In some events - (the UR Clean Up, for example) - declaring a game while it is eligible, is enough to guarantee it can be included, even if it slips from eligibility while the person is playing it...

...is that the case with this event too?

 

Just a question - I'm going to be playing it anyways - but just wondered, if I say I'm doing it now, and while I am, some Speedy Gonzales's push that 50th place finish to under 90 minutes while I'm still Tortoising my way through it, can it still be used, or will I have missed the window?

 

I'm gonna make an exception for Endling because quite frankly it's just too perfect of a game for this event. About extinction and free this month? Idk, it's too good to pass up!

Re: Endling, honestly, it's as if Sony heard about this event being run this month. ? I'm hoping to play it for this event, but we'll see how things go - consider we're already a third of the way through, if I remember correctly!

 

Game #2: 

A Short Hike Platinum

 

You play as an anthropomorphic bird named Claire who needs to hike to the top of the island's peak for its cell reception. Along the way, you can interact with other anthropomorphic characters and even help a few of them out as you work to get your climbing/flying stamina high enough to finish the hike. It was definitely a cute game!

 

As for my vote... I can't decide right now whether to try and help Team Red Panda or Team Spotted Jaguar win... and I don't want the Snow Leopard to have just a single vote. So while I debate for fifty years which animal I should throw my remaining votes behind, imma give the Snow Leopard one more vote.

 

Everyone, have a blepping snow leopard today!

I finished up Hogwarts Legacy and my goodness some of those animals are adorbs. The fwooper and mooncalf especially, but also all of the babies you get from breeding. This time I'm voting for tiger. Whatever type of tiger that already has a vote is the one I'm also voting for .

Another vote goes for the Arctic Fox, as I have finished Petoons Party! At least one of the playable characters is some sort of cat, so I guess it fits the event.

4th game down with Paw Patrol: Grand Prix a kiddie kart game that requires you to beat the 17 track adventure mode 10 times. Why do I do this to myself? And now I have to do it again on PS5. But I will only be using it once. I gotta have 10 separate games or I won't feel like i've accomplished something.

Finished Endling for my first game in the event

 

 

It's a game with it's heart in the right place... but unfortunately, the actual gameplay is a pretty dull affair, and  pretty poorly handled, so aside from the cute-factor, this one is a bit of a whiff ?

 

Still, made it just under the wire of eligibility, and it was free, so hard to come down too rough on it.

 

 

My vote, as always, is for my Hedgehog friends!

Fifth game done:

Crazy Chicken Jump `n` Run Traps and Treasures.

Normaly, in the Moorhuhn games you shoot the chickens (or like they sing in the Moorhuhn song: "Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme more Huhn, I love the Hühner to shoot"), but in this game you play as a Moorhuhn with an Indy hat and a pistol in search for treasure in old ruins.

(I know that the english name is crazy chicken, but that feels wrong to write, when you know them as Moorhühner since the late 90s early 2000s).

My vote goes (like always) to the hedgehog.

Game number 2 is in the books for me and it's Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (PS4)

Whilst for some collectathon platformers have aged poorly this one to me still holds up. It also was novel back in 2001 having a near seamless world that you could travel from the start to the end. Although Naughty Dog are unlikely to revisit the Jak and Daxter series I do feel another Sony Developer could do something with the series.

My vote goes to the Sea Otter as Daxter is an Ottsel a combination of Otter and Weasel

My 4th entry: Playstation Vita Pets

 

This one goes to the vampire bat. As the most terrestrial of all bats, they represent an interesting possible future for their kin. Despite being the second-most diverse of all mammal groups, there is not a single flightless bat species. Seeing one eventually show up would be really cool - now, if only I can figure out how to live ten or twenty million years old to get a chance of doing so...

Final Fantasy V Platinum

 

Most of the main party in FF5 have a bond or friendship with a creature. The main protagonist, Bartz, has his trusty chocobo steed Boko. Lenna has her wind drake Hiryu. Faris considers the sea dragon Syldra to be her best friend.

 

Today I feel like voting for Red Pandas, so have some adorable photos and gifs!

A cute 3D puzzle jump `n run about the titular dragon girl, who tries to escape a mysterious castle.

As always I´m gonna vote for the hedgehog.
