Tried to burn the midnight oil to get the platinum for Scribblenauts, but unfortunately I ran into a paywall: 9000 Justice League Rep for three dammed costumes!!!

 

I also forgot to unlock Belle Reeve, which was the last place that had a story level to get the final Startite to unlock the final boss fight. I DID get 400 Heroic Feats for some reason, so that trophy is gone, and I also completed the reset of the Origin Stories so I only have to unlock the rest of the costumes and complete the story to get those last three trophies. Have to shut down as I am woefully behind on my MMO fix.

Ugh, finally got Scribblenauts done. I had to grind out 12,000 Justice League Rep for FOUR COSTUMES. I wouldn't be salty if they had made you pay 3000 of each rep for costumes but they didn't. (The most expensive Gotham Rep costume is Joker for 1500 and the most expensive Metropolis Rep costume was, I think Bane for 1500.) That was ridiculous and Lily screaming alerts in your ears to go elsewhere did NOT help. Also the 5th Dimension trickster was not helpful, his 'challenges' usually involved restricting what you could write like "You can only write vehicles and adjectives!" Uh excuse me, there is this guy who needs a weapon and I can't give him any because I can't write weapons! You f'king sick imp. ?

 

But it's over with and I delete Maxwell as soon as the final trophy for completing the final level popped though I failed the first part and had to restart due to Flash DYING. Dude, why? That's why I picked f'king AQUAMAN over you in the restart. *sigh*

 

Okay, over that, leaving DC universe and going back to Queens to try to push through the Dark Cloud story and be done with that and this list.

I have reached rank 13 on Hoard. Just need to reach 15 and I'm done. You can AFK it on a certain map with a turbo and rubberband. It's not 100% accurate due to random spawns, but will still save me from being bored to death and allow me to do other things when I'm not feeling like doing it myself. Hoping to finish sometime tomorrow.

Actually, now that I am halfway through Dark Cloud, the final game on this list, I'm thinking about adding a few more to that list since we're not even close to October yet(only three days left in this month) and I have two months to go. I already have three copies of A Winter's Daydream to knock out in an hour(since the PS4 version is in one of my ANCIENT accounts so that's backlog) and maybe get to work on Dark Chronicle afterwards, which was the game that got me into Dark Cloud and is longer and more tech-heavy. I had gotten Dark Cloud 2's platinum on an older account and want to try it again as I love that game, but I know it'll take up a lot of time and I might not complete it before October 27, when Personal 5 Royal drops for PS5, and I promised I'd work on that game for Halloween.

 

(If we are going by multiple accounts, my ancient account has tons of visual novels and EZPZs, but I am not touching those - this account has SOME standards and whizzing through a 20 minute visual novel about 'the language of love' isn't up to those standards. )

Finished √Letter..Bought this after finishing Steins gate and it doesn't touch that but worth a play.

Onto Far Cry 4 which will take most of my time for a bit.....tried Ashes Cricket and playing a sports game I've not touched for 8 years is tough going but I will give it a good try and see if I can trim some of my unearned trophies down .

Got Destroy All Humans 2 done. What a pile of trash that was. A buggy, glitchy mess that made me say "I hate this game" a few times while playing co op with my bf. We had to restart the whole game numerous times due to crashes, missions bugging out, the saucer bugging out, things not spawning when they should, and so on. It was painful and I'm glad it is done.

9/28/22

 

Welp, it's that time again...

 

Once again I haven't gotten as much done here as I thought I might, though that's partly due to getting a bug up my butt and insisting on going back and finishing up Arkham Asylum.

 

I did complete Bastion though, and damn. That was a great experience, I loved every second. It looks gorgeous, the soundtrack is spectacular, and the gameplay is simple and addictive. Those Who Knows Where levels with all the idols invoked is where pretty much all the difficulty lies (the last one in particular is kinda rough and just goes on and on) but once you're on your second playthrough and familiar with how everything works, it's nothing you can't handle.

 

Okay, I've been putting Katamari Damacy Reroll off for long enough! That one is next on the docket, and after that I'ma swap out Subnautica for Resident Evil, I'm almost at plat #75 and this one feels more fitting. And since nearly every  challenge I've done has featured both an RE and GTA title, I may as well add GTA IV. It's time to get started on cleaning out the PS3 backlog anyway, I want all that to be cleared out for when I get my PS5 in 2026!

Update 4 - 9/28/2022

 

Hotline Miami 2 1% 7%

 

Gave Hotline Miami 2 another chance and bounced off of it again. I'm not swapping it out yet, but I'm shifting it back to the end of the line.

 

The first game never felt like a slog, even when replaying levels for A+ scores. But this one I'm struggling to complete just the first playthrough. Everything feels like it takes longer. Levels are bigger, have more floors, and there's way more story stuff. It all feels very "start-stop." Like just when it starts getting going, the game slams on the brakes again. I could play the first game for hours without getting bored, but after one, maybe two levels of the sequel I'm done for the day. Trying not to think of having to replay all the levels on Hard, and then also go for for A+ scores on all of them as well. But like i said, I'm not giving up on it yet. Hopefully next time it will click for me.

 

I also started on Criminal Girls. Just got to where my previous save file was so I'll actually start making some progress on it this week.

I just finished off Portia today. With how crazy work has been lately, they at least rewarded us with a week off of work, so I spent the last two days wrapping that up. Guess next I need to go to Sekiro; hopefully, I can rope @TalesofGaming to play with me. Otherwise, I might boot up Wytchwood for a game to relax while Tales is working.

 

Added in the three games for another challenge I'm in, where someone selected games under 10% completion for me to do in October. I might need to start them early as I'll be unable to play after the 12th, but we will see how it goes.

i have been started final fantasy type0 hd and i kinda like it i think getting the platinum trophie is going to be easy because i play and always first on the beginners mode wich is novice at final fantasy type0 hd and resident evil 5 i have digital games i dont really play online very often but more ofline games but online is very different then ofline 6 years ago i did online like almost every day but then i saw those trophies from the games then i have been thinking why are there trophies but thanks to you guys i know now i can hunt for trophies so final fantasy type 0hd for my 14 platinum trophie and in the meanwhile i going to play elden ring and dark souls remastered final fantasy is 2 percent dark souls remastered is 5 percent persona 5 is 20 percent and i going to swap sometimes with resident evil 2 and horizon zero dawn those i going to play until they are finished because i want to add more platinum trophies to my collection from platinum trophies ?????

So my 20th plat ended up being Tearaway, which I'm happy with. The game is a hiddem gem imo and highly recommend people to check it out, the last chapter is worth it! Such a cute game, I'm a bit sad it's over.

 

Other than that I've been playing more Temtem, unlocking shrines, lairs and getting a team going for rematches. The plat should come naturally for me while playing it on a regular basis, so not to worried about that.

 

Next I'll get back to KH I think, still lots to do there. I always have to many active game ? just can't resist starting new ones

OK, I finally have my list all set! ? My buddy in a trophy challenge picked out Ni no Kuni, Hollow Knight, and Uncharted for me to play. I know I'm in for a wild and rage inducing ride but I'm hoping I can pull through!

Work has been a little full on so I’ve been chilling away at Elden Ring, I’ve been exploring a little less since hitting the last 1/4 of the game - trying to defeat a certain boss who’s 2nd phase is rather punishing. Did have to lookup where to get the last spell I was missing and a weapon that was possibly missable but quite impressed most items I had acquired just by exploring!! 

 

I tried to juggle some of my other games but I’m realistically playing 1 at a time so hoping I can make more of a dent in Elden Ring again this weekend.

 

One added benefit of this week is back up to 80% completion after Resi 2 and Borderlands 2 tanked it a little.

It has been a month already and I just realized I haven't updated my progress even once yet. I guess I feel like I haven't got a lot done because most of the month has been focused on only a few games but here is my progress so far.

 

 

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Spent a lot of time this month on this game. I have been putting this game off for years and finally decided to come back to it. Main game is complete and everything is done except for the Score attack runs. I have done a few but need to just focus and do the rest of them for the platinum. Also have a couple dlcs left to knock out but hoping they will get done in October sometime.

 

Kona

The only game off my list that is complete so far. Game is set in 1970s Quebec Canada and was pretty decent for a walking/survival lite sim. I was annoyed by all the blowing snow and the less than stellar visibility, but then I realized it added huge to the ambience of the game.

what i have learned is doing 1 game at a time is far more better then starting 290 games just for the trophielist i made some mistakes and i have learned from it i going to try getting the platinum trophie from final fantasy type0 hd but i am getting better at gaming so i made now less mistakes in a game and i know what to do in the games i playing its slightly increased to getting better with gaming so i increase my completion and i am now 4% with final fantasy type0 hd i play now 1 game at a time so i hope to unlock more trophies this weekend since i got then more time to play videogames i have learned alot from my mistakes i made trough my games so this one is happy i going to unlock alot of trophies this weekend but the souls games are a bit harder for me but with more practice and patience i wil get there so i wish you guys luck with the trophies  and have a good weekend all

Despite today being the last day of al member benefits in Wizard101, I decided to push myself to further completion of this initial list. (I will probably add to this list as I have two months left to go in the challenge. I didn't expect Scribblenauts or Dark Cloud to go by so fast. Might be able to steal some hearts come Halloween once I get established into my new man cave. )

 

So I finally got all six party members in Dark Cloud, getting Osmond just a short while ago. Decided to stop there for MMO reasons. (As I said, they are going into maintenance tonight to remove all the member benefits and set up the Halloween stuff because they always have the Halloween stuff for October so I need to milk these free benes when I can. If anyone wants to know what I am talking about and why they have ALL of the member benefits right now, just PM me. )

 

Tomorrow morning, I will definitely try to get the platinum for Dark Cloud as Saturday is usually church day for me. Then I can set up my next set of five games. Probably may or may not do the sequel of Dark Cloud 2 as that is a lot longer and more involved, even though there are only two characters you control there.  My plans will probably be to hit Persona 5 Royal for the PS5 when that comes out in late October because I know of a guide I can use to get through the game fast as Persona 5 Royal has some great characters.

So I have just wrapped up my first game of the challenge. I loved the original Ace Attorney trilogy when I played it a few years ago, but this new game is just as fantastic. Although this one is set in Victorian times, spanning incidents in both London and Japan, each case you're working on is tied to a much bigger mystery that spans across the 10 chapters you play through. The final 2 chapters where everything unravels and you finally solve it, my god, it blew my mind ?. There are so many twists in the cases and it keeps you hooked right until the very end. It's been a wild ride! . 

 

I'm not sure what I will play next, I've found myself in a bit of a conundrum. I had meticulously planned out all the games I wanted to get up to my milestone platinum #100, with the aim of getting a 100% profile as well. But I was inspired by @Attababyitzaboy, and this week I purchased a PSVR. I love it, and now I'm debating whether or not to switch up some of my games . I mean, Astro Bot Rescue Mission is just absolutely adorable! And I'm really enjoying Beat Saber. Been playing these games on an alt account, I kinda want to play Astro Bot now..... I guess I'll make a decision by next update

Update 4

 

Hey everyone, hope you've all had a great week ?

 

Not huge amounts of progress to report this week. After finishing Ace Attorney I found myself in a bit of a gaming lull, and not really sure what I want to play next. I've been bouncing around several different games, some challenge games, some non-challenge games, but still not quite settled on the next title to dedicate my time to.

 

Non-challenge wise, I've been farming resources in Horizon Forbidden West to upgrade my gear before starting the Ultra Hard run. I also went back into Two Point Hospital, a leftover backlog game from last year's Fall/Winter challenge just working on those 3 star requirements. Then I jumped back into Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, practicing those combos. I really wish I was better at fighting games ?.

 

For the challenge games, I made a start on Red Dead Redemption 2 and got through the first tutorial mission. Then I booted up Guardians of the Galaxy and completed the first mission. I'll most likely stick with Guardians, I'm planning on playing through it twice anyway so I can enjoy the story on the first run. Also decided to stick to my original gaming plan, I won't add the VR games in yet but I'll keep practicing Beat Saber on my alt account ?
