2017 Platinum Race: Shana vs Dragon vs J2V89 vs Prinny

This was originally going to be a platinum race between Kochiya Shana and J2V89 but after some thinking and such it was decided for more competition and drive to add 2 other competitors who especially had a thirst for UR platinums to try spice things up which then lead to Dragon-Archon and Wdjat joining up. After that well the rest is this thread I guess?

 

The scoring system:

• Each platinum is worth 100 points minus their PSNP rarity
• Each player has 3 games worth x2 points but said games can not be started until Jan1 2017
• The x2 point games must be announced in the thread before being started by the player if not already listed
• x2 point games must be decided on by March 1st
• Auto-pops are the only platinums to not count - different region/console, super easy/fast doesn't matter just no auto-pops
• Timezone used will be +-00:00
• Start time: January 1st, 2017, 12am
• End time: December 31st, 2017, 11:59pm

Having been challenged after just finishing a Grail War although wasting a lot of time watching anime and now recovering from it she is summoned again but this time for a platinum war, unsure of her chances for victory she laments she had a treasure vault of sorts similar to a certain King of Heroes.

This fire dragon has been sitting on his treasure pile and watching anime for a while now. With the start of the new year, it might be a good time to focus on hunting some plats again and add them to the pile. He and Prinny are like fire and ice and always have a rivalry about anything to find out which one of them is the best. Only a certain Titania seems to make these two cower in fear.

J2V89 after being locked away in multiplayer penitentiary has finally been released and is after some newfound glory, chasing after some big guns he feels glory and making a name for himself are in his grasp. In his time away he secretly had a huge stash put away but will this help him and guarantee he can steal victory?

Wdjat Prinny Doods

Prinny after years of training with his mentor has developed a very strange quirk of stripping down to his scarf and bag when things get serious or just at random sometimes... After his hunt for some exquisite ultra rare platinums he decided it was time to encounter his rival a certain fire dragon for another rematch, let's just hope this thread can withstand it.

Interesting race you guys got here my vote goes to J2V_89 but good luck to the rest as well. I like the scoring system you are using, its not too complicated and you get more points for doing more challanging platinums.

I followed an online course about subtlety dood, so now I won't be announcing bribes in advance. Instead they'll be announced afterwards

Well this was suppose to be a fun race amongst friends and now it has basically become a battle for my life because I can't live without my sardine hoards doods....

So is the points based on the rarity of the Platinum when they earn it or what the rarity is at the end of the year? Because I would be all over buying new games and earning the Platinum ASAP before it becomes common.

 

Of course, I'm a rat bastard and this would be the only way I'd win any trophy-related race!

OK, Then it would be pretty hard to track who is winning throughout the year. You could be kicking ass with 25 platinums while Prinny is in last with 40.

I only know Dragon and Mr. Prinny is very popular so him to. But all of them have a lot of games to play so you're right it will be hard to predict who will take this one it the bag.

Prinny Dood has got this in the bag  although I predict Dragon coming in last as even I could beat him in a platinum race  speaking of which does this mean that @Dragon-Archon won't be joining me and @Floriiss for the trio race year two (revenge of the Razza  )

Why does Dragon keep entering these platinum races? He doesn't even need to worry about picking his 3 double point games since he probably won't even get 3 platinums in the entire year. 

 

I really want to vote and root for @Wdjat Prinny Doods and his UR skills could help him out in this race. But I'm not sure if he can be trusted to stay focused and lay off the Prinny Juice for a whole year. It's a risky bet and I wouldn't be surprised if he hit the sauce a little too hard and just disappeared from trophy hunting for months at a time doods.
