Well it largely depends. Some of them have been calm reactions (certainly the "trash binges") but I've had some big reactions. When I broke my WWE Platinum drought with the PS4 version of WWE 2K22, I'm not ashamed to admit I shouted "Acknowledge Me Damn It!" against my own better judgment. (I left my sister confused with that one.) My 5 "1st in the World" Moments definitely drew a lot out of me. Some more recent "big reactions" include Final Fantasy 1 (first Final Fantasy Platinum) and The Oregon Trail (having done the text-only 1971 version in school in the 80s very badly but redeeming myself in this form). We were told she has about a year to live. I don’t know if that will change or not , just that is what I know . Property_Damage Posted May 11 Share Posted May 11 (edited) I was just laid off from my employer on Monday with no previous writes up, disciplinary refferals, nothing..i and a few others were apart of some company budget cuts. i live in Connecticut, an at will state, meaning anyone at any given time can be fired for no reason, its just a matter of did you have write ups and whatnot leading up to it..No, ok you are eligible for unemployment then (this just happened to ironically happen on the day of my older brothers birthday) so my father called my brother to wish him a happy birthday and that same day im calling my father to say, Hi, I just got Fired! The company is doing major budget cuts across the board and the warehouses and ISPs (Inventory Specialists) are first on the chopping block. There's only three of us to start with, but being the most senior and high ranking one, I'm told that the others will first get their hours cut to part time (which means they will lose their benefits). This will drive them to looking for other work as well, and I hate to say it but one I wouldn't mind losing. He's a good dude but can't handle the computer side of our job. (He's nearly 60 and not computer literate). The other tho, he IS vital to the operation. He knows how to do everything, will do it without having to be asked but they're both gonna get driven out. I was even told that eventually they want to get down to one ISP (been assured its me). Which I'm glad my job isn't in jeapordy but man I don't wanna bear the entire burden of the warehouse on my own. Could I do it? Sure, but do I want to? Hell no.
