This was great, I'm actually excited for the next game to come out. EXCEPT. That one bit pushing the cart at the end (iykyk) where the auto aim screwed me over so many times, and I had to do it twice because I was missing a collectable from the very end ? thankfully it wasn't as painful second time through.

EA Sports UFC 4 All 28 Trophies 8th August 2022 • Platinum in 5 months, 4 weeks

 

 

UFC 4 was very close. screwed up the timing.First trophy was 6 months apart.  5 Months, 4 weeks and 23 hours. Even though I got it at the same hour & minutes +15 min as my first trophy.

 

If you want to get to 6 months on the dot, add +1 hour.

This was such a great experience, loved it. Loved the stealth gameplay which only got better on the hardest difficulties with the lack of resources. And the story was enthralling. It really deserves all the praise and accolades its received over the years.

I’m so happy to have finally earned this 100%! I started 2022 knowing I’d be working towards my 100th platinum milestone this year and there was only one game I wanted to hold that coveted spot. I know it’s not a difficult game, but it’s my most proud platinum to date. As a bonus, it’s the first game I played on my first Sony system; the experience convinced me to make the jump from Xbox to PS4 permanently.

Hello everyone!

 

Well I finally got something done for August! I had plans to have something else done by now but when I realised that with the shutdown of the Killzone servers I needed to get that done as soon as possible or else I would miss out on the platinum and the 100%. I do have 1 more trophy to collect but I've had enough of Killzone for a while so can move on at last.

Currently pulling an all-nighter since I slept till 3 PM the day/night before, lol. Was working towards completions on a bunch of games. When the progress for those games started to slow down, I decided to go through my Master Backlog List that I made in Excel and found a couple of more games that I can work on daily. Also found this gem that I was able to self-boost the last trophy needed and get myself the 100%. Probably will be the only completion I get this month but we'll see.

So, as I mentioned I was going through my backlog list. And I found another game I was pretty close to completing, and thankfully I still had an old save with manual save points done throughout the game due to a guide I was following. So I managed to complete another game thankfully! And that hour speedrun wasn't as bad as I thought, but I definitely cut it close lol. Here's another completion! Back to grinding out some grindy games, see the spoiler if interested.

Second game of the month. Due to a glitched bench in Bricksburg locking me out of a red brick, I thought I would have to restart the story... so I deleted this game in disgust. But a few days ago checking these very forums I found out that wasn't the case, so I dusted myself off, reinstalled it, and breezed through the rest of the game.

I used to be "active" in a sense myself with moving people to inactive after 3 months. @ them with a one month warning & such, just to mark them inactive & the next week they'd be back to active status ?

 

I technically move people now upon request or near the end of the year when I have to do a big update for the New Year anyway. So it's okay if you don't post here & there. But know, even if you're marked inactive, you can still come back with completions done during your inactive period (just put them in the Form for me) ☺️

Third one for this month and probably the last. This has been a very productive month for whittling down the backlog, more than usual. 

I didn't enjoy this one at all, way too preachy, the less said about it the better.

it was pretty alright until I reached the challanges. They were a horrible experience. I thought about doing the ps4 version also but I don’t think I can handle it a second time

 

i also finished uncharted legacy of thieves. I starter it on feb 19 10pm and finished it on august 19 11pm

so that could be 6 months but due to February beeing shorter it only calculates this to be 5 months 4 weeks 1 day

what does @Gretchen27 say in this case?^^ either way this event motivated me to finish it so if it doesn’t count that’s fine

I use a duration calculator for games on the edge. Here's what I got. 

 

Result: 181 days, 0 hours, 47 minutes and 2 seconds

Cuphead

Can't say enough good things about Cuphead. Just had to polish off the minor DLC that dropped. Because I hadn't claimed it as a game before, I'm allowing myself to now. The DLC in itself was creative. The art style of this game is top notch, along with the style of music and ease to pick up game play. Mind you if you don't like platforming I wouldn't bother. I will admit though the dificulty curve is higher than most games, trying to beat bosses on even regular mode requires quite a lot of repetitive practice and talking to yourself. If persistent though, you'll get it done.

 

Yakuza Kiwami

All 55 Trophies

I genuinely love the Yakuza franchise. I've kind of restricted myself to only continuing the series after I 100% each game so its taking time. I finish Yakuza 0 a few years back but I'd gotten stuck on Kiwami. It had a really intense car chase during chapter 11. The annoying part was you couldn't cloud save or relaod chapters and required you to repeat 15 20 minute fight sequences. Apart from that, the story within this game is the highlight and I've already started number 2 and continuing. The completion list is full on, but the karaoke, golf, and assortment of different arcade and mini games are high quality. 

 

Hope you've all had a great August. I just wish I'd stop adding games.
