Just one question. I just finished good playthrough in Infamous, so before i start collecting damn shards and doing other misc trophies, could i start evil playthrough on a different save? And after that get back to my first save? Yeah, i know it's a silly question, but i just don't wanna mess something up...

Yes you can. Just be careful not to overwrite your saves by accident.

It's been awhile. I've wasted the entire week on Fist of The North Star but it is finally ready. Very dull and slow game, quite boring at times... with terrible grinding for kills. I need to play something more... entertaining next

Well i never thought i could do it but i have reached the top of the mountain with 3 weeks to spare!! Just finished the Raven off which i quite enjoyed despite the clunky nature of it all. Guess i have to look at doing some more now. May go towards a couple of R&C games, i have Into The Nexus and Full Frontal Assault to play so might try and add one of them in to increase my project platinum ranking as well!!

I'm going to try to YOLO an 11th game and move Where the Wild Things Are to bonus - I don't think I can stand going through that trophy to avoid crashing into junk while riding on Carol. Any suggestions for a game I can quickly get to near-plat in 22 days?

Its kool I would buy a bunch of jap imports but as I can't read them so I see no point. And I'm curious how you are getting the trophies for  The Book of Unwritten Tales 2   (Ps4)  and   The Book of Unwritten Tales 2  (PS3) at the same time. Are you playing on 2 tv's at the same time? Or maby there's more than 1 person playing on your account. Cuz if you can play 2 games at the same time you deserve to win all the imaginary internet awards. (Sarcasm)....

yeah sure, why not. but he basically already explained it.

in fact i was just about to continue my run(s) so i made a quick snapshot with my tablet and let it speak for itself:

i mainly have this setup for multi-platform (ps3/pstv) visual novels, where i just follow some guide anyways, so i just have to do it once with a little bit more effort instead of two separate times... and since TBoUT2 isn't that different (point'n'click), it speeds things up too. i basically follow the trophy walkthrough here from PSNP and take turns when there is a loading screen or some kind of animation/cutscene etc.

i also sometimes use it for alternative versions (ps3/ps4/pstv) of telltale games, where i just advance the dialog from time to time...

oh and it's really great for collectible guides via the built-in youtube app of course. i used that for the uncharted collectibles for example.

and yes, i'm more interested in trophies than the actual games (well, it's basically a meta-game). some people may find this stupid or even sad, but it's just the way i like to do things. a matter of personal preference, i guess?!

That is one sweet setup you've got there. 

 

Anyway, I'll allow it because this event's main purpose is to have fun. What that means to every participant is up to them: whether you participate for the group feeling, wanting to join the cool members, to work on the backlog, get a lot of trophies, or anything else (short of cheating) is ok with me.

Very Important Information Regarding PRD

 

With January drawing near, it's time to elaborate on some things, so please pay attention. After popping your plats and flooding the Most Recent Platinum thread, please post them here in the thread using a specific layout. By that I mean the game name with a small plat image, rarity, and the game genre (see example below). The image can be copied from the trophy log on your PSN Profile and you can find the genre on wikipedia. This will make our job significantly easier.

 

Example:

1. Mass Effect  - 6.83% Very Rare - action role-playing third person shooter
2. Mass Effect 2 - 12.20% Rare -  action role-playing third person shooter
3. Mass Effect 3 - 9.10% Very Rare - action role-playing third person shooter
4. Persona 4 Golden  - 5.66% Very Rare - role-playing, social simulation
5. Dragon's Dogma  - 9.92% Very Rare - action role-playing
6. Tales of Hearts R - 6.96% Very Rare - RPG
7. Dragon's Crown  - 7.32% Very Rare - ARPG beat 'em up
8. Kingdom Hearts Final Mix  - 6.85% Very Rare - ARPG
9. Final Fantasy XIII - 9.53% Very Rare - RPG
10. Dark Souls  - 17.67% Rare - ARPG

 

On January 5 we (the admins) will go through all that, this should give everyone more than enough time to sync their trophies in time. Counting the plats and working on the stats and categories is expected to take about 3-4 days. After that time we'll post a spreadsheet with the results. But the event won't be over, because you still have to vote for the Most Beautiful Plats that were unlocked between Jan 1-3. Participants can vote up to 10 plats (ranked 1-10, with 1 being the highest place) and the voting period lasts 1 week. Afterwards we'll gather the results and add them to the spreadsheet. Afterwards the first PRD has come to an end and more information will be posted about the next PRD. If you have some feedback you can post that along with your votes.
