Popular Post Mr_Fluffy_Pants_
126 & 127 - Crisis Wing Ps4/Ps5 I have always enjoyed shoot ‘em ups, even though I have never been great at them (or they are just difficult games in general) so when I heard this was an easy one to platinum I thought I’d give it a try. Not really what I’d call overly easy but definitely not difficult either, I managed to pull it off. Would recommend.

Popular Post GothGirlMaxine
Platinum #1083 - Knack I started this game back in 2016, when I got my first PS4, but I never got round to finishing it until now. Sadly I had to start from scratch but hey, 4 and bit playthroughs later, and I finished the platinum. 9th platinum overall and 3rd ultra rare platinum of 2023!

Popular Post Robee2k2
#20 God of War: Ascension Difficulty: 4/10 (would probably be a 2 or 3/10 without the trial of archimedes) Rating / Enjoyment: 8/10 Time: I played it on ps plus premium so it didn't count my hours, but i'd say it is about 15 hours Grind: 1/10 PSNP Rarity: 13.46% I already had the platinum for God of war (2018) and Ragnarok so I wanted to platinum all of the ps3 god of war games as well (since i don't have a ps3, i will only play the games from ps plus premium) and started playing them in story order. Can't say ascension is my favorite, but it's not as bad as everyone says. The only part that was a bit frustrating was the trial of archimedes because there are no checkpoints and in my first 3 attempts, when i got to the second floor it bugged and i had to start from the begging. Overall i think it's a pretty good game and even a bit underrated.

Popular Post StraightVege
Trophy Hunter #329 (Ultra Rare 4.61%) It's the most innovative shooter I've played in years! SUPER HOT SUPER HOT SUPER HOT Memes aside, it's really a true statement! In this inventive deconstruction of the FPS genre, you play a role in the extremely trippy, metanarrative shenanigans, as a fictionalized version of yourself: The Player. Boredly sitting in front of your old PC on the game's diegetic main menu, a friend suddenly sends you a pirated version of superhot.exe, that cool new VR game everyone's been talking about. Upon booting it up for the first time, you quickly find yourself hopelessly addicted to a minimalist murder simulator, where you're abruptly dropped into a variety of interesting white room combat scenarios against featureless, red human figures assailing your position. Seems that they all want you dead for whatever reason, and they spectacularly shatter into crystalline shards when shot or struck. It's actually a bit unsettling. As the situations escalate, it rapidly becomes apparent that there's something sinister afoot, and this might be more than just another video game, yet efforts to pry yourself away from playing it are futile regardless; you're hooked now, like it or not. Superhot clearly has something to say about player agency and video game violence, thus I found myself thoroughly absorbed in my starring role as The Player, motivated to push forward through level after level. That said, their commitment to presenting the narrative in this style, while admirable, did mildly annoy me here and there, because there are several points where you're locked into the game unless you dashboard. I've got stuff to do in the real world sometimes, folks, so a pause button would be appreciated. Just a minor gripe, though. The unique twist making Superhot foremost a puzzle game is how time passes at a snail's pace, unless you're moving or acting in some manner, during which everything occurs at normal speed. They move when you move, and you both die in a single hit. It's all about taking some time to methodically figure out how to maximize your every little movement to best deal with the encroaching enemies, avoid their bullets frozen in mid-air, and finally kill every last one of them. Thankfully, this is not a rigid game whatsoever, as there are a multitude of improvisational solutions to survive every stage. The stellar sound design also assists greatly, providing tons of useful information, such as the click of a gun when a foe is aiming their weapon at you from behind, and glass breaking when your shot hits that distant target. Battles never felt unfair that I can recall. After a lifetime of playing standard shooter titles, I initially found adjusting to the gameplay here a challenging endeavor, but it didn't take long before everything clicked, and I was pulling off impressive feats that would be almost impossible in a typical FPS. The first time you blast one guy, fling your empty gun into the face of another for a stun, grab the initial dude's pistol out of the air to shoot him with, then slow-motion jump away from incoming bullets, it feels wonderfully exhilarating and satisfying—almost like you're choreographing your own slick shootout scene in an action movie. Returning to generic shooters after this will be tough! While there are sparsely few firearms and melee weapons available in the game—a handgun, shotgun, automatic rifle, katana sword, and miscellaneous items, such as baseball bats and glass bottles—more really wasn't necessary, because it utilizes what it has so well. You can also simply pummel those red bastards with your fists, which is effective enough to beat the entire game unarmed, surprisingly. A powerful new ability called Hotswitch is unlocked later on, too, allowing you to teleport into an enemy's body, both eliminating them as a threat and putting you into a more favorable position. For what it's trying to accomplish, the game is nearly perfect, with my only real complaint being the occasionally weird collision. Those moments when a bullet or thrown item appears like it's on a clear path to hit the targeted enemy, but instead harmlessly strikes a corner or object can be frustrating, not to mention get you killed. This issue is especially noticeable when you're platforming to reach out of the way collectible terminals, and you just can't seem to land on that darn ledge successfully. Not a particularly big deal, of course, but irritating enough to mention. Altogether, Superhot was one of the most compelling games (and pieces of art) I've had the pleasure of experiencing throughout my 35 years in this hobby, and I'm ashamed to have slept on it until recently. Despite playing through the game at least 15 times before the platinum popped, I couldn't remember one instance of feeling bored, so I simply had to purchase the stand-alone expansion immediately, which I'll talk about another day. Piotr Iwanicki and his team conceived of such an ingeniously fun concept here, that I'll surely be on the lookout for whatever it is they produce in the future. It's stuff like this that makes gaming worthwhile. Good dog, keep working. Edited May 7, 2023 by StraightVege

GUDGER666
320. By far the most broken game I've ever played, pretty disgraceful that the Devs or Sony haven't said anything with this being a PS Plus game. The next game I play will feel amazing after this experience.

Popular Post Moridin83
#265 Gravel This game is so aggressively mediocre it's hard to even have strong feelings about it. It would take more effort to actively dislike this game than anyone seems to have put in to it. The announcers sound like they're on valium, the soundtrack is the most generic late 90s hard rock/crap metal you'll ever hear, and the vehicle differences seem to only be cosmetic. If the devs had taken all the money spent on licensing real world vehicles, and licensed a soundtrack instead, it may have been slightly less monotonous to grind out the last ranks for the plat, but the only reason you should play this is if you need something braindead for when you want to game, but don't want to think really at all. That's why I did it, and I'm still not sure I don't regret it. Like I said though, it's rarely ever actively bad, it's just dull, which in my opinion is much worse. Not recommended.

Wonderful game and very beautiful and colourful. I’ll definitely have to check out rift apart and perhaps even go back to see what some of the ps3 ratchet and clanks are like. What game should I start tomorrow I wonder, Jedi Fallen Order or Days Gone

Popular Post ZombieSlayaMr
#17 - Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Definitive Edition 20 Hours | 7/10 Enjoyment | 2/10 Difficulty Kingping Vice City is my least favorite out of the trilogy to fully complete, especially since I recently completed this game on PC just a few months ago, but I wanted the platinum for it on PS5 so here we are. The game isn't too difficult, about 20ish hours with a few difficult missions towards the end. Had to redo the last mission twice since I tried to stack the final three trophies at the end, but only the one for completing the final mission popped and not the 100% or Platinum. Luckily, completing it again unlocked the platinum. Overall pretty easy platinum to pickup if the Trilogy is ever on sale. (Actually I'm pretty sure Vice City is part of the Game Catalogue too.)
Popular Post Larzz
Platinum #221 Immortals Fenyx Rising Fantastic game! One of the few games where I loved doing all the puzzles, they never get too difficult, which would make it frustrating, nor do they get too easy, which would make it too boring. Trophy wise it’s a pretty standard “do and collect almost everything” Ubisoft list, but it never felt like a chore. Sincerely hope we’ll get a sequel someday. Lordguwa
platinum #701 Gravel (ps4) completed in 2 days and 20 hours platinum rarity 38.17% uncommon platinum name: Gravel Hero hardest trophy: Like a Train: maintain high speed for 40 seconds out of the hardest challenges for this game. the hardest ones are 2 of the smash up challenges with those targets (they require absolute precision and need very few mistakes to beat it on very easy) otherwise the grind wasn't too bad for the last 25 ranks. can use the drift method on the ice track if really good or repeat the 2nd championship over and over again. next game is Breakneck City (ps4) this one shouldn't take very long.
