ZombHunter13
I’ll be putting an update for game process sometime today but before I do I have a question for @MidnightDragon. As long as they met the requirements and I don’t go over 35 games, can I add games to my list up to 35 at this point in the challenge? I haven’t participated in a backlog event for a couple years and it’s change a bit since then.

Note this one is a bit different from the spring and summer challenges. Edited September 6, 2020 by MidnightDragon

Popular Post Draps-1337
Alright, First update! Hard to believe it's almost been a week already! I've been working overtime this past week, so I haven't had much time to game. That said I managed to 100% Shenmue, it was relatively short, coming in at around 15-16 hours. It was good to finally get to experience the life sim karate kid game, looking forward to playing Shenmue 2 next, hopefully it doesn't have as much dead idle time like the first game. I also managed to finish Rocket Arena, with the 2xp weekend, so I'm finally free of that curse...List Spoiler Shenmue (0% -> 100%) Shenmue 2 Shenmue 3 Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (26%) Owlboy Odin Sphere Leifthrasir Nier Automata (played on PC, but want to play this masterpiece again) Nioh 2 Devil May Cry Devil May Cry 2 Devil May Cry 3 Dollhouse Days Gone The Messenger Outer Wilds 11-11: Memories Retold Grow Home Grow Up Child of Light Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 (8%) Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 FF7 Remake

Popular Post da_eMTy
Update #1: First week is over and I got a good start. I concentrated on the short games. Sigi was nothing worth mentioning, a easy short jump and run with a "simple story". Doodle Devil was a okay puzzler for second screen, watched some episodes of "the last dance" and created some elements. Hidden through Time was a really fun puzzler and a nice idea, it was worth the buy. Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2 was fun in the first hours but got boring very fast. The story is a bit too long... And then the highlights for my first week: Blackwood Crossing and Last Day of June. Both are interessting art styles and very good stories. Last day of june even without any real word. I would recommend both games. Color Code: Red = Game not started. Orange = Game is in progress. Green = Game completed to 100% + DLC. Popular Post Hiyo_Rain
Uncanny Valley – 0% The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game – 0% Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter – 0% MediEvil – 0% -> 68% Hakuoki Edo Blossoms – 0% Far Cry Classic – 0% Ghost of Tsushima – 0% Update 1! I didn’t get to do a day one update because I had plans with my grandma and best friend on the first day. I’ve still made some pretty decent progress considering my work schedule this week though! MediEvil has been a lot of fun! The one thing I’m afraid of is in this game, but thankfully it’s cartoony enough (and also everything is small enough) that it’s easy for me to pretend it’s something else for the most part… Also I really hate platforming in games and this game has some kinda janky controls so the platforming can be a nightmare, but I’m still having enough fun to let that slide now that I’m not tearing my hair out over a certain few levels. I’m excited to be trying this again for this go around, after I didn’t do so hot for the summer one. I’m keeping it simple this time around (plus I have to be careful of my 75th plat milestone), so hopefully I can finish it! Good luck to everyone!
Popular Post Wild-Arms-R
Day 4:I desided to just tuff it out on Episode 4 Mission 2 and keep my Ultra Violance, no quick saves rule in place. Im kinda gald I did cus beating the level "legit" was quite rewarding. I hear many Doom players consider it the hardest offical Doom level. So maybe that explains the huge difficilty spike. I feel as if this level helped me improve on my shooting and movement too, guess Ill take this beating as Dooms version of tuff love. lol I did a big Mein Leben session tonight and died on the last level due to getting stuck in a gulitch spot? So didnt put much time into Doom overall. But Im on ep4 m3 now, so were getting close to the end of my 1st playtru. I started off strong with Avengers. Beat the campaign and knocked out a few of the easier grindy trophies, and that's when the bugs hit. No progress on character passes, matchmaking barely working, glitches galore, etc. I was enjoying the game, but I'm putting it on the backburner for now. Hopefully a couple months of patches will make it a more stable experience. The plat for Deadly Tower of Monsters will be gotten today. I would have finished it last night, but I fell asleep early. So far it's been a fun, charming little game. Not sure why I let it languish in my backlog for so long, but I'm glad I made it one of my games for this event. I also started on Secret of Mana, but then realized I missed the Ma Goblin monster in the Wind Palace. So, I'll be starting a new playthrough this week and should have the plat by next Monday's update. Luckily I enjoy the game, and I wasn't too far into it, so starting over now isn't too bad. I also got a couple random Shovel Knight trophies. I haven't started the game in earnest for this challenge yet, I was just messing around to get used to the game again. Popular Post SpacebarPlays
First update Forgot that the new Avengers game was coming out and added to the list, thats basically all ive been doing so far. Spyro 2 - 7% Spyro 3 - 0% The Order 1886 - 0% Sherlock Holmes: The Devils Daughter - 0% Final Fantasy IX - 0% Marvels Avengers - 0% -> 56% Fallout Shelter - 0% So far, im absolutely loving the game, basically cant put it down. Fortunately ive been lucky and having no major glitches or bugs that others seem to be having, my big issue is ive completed a couple of the trophy requirements and it hasnt given me the trophy. I know you can get the trophies, just gotta repeat the stuff and hope it pops next time I'll probably carry on playing Avengers this week and maybe jump on Spyro now and again. Popular Post BigHatPaul
From my trophy checklist thread Update on Backlog Challenge: Hotline Miami: Spoiler That's It? The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel: Spoiler Freshman Orientation Tactical Thinker The Way to Thors Appropriately *finished* Hotline Miami. I think this trophy list is gonna be a lot harder than I first expected, looking it over. Gonna have to consult some guides. Also, I had no idea there were PUZZLE PIECES in the game. Christ. Got a lot of work to do here. Started Trails of Cold Steel prematurely because I felt like wanting to explore a world and get lost in it. I was having a serious case of Analysis Paralysis, took me hours to decide what to even play, but, sat down and churned out 3 hours of it. Don't know how I feel about it right now. Run of the mill "friendship is good!" anime storyline, but what did I expect? After playing Tokyo Xanadu I should have known. I'll spend more time with it, maybe on the weekends, focus on the rest of the games during week days, since they aren't nearly as long.

I’ve really enjoyed reading all of your updates and watching the slow progress to 100%. It’s been motivating. ? Update #1: I spent the past week slogging through Borderlands 3 with minimal trophy progress. The game isn’t bad, but the story is lackluster thus far. Thankfully, the open world and ever-present search for the next golden gun is keeping me engaged. Plus, there are few things as satisfying as watching heads ‘splode testing out a new sniper. I remember seeing this during the first years of the PS4 era and I thought it looked really cool, but it got pretty mediocre reviews. But after finally playing it years later, it was a pretty fun game! Sure the story wasn't amazing(especially that BS ending) but I still enjoyed it overall. If they ever do somehow make a sequel to this game I will gladly play it but I highly doubt it will happen. I also managed to get another trophy for The Alto Collection and despite it being an endless runner, it is a very relaxing game and I love it. Don't know what I'm going to work on from this list next probably Bioshock or Granblue but we will see. Also I added 4 new games to the list, one being Tony Hawk which I bought day one just haven't played yet alongside Cuphead and both Shadow Warrior games. Let's keep it goin! Popular Post Liioni
Knocked Hue out of the way too! I really enjoyed the game, but I remember getting stuck on one puzzle, but I went through it with ease this time around. So maybe I just needed to sleep on it for a while(a long while...) I am planning on starting Bayonetta next, but I know that game is probably going to take me a while because I am usually tired during the evenings so a game that needs focus will take some time for sure. Haha. At the same time I will also work on Plague Inc, but I am not rushing that one, I am really just enjoying it for now and will do a more focused push at the end of challenge if I haven't completed it by then. Popular Post dylansko
Update #1 Well, looks like I have a broken Vita. So until I get it fixed and if I do I swapped a few games out for some other ones I had on the back burner. Was able to get through PGA 2K21 for my first completion of the challenge and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good sim game and a nice relaxing round of golf. I’m excited to go back in my free time and play some of the custom courses and check out the online societies some more. I’d like a bit more depth in the career mode but it does its core gameplay of being a great golf game just about perfectly I’d say. May trophy huntering be fruitful. Day 5:Finally beat Episode 4, and thus ends my 1st playtru of the orignal Doom. Gotta say beating all 4 episodes on UV no quick saves was a monster-ish task. mission 1, 2, and 6 being beyond hard as balls. Like I could not believe how absoulte bs mission 6 was with the above rules I set. It took me legit 5hrs of non stop tries untill I I learned the level inside out at the end. Went and find all 4 secret exits, along with the rest of the easy trophies aftterwards. Gonna start the 2hr speed run probbly tommrow. I normally work 4 8nhalf to 9hr days. So will see. I'm really enjoying the game so far! I'm worried about the "Best Bromance" trophy tbh,,, I heard the requirements for that trophy are strict and the helpful bug was recently patched as of June(?). Wish me luck! I'm coming up to the part where the trophy would pop.... As long as you use a guide so you always pick the right corrcet diologe choices youll be fine. Make sure to earn Aeris's Lv4 Limit by the end of Disc 1. And dont forget to grab Vincets ulimate weapon by the end of disc 3 as well. Also enjoy one of the best JRPGs of all time while your at it. ?
