I can confirm that NA got it for free. The only reason I remember is because I would've been so pissed to have paid any money for it. Am I the only one that thinks VLR sucked? I had to use rubber bands on the analog sticks to keep the story progressing because I couldn't bear to watch any more of same silly animations and the story bored the shit out of me. The story did get a little interesting toward the end, but I was too through with it by that time and just wanted it to be over.

How is Record of Agarest? Interested but it seems to be not the most popular game out there. 

 

Very underrated strategy RPG game, and a difficult one at that, because similar to Final Fantasy XIII, you have to collect all armor, accessories and weapons to collect certain titles needed for the gold trophy. and because you will need to beat the game on the hardest difficulty (I think) in order to get the post-end dungeon, and the enemies can be able to one-shot you in mere seconds due to their stats being ridiculously high.

 

I still haven't platinumed Record of Agarest War because I have to defeat certain bosses in the Boundary Plane (name of post game dungeon), but I lost track of which ones I beat.

 

Also, there are cutscenes where you must make certain choices with certain females (that you may get the chance to marry), which will ultimately lead you to the true end.

 

It's been a few years since I last played the Agarest games, so the details are a bit sketchy on my end. Can someone be able to elaborate on these games please?
