MMDE
Guessing the webportal linked to the wrong account after it logged you in. Screwup at the Sony web end, a fairly substantial one but unlikely to be a hack of your account. Unless you've heard this happen before, it's not a likely explanation whatsoever. I've heard similar happen with other sites before, but then it has been due to some caching issues (on server side), and a TON of people gets affected by it. Shouldn't happen at all really. Or everyone gets logged in to the same account etc. One mistake like this is extremely unlikely. Just makes no sense. Not saying it can't have happened, but it makes very very little sense and seems to me very unlikely. Seeing the username of this second account, and how it has been used, I think what I argue for makes way more sense and is way more likely. This is highly likely the cause of the snafu and if you take damon's suggestion, including the sandwich, everything will be just fine.
ProfBambam55
a similar situation happened to one of my PSN friends a few days ago...in his case his ID was linked to a different account and shortly thereafter, his password was changed so he couldn't log into any account with his info...of course it was the weekend so no technical support available...a phone call to sony on monday and subsequent password change got him back in business thankfully...was he hacked? maybe...bottom line he got his account back...changing your password might show whether there is foul play or not if you're still linked to the mad account...if it persists, would highly recommend a call to sony...otherwise, waiting it out as others have suggested could solve the problem if the error is a technical one... Ichiban-Hybrid
Yeah this doesnt add up. If your username changed then you should have all your trophies as well. This seems more like troll. Sony doesnt just changes your name with telling you. Obviously somebody is messing with you dude. And come on the username says it all..
Hayabusa85
Maybe Sony are having the same issue Steam had last December? http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2015/12/25/steam-is-randomly-logging-users-into-other-peoples-accounts-and-exposing-their-information/

It is a big deal, especially if someone were to purchase content somehow from your PS+ account etc. Or racially or otherwise abuse people from my Username. Al sorted now. Move along folks, nothing to see...... PC scanned with Malware Bytes and MSE and both revealed 3 x Win32 (Virus+Browser Modifiers) Level SEVERE All of which was put in the trunk of my car and shot in the face.... PS::: I get the sattire and banter BTW Edited October 28, 2016 by snacklepuss

Rick_Sanchez
This sounds almost like the same thing that happened with Steam last year around Christmas time where everyone was logging into everyone else's account but their own except this is happening only to the TC. Hopefully it's just a one time thing as it seams to have cleared up for him.

JapanimeGamer
Not quite the same thing perhaps but SONY can force people to change their PSN ID's if they want to... http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-06-28-sony-forces-ps4-gamer-called-jihad-to-change-his-psn-online-id Although that is not what has happened here obviously.
