Popular Post based_gigachad
Starting Percent: 55.33% Last Update: 63.13% Current Percent: 63.24% Racing games have always been my genre, so my intention at the moment is to clean up some trophies on some of these. Most of the games I have in mind I already have platinum trophies for but haven't yet purchased any DLC, such as Need for Speed Payback or Project Cars 3. However, I have instead been working on The Crew, which I last played in 2015. I put a lot of time into this game already (almost 200 hours before I picked up it again on Friday) but this was before I was a trophy hunter. I have a very small amount of ultra rare trophies on my account and The Crew has plenty up for grabs, many of which aren't hugely difficult but predominantly time consuming. So, I've finally upgraded a car to the highest level, completed all the data stations and landmarks on the map, spent 24 total hours in a crew, completed 10 missions as leader of a crew, completed 100 missions overall, driven 200 laps of the Little Eagle Speedrome, escaped 100 police pursuits in freedrive, performed a minute long stunt combo, earned 3000 bucks from a multiplayer stunt combo, and achieved a combined speed of 870 mph in a crew, so if you get 3-4 people to do a drag racing event it's relatively straightforward. In addition, I now have a new rarest trophy I've ever earned - United We Stand (1.53% rarity) for completing 50 Crew vs Crew PVP events. This week I'm going to aim for the remaining trophies, which include building a hidden car from wreckage parts, earning over 100,000 reputation points in a month (which I'm already a quarter of the way through), completing the faction mission Landmark Tour in a Crew (easy, but need someone else willing to do this 3 and a half hour event with me!), earning 10,000 award points (currently have almost 8,500), earning gold on 500 different skills on the map, earning platinum on all story missions (probably the most difficult thing left, apparently this can be buggy also), driving 2000 miles off-road and driving 5000 miles in a single car (currently have 1500 on my highest mileage car so far).

Popular Post gruffiiti
Monday update So this week was another good week for me as I mostly behaved and kept my completion moving in the right direction. I did start 2 new games from my backlog but completed them both so they added slightly to my increase instead of dragging it down further. The rest of the time I spent this week was chipping away at unfinished games already on my profile. Metagal Completed this one fairly quickly as true to form Rata games have stupid trophy lists that give you the 100% without even finishing the game. I played a little further past the platinum pop but was not really feeling the game so decided to move on to something else. May come back to it one day but who knows with so many games already in the backlog... Oxenfree I spent the majority of the week playing this as it requires a minimum of 3 playthroughs. Each playthrough is approx 3-4 hours so its not to bad. I liked this game a lot and the constant interaction between the characters made this interesting. The voice acting and the art style is top notch in my opinion. It leaves me scratching my head why I waited so long to play this. I could have done without the 3rd playthrough while not saying anything the whole time. It didn't really add anything to the game. That would be the only negative comment I can give this game though as it was brilliant otherwise. Lonely Mountains: Downhill Its nice to have a game or two that can be played in short busts when you are short on time. This game does it brilliantly as you can pop in and get right to ripping up the mountains on your bike. Each run takes less than 5 minutes usually so its easy to pickup and put down when you need to. While each trail is great as it is the real fun comes in finding shortcuts and secret trails that will shave off time between checkpoints and ultimately give you a lower combined time at the end of the run. The Grand Tour Game Its been over 2 years since I first played The Grand Tour Game. I have picked it up a few times since then but usually got frustrated with trying to get gold on a harder segment or race. Decided I was going to finish it this year so loaded it up on my PS5 on the weekend. I love the way each episode in the game is more or less the episode you can watch on Amazon Prime. Most challenges in the game are not too difficult (based on your skill level of course) and I have been able to get Gold on a lot of them on the first go around. Some of them will take some practice though. I did spend a good hour or so on one challenge last night as the time to beat was rather tight and margin for error was slim if you wanted to hit it. Demon Souls Its been almost a month since I played Demon Souls so it was nice to get back into it last night. I'm playing through co-op and for the most part blind with @Spacey Dweeb as our first playthrough. Its pretty fun exploring the beautifully re-done levels in the PS5 version. Going into this game I had kinda wished I had played this back on PS3 but now exploring and experiencing Demon Souls for the first time in all its remade glory makes me glad I didn't. Popular Post Spinacheq
Update #18 Back to another positive gain this week, though some of that was due to me playing clearing 2 powgi games I found in my digital backlog. Really only 1 game, One Word, though I need plat it on both vita and ps4. Other than that on paper it would look like a week where I accomplished almost nothing, yet made some great progress on Trails of Cold Steel 3 first playthrough. One Word (Vita): Thanks to some advice from some of my fellow trophy hunters that these games were good for a quick plat, I went back to my vita download list and found I had bought this game in 2019 and forgot about it. So I download it and grabbed the quick plat and a quick bump to my completion percentage (~.13%) better than nothing for a game I already owned lol. One Word (PS4): Cross buy unlock is great when it is a super fast and easy platinum with it's own trophy list lol. So, I decided since I did the Vita version I might as well do the PS4 as well. which had put me at 79% comp. total and I was happy. Trails of Cold Steel 3 (PS4): Continued on this game, making great progress in the first playthrough of 2 I will need to do for the platinum. I know I can do this on 1 playthrough, first time on one of the cold steel games in series where you can do it in 1 playthrough. Since I love the story I like to playthrough with minimal guide and enjoy the story see what I can get done then do the hard mode playthrough with a guide and clean up anything I missed. I think I hit close to the 50 hour mark according to my save file so that should be almost halfway through when you are watching all the cut scenes and reading everything/talking to everyone . Going to try to find some time for clean up of some of the things not completed yet on my list above. i.e. ac3 dlc, ff15 dlc ... etc. I would love to get Cold steel 3 as my 75th plat for the milestone, so I might find 2 easier/quicker games to complete so it can be hehe. Also thinking I might need to learn how the spoiler tag works so I can hide my list behind it as it growing quite big lol. Have a great week, fellow completionists and trophy hunters. Just as a heads up, I'd highly highly recommend trying to wrap up the Vantage Master minigame trophy in this run. A guide isn't really needed so much for it since you can easily spot the matches on the minimap and they are always at Thors, on the train or in the various cities, but when I played the Japanese version I found the minigame way too hard on the nightmare run in both CS3 and CS4 and had to do another run for that trophy. If you've already missed some then at least try and beat some of the later opponents to have some good cards available for your nightmare run. You should have access to the majority of them in chapter 4.

Popular Post Gumby114
Mid month update. Not a great deal to report. Metro 2033 I started this game finally. I mean......sitting on my ps4 downloaded for 4 years finally. I don't know why I slept on this game. It's pretty great. I listened to the audio books while driving across Australia for work and loved them. I love the idea that, when the surface is destroyed by nuclear fallout, we migrate underground and live our lives in the subway stations (Australia would not fare well). AC Valhalla Finished Asgard started in Jotenheim. I am a little miffed there are 30 collectables in each location as these are my last two areas. The last 60 collectables have been really dull considering the area is recommended at 130ish and I am 30 levels into mastery points. Not much progress this week. I ended up playing Dynasty Warriors 7 more than RE8 thanks to starting Conquest Mode. So I'm actually making trophy progress in that game now, which is nice, but there's still plenty of grind ahead. I thought I'd be finished with RE8 by now, but I ended up watching people play it more than actually playing it myself. But I'm back at it now and hooked again so I should have the plat by next Friday. Week 20 plans -RE8 plat -DW7 plat Take care! Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
Morning all Another slow week in terms of progress. Not so much gaming time at the moment. And the time I had I have put mostly in FUT again. Watchdogs + DLC (1/1) (PS4) After the of last week I have finished now the DLC : 'Bad Blood'. That DLC was very boring I have to admit took way too long. The driving in this game is pretty bad and having to do 29 driving side mission was no fun. Anyway, it is done! Dead Nation + DLC (0/1) (PSVita) Making progress on my Grim run and trying to get all loot trophies too. I already failed in mission 2 (96% of the loot ?) so need to redo that in a 3rd run. Status Plans for next week: - Finish a PSVIta game (Sly Cooper or Dead Nation) - Start Green Lantern on PS3 Happy trophy hunting!

Sadly you do have to find all the loot every time. It's always the most frustrating bit to do, but you can do it on the easiest difficulty to breeze through getting the loot and racking up more kills for the Genocidiary trophy. I just need to do coop and my Morbid run on Vita, but I'm gonna do that after I finish Salt and Sanctuary first.
based_gigachad
Starting Percent: 55.33% Last Update: 63.24% Current Percent: 63.31% Only 5 new trophies since this time last week, so not a big boost to completion percentage, but I am a lot closer to finally finishing The Crew! The first trophy I earned was relatively straightforward and not very time consuming in which I had to build a hidden car from wreckage parts. This can be done in under half an hour with a guide, especially as with the majority of the map uncovered I can fast travel to the exact point of the wreckage part. The other 4, however, were not so straightforward - all ultra-rares! The first of which was Enduring Spirit, for completing the event landmark tour in a crew. I played with some nice guy from the site here on Saturday morning who also needed this and my final finishing time was 3 hours, 14 minutes and 58 seconds! It's a long event, fortunately I do tend to enjoy these endurance type races though. Most of the time over the past 7 days went towards grinding the skills to earn 500 golds and earning platinum on all story missions. For the skills, these are dotted all over the map, and divided into several categories - speed (stay on the road and go as fast as possible to earn points), escape (put distance between you and an ever increasing radius), hill climb (climb the highest height up a hill or mountain in the allotted time), jump (getting the furthest distance possible), precision (putting the car through checkpoints/gates that get increasingly narrower), race line (driving along a route at speed without compromising the racing line), scramble (following a route to smash glass targets) and slalom (like precision, but you must go round each gate from a certain direction). Most skills are relatively straightforward to earn gold with an upgraded car, I made the choice to avoid as many scrambles as possible because I found these the most annoying, and focused on precision skills last as sometimes they are very tight and can be frustrating - the key is to go as long as possible without missing one for the first time to keep a high multiplier. I was worried about earning platinum on story missions also, as this is one of the trophies that according to the forums and other players I have played with, this trophy has the potential to be buggy, Thankfully, it worked as intended for me. The race/time trial/follow events are mostly trivial in a high level car but the takedown and destruction ones can still be frustrating as you really need to optimise time to earn platinum on these, so lots of replays on takedown missions to find a perfect line to intercept and do lots of damage early! Other frustrating missions are ones where you a given a preset vehicle so you can't count on your high performance rating to breeze through it so you almost have to be perfect. This leaves the last trophy I earned this week, for earning 10,000 award points in total. There are about 15,000 in total to earn throughout the whole game, and you earn about 10-20 for most small tasks. Fortunately, nearly all trophies in the game are directly tied to awards (the awards menu is actually the best way to track how close you are to most achievements) so after doing skills and story missions I only needed to make up about 750 to reach 10,000. The way I chose to do this was by completing nearly all of the zones/cities ones which award you 15 each for driving between a selection of 3 landmarks without the use of fast travel. Sometimes, the overall journey is short - about 5 miles in total - but other times it can push about 30 or 40 miles in total for one of these trips. Fortunately, I enjoy the driving in this game, and the huge/varied map going to constantly different places helps keep it fresh, it also helps count towards my mileage trophy so at least there is that! This leaves me with only 3 trophies remaining before I complete The Crew. Overclocker, which is for driving in 5000 miles in just one vehicle (I have 2100 in my most used so far). Rough Terrain, for driving 2000 miles offroad. And Remember My Name, for earning 100,000 reputation points in a single month via the faction missions (I have 84,000 currently!). These are all also ultra rare and the only things standing in my way of a shiny UR plat - which would be my rarest trophy earned so far!

Popular Post gruffiiti
Monday update Another week and a slight step backwards with starting Children of Morta sooner than I had planned. I hope to finish up The Grand Tour Game this coming week and perhaps make some more progress in Demon Souls. Likely will also be playing more Children of Morta as its just great fun. The Grand Tour Game Made some good progress in this game this week. Completed 7 (well 8 if you include one was a 2-part special) episodes with gold in all challenges. Some of these challenge events can be super easy but there are always a few that takes multiple tries to get a near perfect run if you want to beat the time for gold or a DLC trophy. A few have even taken me hours of replaying to get that perfect run. Only 5 episodes left to go now for the plat and 100%. I almost feel sad that it is almost finished.. Children of Morta Downloaded this game along with a few others onto my console to get ready for the Gaming by Numbers event this summer. Wanted to see what it was all about as a few friends had played this game recently and highly recommended it. Before I knew it I was hours into the game and loving it. It is a rogue-like dungeon crawler that focuses on the Bergson family who have been guardians of Mount Morta for generations. Each family member can be unlocked through events or story progression to be used as a playable character. The way the story unfolds though is really neat. When you "die" or finish a dungeon you will be transported back to the family home and a bit more story is revealed. I think I have about 5hrs into this game and most of that was spent re-running the first dungeon. You will 'die" a lot but that is all part of the experience and even helps to move the story along. Popular Post Spinacheq
Week 19 update: Another week down and another week of progress towards my goal. While this time the overall progress is smallish with final end of the week 79.14% up from 79.03% at the start of the week for a total of .11% increase. Though I am not as sad this week by the little progress this week. I got into the chapter 3 of Trails of Cold Steel 3, got a few more trophies for sports champion, and started Hyperdimension Neptunia PP on the Vita. Thus why I am ok with only a marginal progress increase since I did start a new game and still managed to get a positive week. Trails of Cold Steel 3 (PS4): Fully into chapter 3 now, still loving the story, exploring everything and talking to everyone I see. I really love how well crafted this world is and how they have tied in past games not just in the trails of cold steel arc but in the other arcs as well. I have pretty much gotten to the point with trophies on this one, that I have all the ones outside of the chapter trophies, bonding events, and the do everything ones hehe. So while I will continue to enjoy this game it's completion progress might be a little bit slower growing until I get through he main story more. Sports Champion (PS3): Made some more progress on this for completing the Volleyball set of trophies. Just need to do the challenge set, which yeah might never come since with my limited size gaming space might not be possible until the future. The game isn't bad, and if I remember it is from 2010 the tech is very good for that time frame. Though the difficulty jump from silver series to gold is just insane, and each match in volleyball depends on rng more than whether you know how to play the game or not. For me this is a slow progress anyways game, as I had written this game off along time ago, as this game tends to make my arms/shoulders and back sore from too much play. So I have to do it in small bursts. At least I am able to work on it a little bit here and there and if I never get platinum on this one I won't be as buggy mentally since it isn't about game play as much as whether or not I have enough room to proper play this one and move around so the camera can pick me up lol. Hyperdimension Neptunia PP (Vita): Started this game as I knew Trails of Cold Steel 3 was going to take some time and this is game isn't that intense or time consuming. I would say this game is a blend of Visual Novel and Idol Producer game. So far it has been fun, quirky and very relaxing. I got this when I thought the vita story was closing as I really enjoyed Super Neptunia RPG on PS4 when I played that for an event last October. This one does require 8 playthroughs of which I am on my 7th as of this morning, but it is very easy to pickup and put down which is great since playing the vita for more than a few hours at a time is very hard on the neck, and well the battery doesn't last forever lol. I am sad that this game isn't PSTV 100% compatible. It will run on it, but as there is use of the back touch pad while pressing other buttons during concert mode, doesn't lend itself well to even a ps4 controller on pstv. Which is fine, I find myself playing this a lot while sitting next to my wife as she watches her cooking and home fixup shows. Hyperdimension Neptunia PP - This should be complete in the day or two, as I am close and it has been fun. I might throw up another quickie game I picked up from the vita store, it was very cool of the Developer: Sometimes You to make almost all of their games .99 cents on the vita store. I bought them all, all 35 of them. So I might use one of them as a quick get me to 74 plats so that Cold Steel 3 can be 75. Thanks for reading I hope I wasn't too boring or rambled on to much. My offer is still out there for anyone needing help on Minecraft (Vita version) I can help with multiple player trophies and some of the hard grind ones, as I have a world set up for wither and ender dragon respawn/killing. I even found a great trick for doing the floating 50 blocks from a shulker hit that tested to see if it worked myself. Have a good one all, I look forward to continuing to cheer on all your progress and reading about the great and not so great games you are all playing.
Popular Post Spacey_Dweeb
Hey everyone. I'd like to attack my completion and participate in this event. I've been considering doing this for a while. I am just kind of inviting myself into this in the middle of the year. I don't want to cause problems or anything so if this is an issue, please let me know and I'll track my completion some other way. I don't think prizes are on the line, but even if there are, I completely accept I would be ineligible. I just want a place to talk about completion percentage progress. At the beginning of the year, I decided I would try to get to 80% completion, but since then, I haven't done much to actually work on that goal. I can see that if I stay on my current trajectory, I'll end the year just like I began it. I've had my profile range from about 65-70% this year up and down and up and back down. I am finishing things, but starting just as much as I am finishing. I am resolving to put serious effort into working on my completion average starting today, and having a place to post about progress and hold myself accountable will help. I read the posts here every once in awhile and it has helped motivate me for short bursts. If I get involved weekly, I think I'll see some actual progress on raising it up to 80%. With that said, here I go with my first weekly update. Over this past week. I started several new games, which is counter-productive to my stated goal. I knew there were a couple things that I was going to start right away, and I didn't want to publicly be like "I'm going to work on completion." then immediately do the opposite. So I've started the things I was thinking about starting. The damage is done already, so now I am here and the focus will be on driving the completion back up. To counteract my little spree of starting games, I am going to commit to taking 20 trophy lists to 100% before I start even one new title. Ten of those completions are planned for the upcoming Gaming by Numbers event already. The Mass Effect Legendary Edition accounts for four more. I've slowly been working on Demon's Souls with @gruffiiti so that's 15. I've got my VR set back up and have been playing Beat Saber for some cardio. I'll switch my cardio needs to BoxVR and try to finish that trophy list. I was also working on finishing Until Dawn: Rush of Blood the last time I had the VR set up, I'll give that another go. So there's 17.. AC Valhalla is on my radar, since I just finished AC Origins a week or two ago. Final Fantasy VII Remake... and Atelier Firis to scratch the JRPG itch I get. That's 20! I may decide to do slightly different games, but I will make sure to work on only things I've already started. You have some lofty goals, good luck with them. @Squirlruler manages the official stats and as far as I know we are not adding new people to it. Alot of people though post their own stats, and there are some good examples throughout. Prior PCG: 62.89 (1 May) Current PCG: 63.62 So with my last plat which is pretty fitting With this game now begins in fury, the summer game challenge. These are all the games that are over 50% complete. My goal is to finish them all off. The idea is to have as many as possible done by my birthday, Sept 4th. It really is a summer fest since it is just about memorial day to labor day. So far I have been bouncing from trophy to trophy in various games. Keeps me from getting burned out from too much grind if I do small goals.

Sadly you do have to find all the loot every time. It's always the most frustrating bit to do, but you can do it on the easiest difficulty to breeze through getting the loot and racking up more kills for the Genocidiary trophy. I just need to do coop and my Morbid run on Vita, but I'm gonna do that after I finish Salt and Sanctuary first. thanks for the tip, I was combining loot run with Grim run but I since I need so many kills anyway I better survive the levels and get the loot on brain dead
Pauloxzak
Guys, this makes no sense to me but as I earned trophies to games that were already in my list but with 0% my completion rate actually went down? ? as if they were not being counted at all, does anyone knows if that actually the site's behavior? My % from the past weeks went through the sink ???

Correct, a game started but with no trophies unlocked does not impact your PCG. Once you get that first trophy you will get the completion hit.
