I forgot how hard the Contra games can be. Definitely need a lot of patience and time to learn the enemy patterns.

 

It's very fun though. So far I've beat the Arcade and NES versions of Contra. Was cool to see how much it improved in the NES version.

Man this game came out 2 years ago, I can't believe it. I remember how the internet was on fire for this game especially for that big old lady. I played it back on 2021 and it really made those times better, I really have fond memories with this game! Resident Evil Village is one of my favorite resident evil games in terms of atmosphere and the whole design, the medieval goth theme really made this game shine in my opinion, it really kept me waiting for some Lovecraftian god to show up like a Bloodborne boss haha, it just separates itself a lot from the classic biohazard stuff.
