D1RTIEST
As titled, I love how DLC trophies are kept separate from the base game, but can trophies be added after launch (ones that would count towards a platinum) I used to be an achievement Hunter on Steam and this was one of the most annoying things, especially trying to find the game that had achievements added. grifteskymfning
I know they did this to Ark, making one trophy more rare than the platinum. https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/5646-ark-survival-evolved/grifteskymfning Edited April 18, 2018 by grifteskymfning
Dragon-Archon
Nope, unless a game is re-released, then it's possible the base game's list has been changed. In that case it'll have a separate trophy list though.
Leenewbe
no, once a base list is made that is it, the only thing they can change then is the requirements for a trophy.

The one I know for sure is Mercys. You used to have to ressurect four people with one ultimate. Now you can only ressurect one person at a time So the trophy was modified. You have to get 6 rezzes without dying now. Edited April 18, 2018 by Toogie53
madbuk
Also, trophy requirements can change as others have said (PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate is another that was changed) but so can the trophy images. The Lumo platinum image now is leagues above what it was when released.

But changing a requirement is different from adding another trophy to the base game's list after the release. 12 minutes ago, madbuk said: Also, trophy requirements can change as others have said (PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate is another that was changed) but so can the trophy images. It used to have a generic platinum trophy image, then a patch was released that improved al the images. Klart
Killing Floor 2 has gotten extra Trophies on numerous occasions to it's first DLC Trophy Pack 1 after the initial release of this first (& only) DLC Trophy Pack. So it's not the base game that got new Trophies, but still it's quite strange as I can't recall any other game doing this. Willstown
They did this with Hand of Fate as well, added an extra bronze in. It's made my list look weird as I got the plat before the extra one was added. Edited April 18, 2018 by Willstown
jpwbjpwb
As mentioned this happened with ARK but that is the only one I know of. I actually have the platinum but am missing the trophy that was added because I lost access to the game. Really annoys me.

I was too tired when I read this. I thought you didn't know requirements change. I didn't know about Ark either. HuntingFever
8Days - Peace is our Business, is another example of a game that got new trophies added post-launch that are required for the Platinum but the EU version is bugged because of them . Overwatch does it too, every time a new character is added, but that's the only other one I can think of.
HellcoreFire
Wow , dindn't know they do all this. I do know they change trophy names sometimes. Like in a couple of God of War games if I'm not mistaken.
