All the JRPGs!  :holy:  Well, 80-85% of them. The PSP has an amazing selection of NISAverse games (and plenty of other good TRPG titles). I also recommend SMT:Persona and Persona: Innocent Sin.

Origins is a fine game on PSP (it was made specifically for it, after all), but the Shattered Memories is best on the platform it was created for: Wii. The PSP port just can't compare.

Yeah I know, but in case he can't afford to buy a Wii or maybe he doesn't have interest to do so he can play the PSP port.

The PS2 port was better than the PSP but still the Wii version is the best, even so with all this PS2 emulation on PS4 I hope Sony can make a deal with Konami at some point and release their PS2 versions with trophy support and 1080p resolution, would love to play them with all that! :)

Currently only both GTA Stories have the most chances to be coming to PS4 with trophy support/1080p, since currently Rockstar is re-releasing many of their PS2 games on the PS4.

Ohh, and 1 more question: my friend use PSP FIRMWARE PRO (HBL), same as ps1 emulator and he can download every game and play on psp. If i do the same and use my psn account to be online, i will be banned ?? (would love play some games like crash bandicoot or ponq :D )

Mmh I'm not sure, obviously Sony doesn't support piracy so I wouldn't risk myself if I were you, at least try to not log into your PSN account while you're playing them. Although I used to think that when you had a pirated PS console you couldn't log in online, but since I never owned one I don't know.

You better not use your PSN account on this PSP then, it may get you in trouble.

If you'll hack your PSP, you won't ever need to use your account on it in the first place. All games are easily transferable through the PC. Do the research.

I never owned a PSP, so I'm probably missing a lot of great games, but I have since bought the following games to play on Vita. I would highly recommend them!

  • Persona 3 Portable
  • Valkyria Chronicles 2
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter

Star Wars Battlefront

Star Wars: Renegade Squadron

Star Wars: Force Unleashed

Dissidia

Dissidia Duodecim

Medal of Honor Heroes

Medal of Honor Heroes 2

Undead Knights

GTA: Liberty City Stories

GTA: Vice City Stories

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

Gangs of London

LocoRoco

MGS: Peace Walker

Wipeout Pure

Mortal Kombat: Unchained

Tekken: Dark Resurrection

God of War: Ghost of Sparta

God of War: Chains of Olympus

Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror

Patapon

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

There are a lot more, but these are the games that mainly occupied my time, in no specific order. But Persona 3 is at the top for a reason.

And mainly. Kiseki games.

This warms my black heart. :awesome:

Well, you can't find P4 on PSP anyway =D

SMT: Persona and Innocent Sin hardly hold up in 2016. Good to see where the series began and it does have a redeeming nostalgic factor, but other than that best left alone.

How does year relate to anything? =D

Those two are in a sense truest Shin Megami Tensei Persona games you can find. Year is irrelevant ;)

Ohh, so dont know if i do this too. I.m asking because its nice to play some ps1 classics, and psp doesn`t support trophies, and its really hard fing games to buy for psp near the place i live.

And other question: is possible login in psn in psp, for example, play online and see my friends, etc etc ??

Anyway, thank you for all games posted here! :)

The year isn't irrelevant.  ;) The Persona games have evolved a lot in terms of gameplay, narrative, character development, lore, replay value, and so on. Sadly, the first two entries have not aged well. That is why if you're a hardcore fan, there's still fun to be made out of the games and possibly new knowledge to be acquired but they aren't even remotely close to Persona 3 & 4, qualitywise. So I wouldn't exactly recommend them to rookies to the series.

Hah, what? Good games are eternal. Their "goodness" does not have an expiration date. More over, the first SMT games still hold up great. They will kick your arse and tear your soul to pieces, but... still great. The Megami Tensei 1&2 are the only games that do show their age, but their spritework and music are still great... and there is also a remake, Kyuuyaku, that raises them up to the level of SMT I, II and if... , so the early SMT can be easily experienced in all of its glory without the need to cringe.

Well, the modern Persona is a different beast altogether. Classic and Modern Personas aren't exactly comparable anymore.

And hey, they aren't that aged. Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, at least. First Persona is rough around the edges, I won't argue with that... but my only real complaint towards it is the fact that it dared to give me the bad ending, after I've wasted hours and hours in the casino gambling for the OP equipment... My fault though, played blind, should've used a walkthrough... *facedesk*
