Returnal done! 
What a stellar game! Best PS5 exclusive and it might even earned a place in my top 10 games of all time. 
The RNG collectibles were slightly annoying but I enjoyed every minute going for the platinum. 
 

Technically I could finish the challenge because I got the Stray platinum last week and it has a 6/10 rating on PStrophies.org, but I’m going to use Mafia II as my 6/10 game, which is a more realistic rating than Stray I think. 
I’m also swapped some games that I already did so that my list is a more accurate reflection of the games that enjoyed going for the platinum tier.

Platinum #241! 9/10 Difficulty - Returnal!

I have now officially completed the challenge and am  tier! ! I didn't know when I set this up if I'd even be able to complete it myself, much less have so many of you join and complete it! You guys are awesome and have made this a ton of fun! I definitely plan on doing it again next year Returnal was fun, loved the art style and combat, could have wished for a few QOL changes like collectibles having their own unique mini-map icons, but overall a great experience that shows what the PS5 can do.

Anyways, I have made some progress so only have one difficulty tier left. Not sure If I'll stick with Crash 4 as the last game needed, so might see if there are any other 9's I'd rather play instead.

Decided to get a month of Ps Plus in order to get the easy platinums I was missing, downloaded 2 and finished them so now I have a #1 and switched Kawaii Death Desu for M'S-MMM.

I am hoping this challenge really kicks me into gear with playing some more challenging games I have been putting off for a long time.

Well its been almost 3 and a half months since my last update but I finally finished La-Mulana with a few detours on the way there. I stayed up too late to finish this and got distracted for hours on end, but hey I finally complete all the games. La-Mulana is still one of my favorite games with this actually being my first time going for a full completion. Always a great experience and a game I believe everyone should try at least once.  @Rebourne07 10 out of 10 games complete.

Starting to creep into the tough games now, we'll be working on Doom (1993) next.

I actually started up a list for this challenge, even though I won't be able to get any high-difficulty ranks started due to how difficult these games are and how long it will take me to finish. So I will try to go for the low-end spectrum and just get the bronze trophy for 7 difficulties out of 10. I did get six games out of seven, if I can find a good 5/10 I can call it a year.

Gonna remodel my list a bit here with some new (and old) contenders:

First, just finished Psychonauts 2 and found a site where it's rated a 4/10, so Bully is being replaced.

Next is the fairly unknown Elden Ring, which I completed a few months back, replacing Rain World in the 7/10, since I've decided I'm gonna take my time with Rain World now knowing what kind of unique game it is and I don't want to spoil the experience with a guide. 

Lastly, Salt & Sanctuary is replaced with Sayonara Wild Hearts in the 5/10 place. I finished SWH way back in January but the game left such a huge impact on me, I wanted to put it on the list. Sorry S&S, you are still my favorite 2D Dark Souls clone.

 

As of now I'm playing Hades and loving it so far so unless some unknown masterpiece with a 6/10 difficulty shows up it's staying on the list, and I'm also still keeping Splasher on until I have decided if I got the fortitude to beat Doom 2 on nightmare coop.
