Holy cow am I proud of myself: I got Crash 3 platinumed and 100%'ed! Yes I know it is the easiest one but it was still rough. The PS5 controller makes the time trials hurt my fingers lol. Might take a break to play some Dirt 5 before I attempt the next Crash.

1 down, took a little longer then expected, wasnt planning on a little bit of monster hunter on the side.

Turns out the games I selected weren't that long as I've completed all of them already.

 

0-20%: Xenon Racer + DLC

An okay future racing game that has slightly clunky controls and some difficulty spikes (especially at the beginning), but is pretty short and was a good time overall.

21-40%: Brink

I was expecting a lot worse from what I've heard about this game, but I enjoyed my time with it. It was difficult at some points of the campaign and decently grindy at the end. Also, I was lucky that I had already done the most annoying trophy already (the Mine trophy). Might get the DLC to 100% it as well.

41-60%: Skylanders Giants

As with most Skylanders game, a pretty easy game with some slight annoyances during the Nightmare playthrough. (I'm still annoyed that I can't finish Trap Team Nightmare as it's major bullshit).

61-80%: Chess Ultra

Only had the tournament grind to do; was lucky enough to find 2 people to do the 32 account tournament. Overall, a pretty easy game to go through if you follow guides, except for the aforementioned trophy.

81-99%: Wheel of Fortune

With the luck trophies already out of the way, only the 50 games grind was left and it was a pretty bad grind as each game is about 20 minutes to grind for the props. But, I still like the Wheel, so it was fun.

 

This was a pretty good event idea and I can't wait to see what will be next. In the meantime, I'm diving down into Yakuza 7, so wish me luck for the next 80-100 hours.

Finally made decent progress. Finished off Nier (PS3) and started cleaning up Chocobo Mystery Dungeon  (not looking forward to the 500 floor dungeon) Rainbow Moon and SAO:HF are proceeding on the side and Monster Hunter will probably be my easiest one to finish off.

Now I have to old PS3 games left, so need to dust of the old PS3. 

I am I bite behind schedule but tomorrow I will update the brackets and leaderboard based on last weeks progress.

I would like to ask a question can you get points from extra games that you finish within this month if you can get your main bracket completed? And if you do is there any specific extra rules/steps that have to be taken? @Stedde

Not surprised that I dropped so fast ?

 

Things really slowed down with work, still, I'm making decent progress on FF7R, got up to Chapter 11 done on Hard, while still working on masters my HP and MP Plus materias and doing all side quests (Poison has been my best friend so far.. Didn't really run into any troubles too). Still, not looking forward to face Bahamut (nor the Behemoth sidequest).. 

 

I think that I'm still on track to finish all 5 games, but we will see.. Sly 2 shouldn't be overly complicated, and I Am Alive isn't that long, but I still need about 1 and a half playthough to 100% that one.. Still, settling up FF7R plat is my current goal, then Sly 2 (or give up of the event, and use FF7R as my 15k trophy milestone and keep at 249 plats until Nocturne releases, since there's still no release date set in stone for it and is easier to keep playing games, but not earning platinums, instead of not earning trophies at all..). 

 

Also, it's nice to see that a lot of you already got your initial list done! That's quite some fast work getting trophies!

Just got Dirt 5 Platinumed. Thank goodness I only ran into a minor trophy glitch: had to level up to 51 for the level 50 trophy. Everything else was smooth sailing.

Perhaps they could be at a lower point rate? Especially since the point of the bracket seemed to be clearing out the backlog. I'd honestly be fine even if only the games from the bracket counted for points as that's what the OP seemed like to me when I first read it.
