Popular Post Moridin83
#264 Crysis 2 Remastered There is a simple way to judge if you'll enjoy this game. Did you like Crysis? Would you like more, but with slightly thicker tissue paper for armor? If you answered yes to both, you'll enjoy this. Otherwise, probably give this a pass. It's not the best shooter in the world, and on the higher difficulties, full stealth is still basically the only viable option for large parts of the game. It's a short plat though, so if you want to play a shooter, and you are as tired of dealing with MP and Horde mode trophies as I am, this is a decent option. The collectible aren't too bad (IGN has a good text guide if you don't like video), and one playthrough plus an hour or so of cleanup will see you with a shiny new plat for your profile. Mildly recommended.
Popular Post No longer here
#196 and 100% - The Last of Us Remastered Rating/Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10 (Grounded Mode) Time: 60 Hours PSNP Rarity: 5.15% PSN Rarity: 0.4% Alright guys, we all know this game is a landmark for gaming and always will be. If anyone had a top ten list of their favorite games ever, this game is pretty much guaranteed to be top three. I am only saying this cause it took me 5 and a half years to platinum and 100% the game. Why did I wait so long? Wish I knew, I was a much different person years ago, and not a smart one lol. But yeah in 2023 standards, gameplay is amazing and goes well within the environments and setting of the game perfectly, that is why grounded mode felt awesome, felt so surreal! The story, the characters, the writing, the tone.... all masterfully done and has set the high bar since! Probably PS3's greatest title ever, and probably PS4 as well cause of the remastered. For a game that has a lot of walking, it works well because it is well paced, and the dialogue is always intriguing in some way. So for someone who plays a lot of games, this still holds up as the top dog, I'll be surprised if no one played this game, but I get it, it is still a very dark and emotionally devastating game 10 years after it's initial release. This is one of those games you must play, a game that elevates itself to an unforgettable experience. *Yes I plat Last of Us 2 before this don't harass me lol

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #279 FreezeME THE FREEZENATOR! Get all the previous trophies well that sucked, I expected little, but… let’s see if I can word this in a way that makes sense. It’s actually not as bad as I thought, but it has issues which make it worse than if it was just outright bad. Since it’s so close to decent, but yet the failed. it’s like a bad A Hat in Time. let’s start with praising Yevon you don’t have to do 100% of the game. Anyway, the “freeze” mechanic is hilariously the worst part. It’s slow and cumbersome and doesn’t work well for what you need to use it for most of the time. And you forget it’s there most of the time since it’s not necessary usually. the platforming itself is actually close to good, except that it will often eat inputs. It’s way too easy to do a quick direction jump like Mario 64 and it controls like ass and will make you die or fall every time. The final level really shows how shitty the camera is, how broken aspects like grabbing a ledge, and just other issues, there’s some falling platforms and I would land, jump but instead do the double jump so u had to stand still for it to properly register landing even though I double jumped already. There’s a moving platform that you must duck on to go under a wall, it multiple times didn’t register me on it so it would move and I would be stuck standing still and have to move myself with it and you crawl so slow you die. the double jump and dash didn’t work if you fall a certain distance after te first jump which is always shit platforming controls. You can do a kick the whole fall however. They were so close with the base platforming, it’s so disappointing. the art at least for the environment looks great and like the 90s inspired it is meant to be. Character design however is absolute trash. Character platformers with bad character designs make me extra sad. At least Woodle Tree nailed that. level design isn’t that bad overall, but some sections suck. It is structured like Mario 64 in many ways. and my god the length of time it takes to go back to a world after getting a cube is so annoying, you’re put back at the start. It’s like being put outside the castle after every star on Mario 64. Granted this hub isn’t nearly as bad. There’s three full worlds, and a mini one where the final boss is. I almost thought I could skip the whole game with the trophy list being so basic but flying requires beating the boss who needs 24 cubes to get to. If they made another I might try it if they improved on this one. I gave Woodle Tree a second chance and it failed me, but I guess I hate myself. ?♂️

GUDGER666
319. For me this was even worse than 21, EA for you that, it's such a lazy copy and paste. All they have done is removed story mode and replaced it with the terrible supercars mode. Performance on PS4 Pro is poor, lots of frame drops and screen tearing. Game also crashed about 20 times, this is the only game on PS4 I've ever had multiple crashes happen. I paid 79pnfor EA Play to play 21&22 so that's 39.5p per game.... Just about what they are worth. It did not take EA long to kill this franchise. Game 2/10. Fun 3/10
Popular Post Wurstmann69
#69 - Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I got my first RE7 trophy on release date of the game in January 2017. I bought the game together with my PSVR headset and it was the most horrific gaming experiance I've ever and most likely will ever experiance. I was too scared to even finish the story on casual difficulty. 6 years later - a wanted to give it a new try. I put on my headset again but followed a platinum guide on Youtube. Again it was horrific at first but knowing where all the monsters are and that I will not be getting attacked from behind eventho my 3D audio tells me, made the whole situation bearable. After the first of 3 playthroughs I was hyped and finished both the speedrun and the hardest difficulty each in a single sitting. RE7 is a masterpiece in the first half of the game and a good action game in the second half. Overall I am proud and happy that I got it done. RE: Village is next. Unfortunately I don't own a PSVR2. Popular Post theSpirae
Platinum #70 Time Played 45 hours Difficulty 4/10 Rating 8/10 Source PS Extra I'll be slowly catching up on updating this thread with the recent Platinums. It seems I've been slacking! It's no secret I'm a big fan of the regular Plus, the former Now, and the current Extra. I always managed to get these subs at a discount. I mean, PS Plus Premium for approx $60 per year? I stocked up ( this was due to Now discount prices later the service being converted to Premium). I'm getting so many games from this service I want to play I can't keep up. Ghost of Tsushima - is there anything that hasn't been said about it? Anyone who hasn't at least heard about it? I loved it and I plan to replay it again (I'm missing two or three trophies for 100%). One of the best storytelling in a setting we don't get to see often. Visual (both graphics and aesthetics are one of the best). The sound, music, etc it's all 10/10. So why I'm rating it "only" 8? I feel the gameplay is dragging behind when it comes to improvement. Games are looking better and better but they still play like 10 years old titles. Not just game mechanics, but also the quests. The amount of time one of the characters mentioned "Oh, I know this fort, we used to play there as kids, there's a gap in the western section of the wall". In 20 years no one has noticed and it's still there. If it was used once, I wouldn't mind, but this happened on more than one occasion. Some of the quests are still poorly written, dialogues sometimes read like bad fan fiction. It's just little things but they break the impression and remind you quite often "This is still a game, the same you played 10 years ago, it just looks better". Outside of my little rant, one of the best games I've played recently. This is a must play Edited November 26, 2023 by theSpirae

Popular Post AgentSmiz
Platinum 164: Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom Fun, if not a little flawed, throwback to the old school platforming days. Art style is very charming and the soundtrack is full of catchy, ear worm style tunes. Gameplay is a side scroller metroidvania with a lot of backtracking to previous areas, which can take a while initially but once you get more abilities, it's less of a challenge and more of a chore to go through. Game itself is relatively easy but has some challenging sections, with a couple of quite frustrating ones - mostly timed/racing - that took more tries than I would have liked and the failures didn't feel all my fault. Things like being in the lead in a racing section only for the opponent to instantly jump in front, knock me off a ledge and have to restart it. Overall though, it was a fun diversion. Trophy list is fairly easy to do and requires pretty much 100% the game. Ended up following a guide for a lot of it toward the end just to cut down on the backtracking.
Popular Post slender_adrian
- Blasphemous - #121 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Grind: 2/10 Time: 59 hours Rarity: [Ultra Rare 1.9% / Rare 12.45%] "Vuestra penitencia ha terminado." I discovered this game thanks to Elden Ring, but I didn't gave it a shot until now. I saw a video about the cultural and artistic influences that Blasphemous had and I absolutely got fascinated by it. Saying this game is another mediocre clone of the Souls games (aka a soulslike) is not making justice to the incredible game Blasphemous is all by itself. Sure it has a lot of influence of the souls and metroidvania games but overall Blasphemous is a unique game in al respects. One of my favorite aspects about this game is the art style it has, I absolutely love this games artistic style and the world of Blasphemous as a whole, this mix of Spanish culture with a gothic, dark fantasy tone is my cup of tea haha. As for the story I reached the ending pretty much not knowing why haha, the story is told through item descriptions and I really liked that type of story telling (I played it on Spanish and it was pretty good, really made the game more on point). As for the difficulty the game is pretty balanced to be fair, as for my experience is not very challenging but not to easy. Since this is a independent game it had a lot of changes throughout it's cycle, I heard this game was a bit bad technically on the early versions but it was improved greatly since the version I played is the last one it was pretty good and awesome, sure a few bugs and glitches here and there but nothing special, and this game was expanded a lot with DLC making the experience even greater, so if you're looking for a unique game for a fair challenge Blasphemous is a great option, totally recommend it! So trophiesssss, well the only challenging one is Requiem Aeternam which requires to beat all main game bosses with no flask (no healing on the fight). For me this was quite the challenge, since I did the trophy on ng+ were the game difficulty increases so I spent a lot of time on those bosses, so my advice do it on your first run, it will be significantly easier. The rest of the trophies were pretty simple but pretty boring to be honest, at first I was intimidated by the amount of collectibles this game had, including upgrades, so I was afraid of some being missable, since keeping track of all that on a game I didn't know was absurd, thankfully it wasn't the case. I spent a lot of time running up and down getting this collectibles, and trust me it took a lot of time a it wasn't fun, and let's not talk about getting 100% on the game, which requires to complete the map, which is another tedious task. There are some trophies regarding to missions, which aren't particularly hard but can be easily missed if you aren't careful, there's also one mission that has 2 outcomes which requires 2 playthroughs since you can only get one per playthrough, I screw this one up on my 2nd playthrough which was ng+ with bosses no flask, and I missed it so I had to do another playthrough. This was an awesome game, I really enjoyed playing the game from start to finish 3 times haha I can't wait to play the sequel and see what will occur in the world of Cvstodia, Summa Blasphemia! Popular Post RadiantFlamberge
#27 Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty (PS5) Wo Long Obtained all trophies. (11.7% very rare/46.67% uncommon) Difficulty: 6/10 Time: 7/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Instead of another Nioh, Team Ninja has started a new franchise: Wo Long. There are some similarities and comparisons are inevitable, but this has some changes. It's not just Nioh 3 in China. Some compare it to Sekiro. Rather than the Ki/Stamina system found in Nioh, Dark Souls etc. there is a Spirit bar with a blue and a red side. Hitting enemies with light attacks builds up blue, while heavy strikes, dodging, using the Martial Art skill of your weapon, and wizardry spells deplete blue and build red. If your Spirit is total red, a hit will inflict break (stagger) on you. More blue Spirit means more power. Enemies have a similar spirit bar. Get one broken, and it's time to land a fatal strike. One other big change is the Morale Rank system. Killing enemies (and especially landing fatal strikes on broken enemies) will raise it. If you die it goes back to what your Fortitude Rank currently is. Fortitude Rank? This starts at zero, but increases as you plant Battle (checkpoint) & Marking flags. Marking flags raise it by 1 and battle flags raise it by 2. Morale will go up immediately if the new Fortitude exceeds it after you set a flag. Of course, a Soulslike will have challenging bosses. Zhang Liang will be like a brick wall at first. Do not give up, but instead start trying to deflect his critical blows (which will be highlighted in red). Every boss will have some elemental weaknesses and resistances. Deflecting is nice to learn, because a boss will pay dearly with a good chunk of Spirit if you deflect their CB. All enemies including bosses can be spirit broken. Fights with some standard enemies can be shortened considerably with a good deflect. The loot system is a bit overgenerous like Nioh's. Your inventory is limited to 500 items and will likely get full by midgame. At least blacksmith Zhu Xia pays good money if you choose to sell. Sometimes you'd rather salvage items for Jewels to use in embedment, to change properties of a weapon. Some weapons will come with a certain upgrade level, and you can salvage them for higher rank materials. Weapons, accessories, and armor have 9 levels of upgrade and 5 of rarity. Collectibles are golden cicada shells, Dragon Vein Essence (increased healing power), Dragon Vein Crystals (more uses of healing), stone tablets, and Shitieshou demons (cute panda cubs). Drop a weapon in front of the Shitieshou, and he'll eat it and cough up some other item of a similar rarity. You'll love the animation of one letting out a big yawn, then conking out on its back. Some collectibles are a little tricky to find. All battle flags must be found for the Fly It High trophy, but marking flags don't matter. After you join forces with all allies, you get Great Gatherings. Team Ninja did make some goofs at launch but they did fix them eventually. The original did not have a collectible tracker nor an equipment comparison (a big backstep from Nioh... go figure). Now it does. PS5's version actually outperforms PC considerably. You can throw a RTX 4080 at the PC version and still have some trouble with your FPS. CPU optimization issue I guess. There are hardly any framedrops on PS5, though I've had a very rare 1 second stutter. Once you gain the ability to respec your character, you can do it for no cost (in Nioh this gets expensive!). Wo Long is good overall, and I look forward to the upcoming DLCs (to be released quarterly... the first will be out in June, 3 months after the base game). Popular Post Trancexistence
#52 - Five Dates Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Total Game Time: 3 hours #53 - I Saw Black Clouds Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Total Game Time: 4 hours #54 - Night Book Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Total Game Time: 3 hours #55 - Who Pressed Mute On Uncle Marcus? Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Total Game Time: 4 hours #56 - Bloodshore Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Total Game Time: 5 hours #57 - Ten Dates Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Total Game Time: 5 hours Another Wales Interactive FMV game binge complete. Some of them were better than others but I enjoyed overall. Five Dates This one and it's sequel Ten Dates were my favourites. It takes a light hearted and often humorous look at the world of online dating through the lenses of webcams during the 2020 Covid-19 lockdowns. Vinny and his wingman Callum were both likeable characters whilst Maya and Shaina were my favourite dates. I was less keen on the other three girls. I Saw Black Clouds This is a supernatural horror type story that has a fair few different ways of branching off. Wales Interactive titles tend to be a bit hit and miss when it comes to the performances from the cast and I didn't think the acting was particularly good in this one. Plus the story is a bit naff. Night Book This was my least favourite of the six. Another supernatural horror type story but this one uses a laptop style interface (a bit like Telling Lies) but without the interactivity that game has. I really wasn't a fan of the story in this one and I skipped throught it as quickly as I could after finishing my initial playthrough. Who Pressed Mute On Uncle Marcus? This was much better. A murder mystery whodunnit in which the main character Abby must figure out who has (you guessed it) poisoned her Uncle Marcus whilst partaking in her family's yearly quiz. Fans of the US version of The Office may recognise Andy Buckley as the title character. Bloodshore This was clichéd but enjoyable action movie style nonsense filled with ropey acting, but in a good way. The story reminded of a movie series called The Condemned which has a very similar premise. This was the trickiest to platinum and I think I ended up doing 13 or 14 playthroughs as I couldn't figure out how to pop a couple of the trophies. Thank god for the post game "skip" button. Ten Dates This was my favourite along with Five Dates. This time around, it focuses on face to face speed dating in London. I thought the acting in this one was the best of all the games and the conversations that main characters Ryan and Misha have with their dates feel natural. There's even a surprising cameo from one of the Five Dates characters who is seemingly still searching for their dream date. So with all those done it's back to trophy cleanup on The Last of Us Part II platinum as I close in on 2,000 trophies.
Popular Post PotrikBerger
Dead Island 2 (PS5) Anticpation - 2/5 Yawn.....Another zombie apocalypse game? Another one, really?....looks fun though, still gonna get it.... Enjoyment - 4/5 Bundles of fun to play. Plat is super chilled, just like the main characters. What can I say, it may well be another zombie apocalypse game but it is great fun and I enjoyed my time with it enormously. The characters are well written and well acted, nothing takes itself too seriously and so strikes the perfect pitch for its irreverent style which constantly satisfies and delights as you play through the campaign. Which yes, is relatively short when comparing to some other recent big releases, but this way it never outstays it’s welcome. Game play mechanics are simple and very easy to pick up, with maybe the most forgiving ‘parrying window’ I’ve yet seen in a game. Overall, a simple, quick plat you can switch off to and relax. Retrospect - 3/5 It is great fun, but maybe some people will want more if paying full price as it does feel all done with pretty quickly. To sustain interest for longer than the current campaign lasts though they would definitely need more enemies and a more elaborate upgrade/crafting system with larger environments to explore as a start. On the whole probably not a game that will live long in the memory but you’ll almost certainly be playing with a near constant smile for the time you do spend with it.
Popular Post XIIDoomsdayIIX
#146 - The Callisto protocol. What an utterly disappointing game this turned out to be, got it day one and within two hours I was appaled of how bad the game was, from the story, characters, dialogue, combat, enemies, especially there design and how every enemy is essentially the same. Once I beat the game I had to give it a rest and am only playing it again so i can acquire the last trophies as I'm a completionist. As my most anticipated game of 2022 it is now my most hated game of 2022, the lack of new ideas in this game is truly shocking, all they did was copy from dead space 1+2 and made everything worse, even the ending was the same as dead space 1. The only things they concentrated on was graphics and gore. The enemy design is not scary and the the fact that enemies can't hit you from behind but only turn you around to face them is so moronic as is the pathetic jump scares they try to do. The whole point of a horror game is to not let the enemy get close but yet here you are running up to everyone and everything. The lazy boss fights also made me infuriated with its repetitive same boss over and over again and the final boss being a complete joke, even the blind enemies or the four legeded monsters posed no threat yet looked fantastic and dangerous in the trailer. I was hoping this was going to be a sci fi alien horror game but apart from the one already dead alien corpse which should have been alive in my opinion and the lack of any kind of lore, there's just nothing that's interesting or horrific about the callisto protocol which is a shame as it had so much potential.
