Not signed up for any events but, I've got 4 or 5 new games that I'm particularly excited about starting (AC Rogue and The Wolf Among Us being the main two). Gonna chillax for another month+ so I can be ready for hosting the next Lottery on November 15th.

Popular Post effdeegee
Well, with just under 1 hour until my Saints Row IV unlocks, I figured I'd spend the time giving my final thoughts on the latest installment of this event and close the doors a little bit early. Had I started at the originally scheduled time of the 15th, this event probably wouldn't be closing until the ~23rd but, it ended up being a combination of me jumping the gun a little bit and everyone getting their games extremely quickly that has led to the early closure. I would like to thank all who participated in this installment. It was a completely different vibe from the first event and it was exactly what I was hoping for. I hope you all had fun throwing caution to the wind and signing up, then picking your list of selections for others, anxiously waiting for your own assigned game and then hunting down the purchase and playing it. I'd also like to tip my hat to the audience for their continued support. I hope you all enjoyed reading along with the group as we all did the above-mentioned actions. If this was any level of entertainment for you, I'm glad you liked it. Maybe we'll see you for Round 3? The overall level of participation was really nice; lots of posts, lots of trophies. It's even more badass to think that many folks played games they normally wouldn't have bought on their own and that is one of the major focuses of the theme. Getting folks outside of their comfort zone usually yields smiles and new perspectives so, hopefully we've changed a few minds for the better? I've said it many times before but, the whole point of this event is to build a stronger, friendlier community here at PSNP and I would say were quite successful in accomplishing that. While we're speaking of participation, I'd like to further speak about something that was touched on earlier; repeat participants. I thought about it for a while and, as previously thought, I can't tell people they're not allowed to have fun but, I will make a plea to past participants for them to allow for other people to experience it first, before double-dipping. I guess the most blunt way of putting it would be; you can play again, but newbies get first dibs every time. Sounds fair all around, eh? Something I can only assume people are expecting me to comment on would be the amount of similar events sprouting up around the forums. To be honest, not only was this effect something that I aspired to achieve but, was also totally expected. Some call it "copycat", I just call it love spreading and the evidence of a stronger community being built right before our eyes. My blessing doesn't need to be given but, if it does, I wholeheartedly give it. Now, the moment most of us have been waiting for... the presents!!! I struggled with the idea of 3 prizes or 4 prizes because, although the level of participation was much greater than last time, there were still some flakey spots. I decided to do 4 prizes because, well, spread the love a little further, I guess. Also, to anyone still curious/not aware of this part, I don't include myself in the drawing (cuz pay self be herp derp). This is one of my gifts to the site I utilize every day. So, here we go! *insert drumroll* 1. whoadreader wins a lifetime premium membership! 2. Edunstar84 wins a lifetime premium membership! 3. Precision-Playy wins a $10 cash prize! 4. AkiraTheFox wins a $10 cash prize! A thunderous round of applause for the winners! :yay: I will be making the payouts sometime between the last few days of September and the first few days of October. If anyone has any questions or special requests, just send me a PM. So, that's it folks. A sweet little treat for a few peeps and another Lottery is now in the books! Thanks again to all who played and to all who followed along. You can expect the next installment to roll out November 15th, 2015. NotAFoxAnymore
I won moneys?! That's awesome! I had a lot of fun with this event, some good games were selected and it all felt like a mini community I definitely would never have tried Guacamelee if it wasn't for this event, and although I unfortunately didn't finish it, I still had a lot of fun with it and it was certainly a unique game for me. So thanks to effdeegee for making such a cool event and congrats to the other winners! I won't be joining the next one in order to let other people have a turn, but you will be seeing me again in the future

It was really fun and enjoyed my time here. I just want to say that I got extremely lucky with my pick (Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate). It was on sale for £6, which I picked up pretty quickly. Lifetime premium membership...I can't wait to see my name in gold.
