JaM
well... it's the end of the season... wrapped up most of the anime I am watching... Gakuen Babysitters Synopsis After their parents are killed in a plane crash, Ryuuichi and his younger brother Kotarou are taken in by the chairman, who they never met before, of an elite academy. Ryuuichi becomes the school daycare's new babysitter. I've read the manga, so I had some expectation, and I really liked the adaptation. Next to Sangatsu, my fave Slice of Life anime this season. Gintama.: Shirogane no Tamashii-hen it's Gintama and as usual, it didn't disappoint. Time to wait for July for more. Osomatsu-san 2nd Season Well, I prefer the first season more than this one. But the first episode and the last episode reminded me why I really liked this anime. Koi wa Ameagari no You ni Spoiler Akira Tachibana, a reserved high school student and former track runner, has not been able to race the same as she used to since she experienced a severe foot injury. And although she is regarded as attractive by her classmates, she is not interested in the boys around school. While working part-time at the Garden Cafe, Akira begins to develop feelings for the manager—a 45-year-old man named Masami Kondou—despite the large age gap. Kondou shows genuine concern and kindness toward the customers of his restaurant, which, while viewed by others as soft or weak, draws Akira to him. Spending time together at the restaurant, they grow closer, which only strengthens her feelings. Weighed down by these uncertain emotions, Akira finally resolves to confess, but what will be the result? This one surprised me. I thought it will be pure romance. I really enjoyed watching this one, I wish I have time to catch up with the manga. Kokkoku Synopsis Having failed 19 job interviews in one day, Juri Yukawa's dreams of moving out of her parents' home are utterly dashed. Stuck living with her working mother Nobuko, NEET brother Tsubasa, laid-off father Takafumi, and single-parent sister Sanae, the only hope for this family to raise a decent adult is her little nephew Makoto. However, this struggling family's life takes a turn for the worse when Makoto and Tsubasa are violently kidnapped by a mysterious organization and held for ransom. With only 30 minutes to deliver five million yen to the criminals, Juri's grandfather reveals a dangerously powerful secret to her and Takafumi.By offering blood to her grandfather's mystical stone, the three enter the world of "Stasis," a version of their world where time stops for everyone but the users. Having arrived at their destination, their rescue efforts go awry when they are assailed by a surprising group of people who are somehow able to move around within Stasis. While all hope seems lost, a monstrous giant known only as the Herald appears amidst the chaos, its intent and motivations as cryptic as the very nature of this timeless world. A hidden gem IMO this season. I haven't even heard of this anime til episode 6 and I watched those 6 episodes in one sitting. That was how hooked I am in this one. The ending feels rushed but I really didn't mind. it's very satisfying Edited March 31, 2018 by JaM
Undead Wolf
Tsukigakirei (12 Episodes) Score: 6/10 I'm a sucker for good romance anime but this one just didn't really do it for me. I appreciate that they were trying to be more "realistic" with the relationship between the main characters, but this basically just boils down to lots of awkward scenes where they barely say two words to each other (if any at all). Honestly, it was quite painful to watch for at least half of the episodes. I never felt like the main characters had much chemistry with each other so I don't get why they were even going out in the first place. Because of all this, the "tearjerkers" towards the end didn't have much impact on me which is a shame. It certainly wasn't a bad anime, but I'm kind of surprised it's so highly rated. I wish I could have liked it as much as a lot of people seem to do but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

Leon Castle
Ninja Slayer From Animation Episode 1-8 Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku Episode 11-12 (Finished) Quote 29-year-old programmer Suzuki Ichirou finds himself transported into a fantasy RPG. Within the game, he's a 15-year-old named Satou. At first he thinks he's dreaming, but his experiences seem very real. Due to a powerful ability he possesses with limited use, he ends up wiping out an army of lizard men and becomes a high leveled adventurer. Satou decides to hide his level, and plans to live peacefully and meet new people. However, developments in the game's story, such as the return of a demon king, may cause a nuisance to Satou's plans. One of my top Favorites this season and I liked it so much I Started on the Light Novels. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler What is this Creature?! A flying Hairball? Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Puff Bird... still a Flying Hairball to me. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Miira no Kaikata Episode 11-12 (Finished) Quote When high school student Sora Kashiwagi finds himself staring down a mysterious oversized package sent to him by his self-proclaimed "adventurer" father, the last thing he expects is for it to be opened from the inside... by a little mummy so small it can fit in the palm of his hand! In some weird way it reminded me of one of my Favorite Manga Kyou no Cerberus/Today's Cerberus, might be due to both is based on Myth Creatures and the different between the two besides mythology is that Miira no Kaikata is cute small Animals and Kyou no Cerberus is cute girls(no the Cerberus is not a Three Headed Dog-Girl, It`s a Three-in-one Dog-Girl) Never the less, Miira no Kaikata was a fun and cute anime. Garo: Vanishing Line Episode 23-24 (Finished) Quote Corruption looms over the prosperous Russell City, where manifestations of negative emotions called Horrors cause chaos and mayhem. The Makai Order is the last bastion of hope against these unholy creatures. Using several small businesses as fronts, they deploy powerful Makai Knights and magical Makai Alchemists to combat the Horror threat. Within this secretive order, the highest rank of Golden Knight has been bestowed upon a large, powerful man named Sword, granting him use of the Garo armor and blade. He alone knows of a plot that threatens the entire Makai Order, with his only hint being the phrase “El Dorado." While fighting a Horror, he encounters Sophia "Sophie" Hennis, a teenage girl whose brother's disappearance years ago is also linked to the same phrase. The two agree to work together to uncover the truth behind "El Dorado" and the disappearance of Sophie's brother. Did not expect the last two Anime Garos making a Cameo Spoiler Need to watch Finish the First Garo one day. Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens Episode 11-12 (Finished) Quote Although the city of Fukuoka might look relatively peaceful at first glance, in actuality it houses a thriving mixture of dangerous individuals such as killers, detectives, and professional revenge seekers right beneath its surface. Among their number is Zenji Banba, a laidback and observant detective who is investigating the work of other hitmen companies in the area. However, Banba might not be the only one with a bone to pick with these organizations, as Xianming Ling, a crossdressing male hitman in the employ of one such company begins getting fed up with his lack of jobs and pay. One day, after Ling's current target commits suicide before the hitman could reach him, his company refuses to pay him even half the amount they were originally supposed to for the assassination. Frustrated, Ling requests another mission and is offered the job of taking out Banba, whom his organization believes has been interfering with their business. However, when Banba arrives at his home and finds the hitman inside, Ling surprisingly doesn't even attempt to kill him. Instead, he offers the detective another option: to join him and form a team. With the offer on the table, exactly how will Banba respond, and just what plans does Ling have in store for the underground world of Fukuoka? Waring for those that hate certain VAs: Ling the Trap`s VA is Kaji Yuki. This Anime ended up being interesting and funny, the interaction between Banba and Shunsuke was funny to watch as they almost fight all the time with Words, Swords and Whatnot. Spoiler Spoiler Takunomi. Episode 11 Now to wait for Episode 12 to uploaded.

Valyrious
Got to watch the first episode of Persona 5 the Animation. They do a good job of condensing so much that happens within the first episode. I'm pretty convinced now that this is the same level of quality as Persona 4's animation. If not better. It'll be anime of the year, without a doubt. Also, at least 24 episodes are confirmed for the season. At most 26.

Stronger than Märchen Mädchen Hint: Spoiler Girls und Panzer Episode 11-12 plus the 2rd Recap (Finished) Quote "Senshadou" is a traditional sport using World War II era tanks in elimination-based matches. Widely practiced by women and girls alike, it's advertised as a form of art geared towards making ladies more prominent in culture and appealing to men. Becoming a worldwide phenomenon over time, the influence of senshadou leads to the creation of a world championship which will soon be held in Japan. Miho Nishizumi, who comes from a lineage of well-respected senshadou specialists, is at odds with the sport after a traumatic event led to her retirement and eventually a rift to form between her and her family. To steer clear of the practice as much as possible, she transfers to Ooarai Girls High School where the senshadou program has been abolished. However, with the news of the upcoming championships, the school revives their tankery program, and Miho is pushed into joining. Now, with the aid of some new friends, she must overcome her past and once again take command of a squadron of tanks in an effort to save her school from closure, all while proving to her family that the Nishizumi-style of senshadou is not solely about victory. Undead Wolf
Akira (Movie) Score: 10/10 That's right, I never watched this movie until now. Of course I've always heard people talk about it, saying how this was the movie that got people in the west to acknowledge anime. Well after seeing it for myself, I can definitely see why. Holy crap, it was awesome! The first thing that struck me was the animation itself. It's crazy to me that this movie is from 1988; it still looks incredible! It's also really dark and mature, quite different from the other animations the west would have experienced at the time I'm sure. Before I started watching it, I didn't know if nostalgia played a part in this movie being so highly regarded, but I'm happy to say that isn't true in the slightest. I was super impressed with it, and it had me hooked from start to finish. Sigma999
Watchted the last episode of Kliing Bites Was expecting a generic and salty ending from this one since the whole show was a bit predictable and somewhat trashy although i kind like it overall but astonishingly the ending ended up to be a a total surprise and full of great moments and left the door open to have a continuation in the future which i wasn't expecting to have a 2nd season Overlord II ep.12 , 1 ep away to end

Some gaijin try to claim these for their own, but they don't even like them for proper reasons, such as loving the angsty boys who don't fit in the system, nor do they understand what it meant in the context of the time in Japon. edit: Not throwing any stones here, but I do think anime movies like Akira or Patlabor 2 etc. tend to fall in the category of "you're holding it wrong". If anything they're too Japanese for westerners to like them without reading up some guide. Edited April 4, 2018 by mecharobot
