*No Patches for Some PS3 Games*

Thanks, I checked the game data and I do have version 1.03, which I apparently downloaded years ago when I bought it. However, though I thought I had bought a new copy, it must be second-hand and the DLC code already used. So I'm screwed out the DLC for a different reason and can't blame Sony for this one.

i feel like Sony is going to truly kill the PS3 and Vita. Anyone panic buying games now will be stuck with offline only games, unable to update ,and unable to sync new trophies.

 

im unable to update Steinsgate, hopefully I have a patched copy of Lords of Shadow downloaded still. Might have an entire backlog unable to play soon

Just started up Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and it automatically brought me to the main start menu. Although I have the Premium Edition which comes with the DLC, so maybe there was no patch for this. I need a confirmation though.

 

Will try out Metal Gear Rising Revengeance later and see if I get the same thing.

I tested MGR yesterday. If you have the US version which is what I tested, the update works.

If someone can confirm, Enslaved is a game I have to download until the end servers so I hope it works again :/

If you have the regular edition you might need a patch, but I found it cheaper on the PS Store so I grabbed the Premium Edition that comes with the DLC, so I'm a little confident that this game is safe.

I was supposed to check Ghostbusters the Game but SOMEHOW the game disc is missing and I cant check Final Fantasy XII-2 atm. Everything in that List is American/Canadian region EXCEPT for Trinity Universe. That one is EU.

you can still buy the dlcs in the store, its just located weirdly.

It's a little complicated ^^

 

I am French so the DLC is not avaible in my store , so I ll have to create an US account, then download the DLC in this US account on my ps3, and play the DLC on my french account thanks to the US account ! 

 

That's why I am less confident now ^^

This is very worrisome, and probably the most obvious where there is a patch, but the console is not seeing it. Someone definitely fucked up.

I bought the US Premium Edition of Enslaved because the DLC has been delisted for the EU version ages ago. I don’t recall there being a patch, besides, you can just load up the game and see the DLC from the main menu without risking earning any trophies.

 

MGR:R still works, at least the EU version anyways.

The PSN only games I bought recently; Jet Set Radio, Shatter, Knytt Underground and Rayman 3 HD I don't know come with patches. These are far more obscure and barely anybody plays them anymore, so I need to look into them to see if they do have patches or not.

Just checked those games on my PS3.

 

Jet Set Radio has a 1.01 patch.

Shatter and Knytt underground never received patches.

If there is an update record, and that one game or another has people who can, others do not.
 

This suggests that it is a problem with the PSN server to locate the update. But the way it is going I find it hard for them to want to fix a problem on a console that they intend to kill sooner or later.

I didn't see Jet Set Radio listed unless I completely skipped over it. Will have to see if the patch comes up.

 

Rayman 3 HD has issues with some trophies, but I simply bought it to complete the Rayman series.

anything under "--GAMES WITH NO UPDATE OR PATCHES REMOVED--" means either there ARE NO patches/updates or sony REMOVED them. I've tried with Demon Souls earlier and it just said "this game is already on the latest version" meaning either there isnt any update, or they been removed from the server. Meaning S.O.L.

 

for any game that DO have patches, all you have to do is either just turn the game on with, being connected to the internet and all, or press triangle on the game, and press "check for updates".

I have this quote "this game is already on the latest version" with Demon souls, Alice Madness returns, Lollipop Chainsaw, Folklore, Asura Wrath, Deus Ex human revolution and all my ps3 games physicial so i dont have problem with trophies right?, because with this games trophies pop with no problem, am i right?
