I think I bought the NA game on a sale for 4 or 5$ when they still did those on ps3. Many thanks for the advice! Unfortunately getting a hold of a US-version of the game in Germany comes quite close to just buying the DLC. But since I am having a great time with the game so far, it doesn't hurt that much. March Update Since it's been over a month since my last update and I will not complete any game relevant for this event anytime soon, I thought I give a little update and claim Final Fantasy XV [EU] for my second Tier before its final UR-trophy turns "very-rare". I have no idea why the rarities for this game keep rising this rapidly but in January this game still had three UR-trophies. Besides from this I have been playing quite a few different games but haven't completed any: Inertial Drift [PS5] has been whooping my a** like only very few racing games ever did. @Destructor-8 If you are looking for a serious racing-challenge Inertial Drift is your next mission… at this point I would say that this is beyond Trackmania difficulty wise. I also started Sonic Mania hoping to finally complete my first bounty but those Blue Sphere Stages are a big pain and the entire game is far more difficult than the guide suggests: More like a 7-8 than a 4 and the suggested 15 hours can also very well take twice as long for many. Popular Post Shrooba
Finished my 3rd game for my tier, Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds Finally went ahead and finsihed this one! 😅 Got the online done way back in 2023, and left it on standby since, until now. Back in 2023, I hadn't planned on starting this, but since @Copanele had brought it up and introduced me to a fantastic community of people who organize the 8-player lobby trophy every now and then, I figured it'd be a great opportunity to dive in! On a related note, I remember playing the Orange Box, a collection of Valve games released on the 360 and PS3, and there was an achievement where you had to play TF2 with I believe 7 friends. Knowing the pain of accomplishing something like that long since it's release, I figured this would be my one shot at doing MVC3, and so I took it! I'd again like to thank @Copanele with helping with the online trophies after having already done it all. 🫡 I don't know if its a blessing or a curse, because the servers are somehow still up... but I assume its the result of a monkey's paw wish, because it does NOT like connecting you with your partner in Ranked! 😂 Copanele had a ton of patience, but after a few days it just wouldn't let us, and I didn't wanna pester him or anything, so we settled for the other online content to get done. After that, I was introduced to a friendly individual who achieved the illustrious 1st Rank placement, allowing me to get not only the Combat Specialist trophy, which you either have to reach yourself (this takes a very, very long time!), or simply beat someone who has it, but they also went ahead and took the time to help with the 5 wins and Fighter rank as well! In this scenario, I'm a bit torn because on one hand I'd love to directly ping them in thanks, but I'm not entirely sure if they're still helping people and I don't exactly want them to get swarmed since this was a year ago, just in case! 😅 Online aside, you've got the usual stuff for a fighting game: the arcade playthrough(s), and the combo trials. Luckily in this game, the first 6 and even sometimes 7 combos for each character is relatively simple. The only ones that border on challenging are 8, 9 and 10 for each character (although sometimes their earlier challenges are harder). All in all, unless you've somehow got the DLC characters before they got delisted years ago, you'll need to finish 88.88% of all trials, being 320 in total. I believe UMvC3 is the harder game, but again, one of my main reasons for hopping onto this one specifically was because of the opportunity to get that pesky online done! 😅 I don't know if it's simply because I'm more accustomed to ArcSys fighters, but man, I swear this game has nailed the forbidden art of gaslighting you into thinking you pressed the wrong buttons mid-combo! 😂 I will say, it was definitely jarring going from stuff like BlazBlue, DB FighterZ and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax where the combos directly state the required buttons for each corresponding move, whereas here you're given the move names alone, and gotta memorize it. I guess it was actually quite cool being able to get the hang of doing combos without being guided too much visually speaking. Although I gotta say, most of the time during combos, my eyes are practically glued to the left side of the screen. This is really with fighting games in general for me, but sometimes combos require some pretty strict timing, and often in the string of fast-executed moves, you could've failed a combo without realizing it, so I usually like to look to the combo orders and not often the actual character themselves to quickly pinpoint the precise move I'm messing up... is that weird? It works for me. 😂 Well, I was able to get Tager done in CPEX and a certain DLC character done in P4AU by doing it like that, so it's a tried and true method for me! I digress.😂 Apart from that, you've got the good ol' arcade mode, and it will be old, and perhaps not so good, after replaying it for nearly the 40th time in a row! 😂 Yup, you've gotta beat the arcade mode, 7 fights in a row each, with every single character in the game. Since it's 3v3 like DB FighterZ, I thought it would've made more sense to simply have three character endings shown for each arcade completion, but I suppose it conflicts since the ending is either good or bad, depending on if you get the final hit on Galactus with a more heroic or villainous character. It does have it's charm though, with some pretty cool scenarios with Marvel and Capcom characters, especially Amaterasu! It does get a bit grindy doing multiple playthroughs, but you've always got some neat interactions to look forward to at the end of every run. But yeah! That's pretty much it I think. In any case, I've since continued GTA 4. Already finished the main game, but I'll be diving into the story expansions this time, The Lost and Damned, and The Ballad of Gay Tony respectively. I hear TBoGT especially is quite fantastic, so I look forward to it! 1. Trackmania 2020 (PS5) - 1.10% - DONE 2. Jet Car Stunts (PS3) - 4.37% - DONE 3. Only 3 rides are available for the free 2 play players. Each track has 3 modes. Story, Race and Shooting Range. 1 trophy in each mode except the race stuff where I spent most of my time. Main focus is complete 100 races. Each being like minute and a half. GAME PICTURE HAS SPONGEBOB ON IT. YOU WOULD THINK THAT HE IS IN THE BASE GAME, BUT NAH. SPONGEBOB STUFF IS DLC. A SOMEWHAT EXPENSIVE DLC AT THAT. Slightly disappointing, but I got an E letter UR plat for my UR non-plat alphabet so I aint complaining. Beat Saber PS5 6/10,30 hours (personal rating) 8/10, 30 hours (guide rating) I did the PS4 stack for last years UR Cleanup so I wont go that much into detail. Basically I did the campaign in like 2-3 hours, and then the full combos and S ranks in like 8 hours. + Some Misc stuff I got to like 12-ish hours and I was done with everything skill based....... I checked my stats. It said 33 million total score... out of the 100 million thats required for 1 of the trophies. And again like I said 12-ish hours on the playtime... out of the 24 hours thats required for a trophy. So.. yea. I had to do 10+ hour of grinding songs I had already mastered on the PS4 version. That.... wasnt as fun as the 1st time. Not the worst thing ever, but quite unnecessary. There is a lot of DLC songs of popular artists, but each song is 2 euros so I only bought a few. And for getting max rank in Online. And that took around 15 hours. I dont think im gona do PS3 version for this lol Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion 100% This was not bad really. But need to Completely follow a guide for all 4 Playthroughs from the very start to the end of each playthrough. Lots of UR trophies 🤩 Ziggurat EU 100% Most Wanted List (10 Points) Ziggurat NA 100% Most Wanted List I really liked Ziggurat. It's same type as Tower of Guns. Each run is random generated. As every run is completly different even enemies spawn. you require to do 17 Playthroughs. Sounds boring but i didnt get bored and i managed to do it on NA version right after. Last Year i ended up doing total of 65 Ultra rare games. Not sure if i can do that agein. But we will see. Tier 2 Done! PUBG: Battlegrounds (NA) 100% - My second time doing it Really fun with friends. And the stats/gear/skins carry over from EU version to NA. But every trophy need to be done all over agein. I would have done it a 3rd time if there were another Momonga Pinball Adventures 100% - My first ever Pinball game. Well this wasn't bad except 2 levels i were stuck for about 1 hour on both of them. Not sure if im gona do any other Pinball game. Not my cup of tea All Zombies Must Die! 100%- A short zombie game like Dead nation but a lot worst. Im happy it was short tho Pox Nora 100% - This was very confusing how the game works. So many cards/Decks to choose from. Eventually i got an understanding. Koro249
I would like to sign up to the event for this year again. Iirc, last year you were able to retroactively add games if you have completed them in the year of the event, even if you weren't registered then. Is this still possible this year or am I remembering it wrong? Either way is fine, happy hunting everyone.

Popular Post Koro249
1 hour ago, Copanele said: Heyo! No, it only counts from the moment of signing up if you completed UR games before signing up, those don't count unfortunately Alright, guess I missed 3 months then. Well, next year I'll make sure to sign up on time! Since I already completed 5 UR games this year and I would like to share my impressions on them, I'll just post my "Tier 0", recognizing that it won't count towards my score (I hope that's fine). So here's my Tier 0: Elite Dangerous: Space exploration game with a 1:1 scale of our galaxy. You might think that everything must be pretty empty, randomly generated and all the planets will be completely lack luster and you'd be correct. This didn't exactly feel like a game, more like a bunch of menus and a waiting sim. Wouldn't recommend unless you really wanted to know what it's like to be bored in space. At least the rarity is nice. The game is also quite complex and as a newcomer everything will seem overwhelming. I spent my first 20 hours mainly browsing wikis to make sense of anything. Enjoyment: 2/10, Difficulty: 4/10, Playtime: 300h R.U.S.E.: Quite old, yet fun strategy game and one of the rarest still obtainable platinums on PS3. While nowadays this will probably not be a good suggestion for someone who wants to dip their toe into RTS, I will say I still got quite a bit of fun out of it. It was also one of the more challenging games I've done, especially the coop operations were quite brutal. The game has some clunk, wird bugs and sometimes it seemed like your troops just straight up didn't wanna listen to you which lowered my overall enjoyment a little. Enjoyment: 6/10, Difficulty: 7/10, Playtime: 50h Don't Bite Me Bro!: A free and very short zombie survival game with rudimentary pixel graphics. It doesn't have much to offer but for what it's worth I didn't mind the little time I've spent here. Enjoyment: 5/10, Difficulty: 3/10, Playtime: 3h Helldivers: The game concept is quite unique, with there not really being a story or an end-game to work towards. Instead, you can team up with up to 4 players to defeat hordes of enemies while attempting to complete randomly generated objectives. You can choose between 15 difficulty settings and bring a large variety of different equipment on your journey. It gets quite crazy on the higher difficulties and what the game really just comes down to being a contest of showing off your skill, which apparently captivated quite a reasonable community. While I really enjoyed the gameplay, I personally felt like the game didn't have enough to offer to warrant someone playing this for more than a couple of hours with their friends. Unfortunately, the trophies basically force you to play hundreds of levels and the fun was quickly gone for me. I would rate the enjoyment of the game itself 7/10, but here I really felt like the trophies worked against the fun. Enjoyment: 4/10, Difficulty: 4/10, Playtime: 100h MotoGP 10/11: After putting together a group of 20 players about a year ago to get this (and 09/10s) infamous 20 player race trophy, I was dreading trying to go for the insane difficulty career clears. Online conncetivity on this one was actually fine, we got all people through in our first session (on 09/10 this was a nightmare, 8+ sessions since people would always get kicked or freeze). However, we felt like for some reason the physics in this one behaved quite a lot worse than in its prequel, making the driving quite awkward. After putting it on hold I finally decided to tackle the non difficulty related trophies first and it turned out it was quite possible to get used to the handling. Once I only had the "Insane" trophies left, it was suddenly quite easy to get those. Enjoyment: 4/10, Difficulty: 5.5/10, Playtime: 30h Overall, it looks like my last couple months were pretty miserable tropy-wise 😅. My goal for this year is to focus more on stuff that I actually enjoy. At least I am playing Assetto Corsa Competizione right now, which sparked my interest in sim-racing!
Popular Post VersusCA
I'll go ahead and lock in the three Tomb Raider PS4 platinums as ultra rare since they have now been out for exactly 1 month. Currently the rarities are 3.88 (Tomb Raider 1), 2.61 (Tomb Raider 2), and 0.52 (Tomb Raider 3). Popular Post Cruscah
Tier 2 completed: Carnival Games VR (0.46%) 100% Olympic Winter Games: Vancouver 2010 (4.71%) 100% Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break (3.03%) 100% Sniper Elite 3 (3.66% / 1.59%) 100% World War Z: Aftermath (4.00%) 100% Carnival Games VR is fun to play, but very frustating to trophy hunt. For the 100% you need to get three stars in every carnival game and, while most of them are fair and you actually have to get better, some are just stupid. The worst one for me was Alley Ball, it's very hard to be consistent with the flaws of the VR headset. Vancouver 2010 provided a decent challenge, even though it was much easier than London 2012, you need to get a gold medal at every event and complete all the challenges in the game. The gold medals were mostly easy, I only had trouble with Bobsleigh and Aerials (because the AI was too good and the controls are bad, respectively). As for the challenges, Do Not Touch and Lap It Up were the hardest of the bunch. Unfortunately, Rock of Ages 3 is a broken mess. Some game modes do not work properly, the game crashes a lot, your boulder can get stuck on the ground and the list of issues goes on. Despite everything, I had a great time with it and, if you liked one of the first two games, I'd recommend it, it's the one with most content in the trilogy. The online trophies can be done in less than 3 hours with two controllers and nothing is particularly hard. Sniper Elite 3 was alright, I did the hardest difficulty with a friend, but it seemed to be very doable solo. The way that checkpoints work in authentic is dumb, some missions have them right at the start and some don't have a checkpoint at all. The rest is easy, thank god that the collectibles aren't like SE4. I've played World War Z with some friends and it was super fun, killing zombies is as satisfying as it gets. Insane difficulty can be made easier thanks to modifiers, some missions are still difficult, but doable after a few tries. The rest of the list is just a grind, around 30 hours of doing almost the same thing over and over again. The PS5 version also has some weird issues with trophies unlocking, but afaik there are no cases of the platinum being unobtainable. --- What's next? EA FC 24 will be my next UR platinum, I was just waiting for the new UT season to start the grind. GTAV might be in my next tier as well, it's the next game that I'll be working with my friends. The rest will hopefully be some cleanup on my profile, time to stop being lazy and learn Mein Leben strategies.

Since the trophies for the game are split into 4 different activities, I’ll talk about each of them separately. Campaign Cold War is a narrative continuation of Black Ops 1, set 20 years later during the height of the Cold War in the 80s, and I’m happy to report the campaign is just as great as BO1. The story is great and features multiple endings, there’s a lot of interesting characters introduced, and you get to create your own backstory for your operator which was a nice touch. There’s also a central hideout which you return to in between missions to interact with your team and try and piece together evidence and clues collected during the missions in order to advance the story. For an FPS game, you actually spend a surprising amount of time with your guns holstered, but these moments are pretty great. By far highlight of the entire campaign was a mission where you go undercover in the infamous Lubyanka building of the KGB headquarters, and have multiple ways to achieve your objectives. The trophies were quite typical for CoD, but I was happy to find it is probably the easiest CoD title on Veteran difficulty that I’ve played to date. Multiplayer There’s only 5 mp trophies in the game, but they’re quite grindy so I spent a lot of time here. “Party Patrol” is the worst trophy by far and will easily be a platinum blocker for many people. The trophy itself isn’t too bad, but it requires you to play in a game mode called ‘Fireteam’ which is completely dead and requires at minimum 32 players to start. Boosting this trophy was by far the largest and most chaotic boost session I’ve ever been in. We had 100 people in the chat and it took 2 full Saturdays and almost 20 hours in total to get everybody their trophies. Theres also a trophy for 100 vehicle kills which is a little tricky because all the game modes with vehicles are dead. Thankfully, scorestreak kills with the RC-XD count as vehicle kills, so this can be grinded out slowly alongside the 50 game wins you need. But unfortunately this meant pretty much being forced to play Nuketown 24/7 the entire time which got boring fast. The mp is very active (at least in this one mode), but pretty much everyone playing nowadays is lvl 2500/prestiged sweaty kid with maxed out guns & playing on PC, so grinding wins and vehicle kills took longer than they probably should have. Definitely my least favourite part of this game, although I still had fun for much of it. Zombies Now this is where the real fun was at! Almost all the trophies take place on one map called ‘Die Maschine’, which happens to be a much larger version of ‘Nacht der Untoten’ — the very first CoD zombies map ever back in World at War! I thought that was super cool. The Easter Egg was insanely fun and tells the story of how the zombie plague was originally created by Nazi scientists, which is a fantastic throwback to the origins of the game mode that changed CoD forever. I had such a great time learning this EE and was able to run it solo with ease. After coming from the brutal 2-hit down system of BO1, Cold War was such a breath of fresh air. Mechanically speaking, this might be the best zombies has ever been. Everything feels so smooth, and it’s infinitely easier to survive with the addition of armour and the ability to spawn into the game with a preset weapons load out. The Tier 5 Gallo SA12 shotgun absolutely demolishes everything. There’s also 2 new currencies introduced: zombies constantly drop “salvage” which can be used at workbenches to craft a huge number of items from health, to grenades, armor/weapon upgrades, to literal score streaks from multiplayer! (cruise missiles, chopper gunner etc.) The 2nd currency is in the form of aetherium crystals which you get from either exfiltrating at high rounds, killing bosses, or playing other zombies modes like the open world mode Outbreak. These crystals are used to permanently upgrade your perks, field items, and proficiency with each weapon type, so your characters gets stronger and stronger the more you play the zombies mode. There was also 3 DLC trophies for playing a separate mode called Onslaught which wasn’t too bad, although grinding the 7 gold chalices took awhile. Dead Ops Arcade 3 All that really needs to be said here is THANK GOD for the new FPS Solo Advanced Start mode. Defeating the Mamaback used to be one of the hardest trophies in CoD history as it required playing in the top-down, twin-stick arcade mode for 64 rounds and then killing the boss. This was a gruelling marathon that took 3-4 hours and when you died, you had to start over and do it all again. At some point the devs took pity on us and added an Advanced Start mode which saves a checkpoint every 5 rounds and allows you to start from your furthest progress when you die. Then even more recently they added the ability to play in First Person Mode which is 10x easier than the classic twin stick mode. Not only can you be more accurate, but you can actually survive several hits before going down making it infinitely easier. The only trade off is that you have to do it alone, but this was no problem. There were a couple tough arenas and the last checkpoint (61-64) is bit tricky until you get lucky with some rng drops, but otherwise it was a cinch. I never would have been able to platinum this the way it used to be.
Popular Post Honor_Hand
So yeah, I am still alive and participating in this event. I remembered about it the other day after being completely oblivious to the games I had originally selected several weeks ago. That's just how I roll, lol. Anyway, I am swapping Shift 2: Unleashed from my list and adding F1 Race Stars instead. I found myself playing this one over the last few days owing to the server closure that's going to be happening in a few days. Completed the whole thing, including its DLC. And would you look at that, I didn't know it was UR. Makes sense given how cheap the AI was at times. I'll delve deeper into it in a future post when the time comes. But yeah, first UR I've completed for this event... in March. I will try to do some of the other games on my list in the next few weeks. Either Rogue Warrior or Carmageddon: Max Damage. I'll see.

Popular Post MD_91
Tier 1 1. The Sims 3 (3.12%) First UR of the year, nothing difficult just a bit grindy. I'd seen a lot of people say they had issues with the trophies being glitchy and not unlocking, thought this wasn't going to be a problem for me until it happened with the last trophy I needed but thankfully I'd been making back up saves and it unlocked when I reloaded the game and did the requirement again. Not expecting to get a lot of UR's this year, Gran Turismo 5 has been taking up a lot of my time in the last couple months because I'm trying to get gold on the Vettel challenges without resorting to a glitch that makes them easy, I've already done 2 of the 3 (Monza was easy but Nurburgring took me about 40 hours of practice) but I've put at least 60 hours of practice into Suzuka and still not done it (you need 2:10:000 and my best is 2:10:180), part of me is determined to do it legit but another part of me just wants to get it out of the way knowing I could be putting all these hours into other games.
CabDK
@CopaneleIf I have the platinum in a game, but haven't done the DLC. Is the game eligible for the event? The DLC has Ultra rare trophies. Edit: It's XCOM 2, I never felt like doing the DLC, but maybe the bounty is the extra motivation I need. Edited March 16 by CabDK

You have to 100% the game unfortunately 😁only the platinum is not enough. Exceptions to that are unachievable trophies/delisted stuff

What I ment was, if I complete the DLC and getting 100% during the event, but already have the platinum before the event. Edit: From reading the rules it seems like it is eligible. I just wasn't 100% sure. Edited March 16 by CabDK

Would have started Xcom1 but one DLC is delisted from what I heard, which is a shame

I was so angry when I typed up that post. Glad you at least still found some enjoyment from the experience.
