitch detailed in the guide that makes this one trivial as well. Difficulty: 4/10, Enjoyment: 6/10, Playtime: 35h Β Racket Sports β The first PS Move game I have completed. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. As the name suggests, the game offers 5 different sports that have one thing in common: the use of a racket. Your character moves by itself so it basically comes down to good timing and correct judgment when playing the ball back. In each sport, you must win 3 championships with increasing AI difficulty which typically requires you to get 8 to 10 wins in a row each time. However, if you feel like you are losing, you can simply quit out of the match and the score will be reset. This makes most sports quite trivial to complete, except for Squash. The problem in this one is that the field is quite small, and the ball typically bounces off multiple walls, giving the AI a lot of time to react and play the ball back. Here, endurance is key, and you will likely not get through it without a few quit-outs. The move technology works surprisingly well, with only a handful of shots going in the wrong direction here and there. One major problem to be noted is if you move to quickly while switching front to back hand (or vice versa), the game registers this as a swing and you will lose the point. Similarly, when trying to do a weak shot, it can happen that the game doesnβt register the swing at all, and your character ends up doing nothing. Difficulty: 5/10, Enjoyment: 6/10, Playtime: 20h Β Necromunda: Underhive Wars β This was no fun so Iβll keep it short. Itβs a turn-based strategy game in the Warhammer-40k universe. Probably the dumbest AI I have experienced in any game to date. Every mission takes ages since every time you make a move, you have to watch your enemy units wander around the map aimlessly. Also bad performance and bug-riddled. Nice game to do something on the side, but I didnβt get anything out of it, aside from some sweet ultra rares . Difficulty: 3/10, Enjoyment: 3/10, Playtime: 60h And as always, special thanks to my usual partners: @Mori, @dropman042, @trophynerd122, Zadiris. Popular Post OzaXD
I've been insanely busy the past few months and had next to no time for gaming although things are starting to settle down now and I've finally got some completions to post about for a quick little update! Β #4 Disco Elysium (Q2 Bounty 3.75% 1.82%) Β Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Β Not a whole lot to say about Disco Elysium. I LOVED my original blind playthough of game itself as I enjoy complex dialogue systems as well as detective based games, both of which are quite hard to come by, then paired with some RPG elements meshed together extremely well. At times I felt some of the text to be extremely lore heavy and abit much, although I can appreciate the developers spending time to add it in for players who are looking for it. Β Now for the trophy list, my only gripe I had with the game. The trophy list requires 2 playthroughs, without spoiling anything, one much longer playthrough and a more rushed but shorter playthrough. There are A LOT of niche dialogue options required for both of these playthroughs meaning a guide is REQUIRED making the blind playthrough pretty much useless (if all you care about is trophies), hence I was looking at 3 total playthroughs as I wanted to enjoy the game for myself the first time around. After my initial blind playthrough I needed quite a long break so I left this one for ~4 months until I felt ready to tackle it again. When following a guide for the 2 playthroughs in order to get all trophies it devolves to "head here", "talk to x", "select 1 4 5 2 3 4 5 6 2 1 2 2 2 2 1 2 4 5 6 2 3 5", with the number representing the dialogue options. This becomes extremely tedious and quite easy to lose your place especially when you're selecting 30+ dialogue options as the numbers all seem to blend into one another ontop of trying to rush / skip the generic dialogue. To top this off the guide I followed on TrueAchievements also seemed to have some of the dialogue numbers wrong although, it wasn't to bad to figure out eventually myself it still made it a bit confusing at times. Β Β Β #5 Persona 4: Arena (0.39%) Β Difficulty: 9/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Β Β I'm not the greatest at fighting games, infact they're probably my worst genre, although I really enjoy combo trials as I find them needing to require a really unique skillset that I don't really find from any other game. I had P4A on my radar for awhile as I knew it had quite challenging trials but not impossible, and after recently picking up a PS3 I decided to give it a shot. P4A also has a notorious "Score Attack" mode in where you have to fight the entire cast of 13 characters set to the hardest difficulty all with increased powers in different ways. Β I first began with the combo trials. In order to earn the trophies from the trials you needed to finish all characters 30 trials (390 total) which scale in difficulty, with challenge #30 being an "expert challenge" and requiring something unique to the character. For example this might be doing a certain # of hits in a single combo or doing multiple of the same super in a combo etc. Thankfully some of these have being optimised due to being able to do these a lot of different ways with how flexible the requirements are, not using the tradtional move list in order format, although a lot are still EXTREMELY difficult. I managed to get through the majority of these in an okay amount of time as there's some exellent guides on how to tackle all of these challenges but I remember struggling with Teddie and Aigis for a few days, mainly the combos requiring a TK motion deep into the combo due to how foreign it was for me. Β After completing all the trials all I had left was the score attack mode, thankfully this could be made a little easier by spamming pause in order to input read the AI and react accordingly. Initially I thought this mode was INSANE due to how overwhelming the AI is even using the pause cheese, although I soon realised it was mainly due to my knowledge. Even after completing all combo trials I never really learnt what the cast did, what was safe and what wasn't etc, so intially there was quite a large learning curve but I slowly starting earning completions for each character. The good thing about this mode is the knowledge carries from each character as the AI has very specific habbits you learn to abuse and punish making it quite achieveable. The biggest issue I had was as I mentioned in the introduction was the fact I was only able to play a few times a week at stages, due to moving house ontop of being in my last semester at uni, so everytime I picked up the game I felt extremely rusty. The hardest characters for me with Labrys (due to her being my first clear I really think she's a meme if I were to go back) and Mitsuru (maybe biast beacuse she was the character I was stuck on inbetween my lengthy break). Β Overall was a pretty pleasent experience, the score attack got a little tedious towards the end but I enjoyed the combo trials which were the main reason I picked the game up to begin with. Popular Post XxIsa-GxX
Β NBA 2K23 (PS4) (Β - 0.42%) Β Tier 1 DmC Devil May Cry (PS3) NBA 2K23 (PS4) NBA 2K23 was a part of last year's PS+ Essential game list for the June line-up. Despite growing up with basketball, and achieving second place in one of our tournaments in middle school around 10 years ago, I always tried to stay away from NBA 2K games on this account because of how 2K cutting the life-support for the NBA titles and how grindy they were... until June 7th, 2023 where I though playing basketball would be fun and bring some nostalgia... I was both having fun and regretting this decision to start playing 2K23 LOL. Well today, I've unlocked the platinum trophy for the PS4 version of NBA 2K23, which took me 146 hours in total, and wanted to share my thoughts, alongside knocking down my second game on Tier 1 (after my busy university/college schedule). Β While the JORDAN CHALLENGE was a fun and short trip to Michael Jordan's legacy, and MyLEAGUE and PLAY NOW trophies were straightforward and fast to unlock their respective trophies (The online community in 2K is toxic so most players tend to rage quit once you assert dominance in that game), there are three modes worth mentioning here, where MyTEAM and MyCAREER are known for being grindy, whereas, NBA TODAY is known for its date sensitivity. Β NBA TODAY: As a classic for old-gen NBA 2K games, NBA TODAY mode allows you to play between two teams, according to the real-life NBA Season schedule. While this may sound good, it also means that once the current season is over, this mode will not get updated in the next season. NBA 2K23 got free on PS+ Essential on June 6th, 2023, when The Finals series between the Denver Nuggets, and Miami Heat was advanced to Game #3. There's a trophy namedΒ Β You're A StarΒ in which you must win a game in the NBA TODAY mode. Considering the series ended in Game #5 (June 13th, 2023) this was a short frame of time to get this mode out of the way, and was my number one priority as soon as the game was installed. Β MyTEAM: Similar to FIFA/EASFC Ultimate Team, MyTEAM allows you to build your fantasy 13-man line-up. MyTEAM was the longest grinding part of this list, thanks to two infamous trophies,Β Β Level UpΒ andΒ Β Deja Vu. Β Β Level UpΒ requires you to reach Level 40 in a single season, currently, we're in Season 9 - End Game where each seasonal challenge consists of End Game and Invincible cards and are active until the server shutdown. When I went for this trophy, the game was in Season 7, where each season lasted 6 weeks before a new one started. So there was a short time, and lots of MT needed to be ground to reach Level 40. I mostly switched between and played Triple Thread Offline and Clutch Time offline where Dark Matter Rush Ja Morrant and Evo All-Star Carmello Anthony (up to Dark Matter) were the cards to go for 4-pointers and 3-pointers. To make MT and get themed cards though, I've completed some Spotlight Challenges to earn free packs and kept "sniping" Dark Matters in Auction House, who had season challenges that granted XP, where you search for a lower price of a card's current value, and sell it at its current value or higher to make MT. Β Β Deja VuΒ requires you to play Unlimited mode, in which you have to reach 19,525 points during the given season. This trophy made me drop 2K23 until recently, where thanks to my boosting partner GuunnersX we've traded wins and got the mode cleared in around 20 hours (which was very boring to grind, I was constantly watching laptop tech reviews or some YouTube videos on the side lol). Here's a quick rundown strategy that we used in boosting: EnsuringΒ both users are in the same regionΒ whileΒ havingΒ a 13-man squad of Gold players, preferably a team rating of 70OVR or below. Once matched up, try to score as much as you can, until the clock reaches 3:45 in the first quarter. After that the losing side leaves the game, giving the winning side between 135-150 points. You can then rotate wins if you're boosting with a boosting partner Rinse and repeat until both of you reach 19,525 points. Β MyCAREER: I used a 6'7" Power Forward, Paint Beast build to unlock all MyCAREER trophies however the build free throw stats were horrendous at 52 where my build would just throw bricks like Shaquille O'Neal. For Offensive Rebounds and free throws, I've switched my difficulty from Rookie to All-Star so that I could get fouled when trying to score a layup, plus, my teammates would miss their shots more frequently (I was in Los Angeles Lakers and they score every point in Rookie difficulty, making Offensive Rebounds hard). For grinding VC (and fans alongside) to upgrade my builds stat, I've used the video below, which helped a lot (but was still boring...) and also my MyCAREER trophy build was created after watching this video. However, later down the road, to grind 1,000,000 fans I switched to playing full games later on (once I unlocked the rest of the MyCAREER trophies), where I aimed for double-doubles or triple-doubles in games, while also shooting 3-pointers to break the most 3-pointer and points scored in a game/total records etc. Β Β Edited May 2 by XxIsa-GxX bold & underlined words, typo

The Unlimited grind was actually way easier when the game first came out, which is not often the case! There was an option where you could player lock to one specific person on your team and just idle while the game played. I'm not bad at the game but I definitely appreciated not having to sweat (or boost) that much in the online. They patched it in season 2 so that if you idled while player-locked the game would end and you would get 0 points. The best part was that level 40 and unlimited would then auto-pop for the PS5 stack. Any plans to do 2k24 now that it is on PS+ Extra? Popular Post Koro249
Β Tier 2 update: Β Unravel Two: A co-op effort with @Mori, this game features some exciting time trials which i have grown to appreciate in games. Something very satisfying about seeing your time go lower and lower until you finally beat the required time. Giving each level a few tries, everything seemed within reach given enough patience. The first level can apparently be a little tricky but we found a neat glitch where you can manipulate the skateboard to launch you into the air in an unpredictable manner. After a few hilarious flings in the wrong direction, out of bounds, etc, we got the board to boost us forward, giving us plenty of time for the gold medal. Popular Post GraniteSnake
Β Fifth game which completes Tier 1 for this event, Team Sonic Racing (2.53%). Β Was in the mood for a racing game and opted for this, pretty solid choice I would say! It's your typical kart racer with a focus on teamwork, with the points tally being combined between you and your two AI teammates at the end of the race to determine the finishing places. I only had trouble with a few events, namely the survival races where obtaining the key's required you to finish the race without any of your team being eliminated. A couple of these were quite frustrating as you are at the mercy of the AI but I got there in the end. Rogue made lightwork of all of the challenge events, which I thought would give me a lot more trouble on my original playthrough. A fun little kart racer with a pretty straightforward platinum to boot, it gets my recommendation! Popular Post MrHealthy
Adr1ft Β Already 4 months passed and I am just getting around to my first completion. And it's not even one of the bounties I said I was gonna tackle. My priorities have just been elsewhere, mostly on PS+ games. Which this happens to be. It's leaving PS+ Extra later this month and I am a sci-fi fan so I had to check this out. Β Adr1ft (no idea why it has a 1 instead of an i) is a space walking sim after a disaster causes the destruction of the station you are on. You have to explore the wreckage to repair needed systems and eventually escape. The entire thing takes place in zero gravity, and after some initial struggle with the controls it clicks and is actually a really good movement system. And in a break from most walking sims you can die by running out of oxygen, which is also used to speed up movement, so you have to manage your route and oxygen levels. Β Unfortunately the story and the way it is delivered leaves a lot to be desired. It was honestly kind of a nothing burger compared to stuff like Observation, Deliver Us the Moon and Tacoma. The repairing parts of the station aspect is quite repetitive, and the different areas of the station are very samey with only a few unique elements. Β The ultra rare trophies are for finding all the collectibles, completing the game without dying, and weirdly a 2 hour speed run trophy. Β I ended up doing three playthroughs, 1st was blind for the story and to get a feel of the layout and controls in which I got the no death trophy. Then I did a second collectable playthrough. You don't need to do a second playthrough for this as it checkpoints you before the end and you can backtrack if you want, I just thought it was easier to do it over. The collectibles were simple enough, I could see them being a challenge for a lot of people as many struggle to navigate 3D spaces like this, but I have always excelled there so it was no problem. And the final playthrough was the speed run, which has a 2 hour limit, and it took about 1 hour and 40 mins. Again not difficult at this stage as I knew where to go and knew how to skip certain areas. Just a bit baffling that they included a speed run in a walking sim. Β Overall a mid experience. There are better games in the sci-fi walking sim genre. But not the worst experience ever. Something to look at if like me you can't get enough sci-fi, but not a must play by any means. I have been playing NBA on and off since 2011, and this is my first ever platinum for an NBA game ever! Yes I am aware of the crazy issues of this game, from the micro-transactions to the overall state and toxicity of the game. However I stay away from those parts as much as I can, and play what i feel for me most of the time. I've always loved basketball growing up and I am a big Kobe Bryant fan so it was more for him than me in a way. Basically I wanted this plat because I love the sport and Kobe being on the cover gave it a bigger meaning! Also I never had a sports platinum ever, maybe this will show that I'm a true basketball fan lol. Β As for the trophies, they are way easier than the last few NBAs, in this one is mostly grinding with the MyCareer mode and WNBA mode. The reason I didn't get this platinum sooner is because one of the Myteam trophies was to get 13 holo cards, and they are luck based. At that point I just had to wait till there was a better opportunity to get them! Overall the trophies aren't too bad, some trophies may require to try a little hard like the Mamba challenges and Myteam online. But it's not much of a concern anyways. Very glad to have to this one added to the collection Β Kobe/10 Rating 4/10 Difficulty 120 Hours Β Β
Popular Post Thedah
Tier 2 and Fight of Gods done! Β Time: 30 hours Difficulty: 5/10 if you have experience with fighting games or 7/10 if you have no experience with fighting games Β The plat consists of basically unlocking all the skins for the 15 characters in the game. You have to do 3 Very Hard arcade mode runs with one of them being done without continues as well as beating a challenge mode which is basically a single stage where you fight the final boss. This is good to practice before doing the no continues Very Hard arcade mode because if you fail on the final boss it's another 15-20 minutes to play through the arcade mode to fight the final boss again. Β The arcade mode for this game can't be scummed by having a 2nd player join when you're about to die so you really only have one chance to do it. Arcade mode consists of 10 stages with the first 8 stage being randomly selected characters you fight against, stage 9 being a mirror match, and stage 10 being the final boss. Β The final boss is extremely cheap. It has 3 times the HP amount of your character and can kill you in a couple of combos. Thankfully, there is a way to cheese the arcade mode for 10 out of the 15 characters by throw looping the CPU over and over again. For the 5 characters that can't throw loop you will have to learn a bread and butter combo and play defensively against the final boss and punish him with a bread and butter combo. Popular Post Copanele
Ok, all lists should be updated now. Let me know if I missed someone.
