i played devil may cry 5 today most of the time as vergil i play the game until its fully done base game+dlc at moment at 45% right now i play also persona 5 original 32% i add this game to my first list when i signed me up for this event so those two games i going to try tl unlock the platinum trophie its decided i play those two games until they are done then its the turn to detroit become human4% and kingdom of amalur ps4 version1%

 Blacksmith of the Sand Kingdom - PS5 

One in the Vault. Quite an enjoyable game with a surprisingly good mix of RPG elements and Shop Simulator. I also like that even at max level, victory isn't assured. You have to make sure you have the right mix of classes and the best equipment so you can to pull out a win against the bosses. 

Highly recommend you have a Thief in your party cause you will need to steal off everything including the bosses at least once for one of the trophies.

As a result, not much progress on my list.

Wolfenstein 2 is done. And how do I feel about that? Meh, it's just another game. Oh you ingrate! How dare you not feel over the moon about an accomplishment some people can only dream of. And, to those folk, would you rather I lied to you? I don't let a number in a trophy guide or the percentage of a platinum/100% on this site dictate my feelings towards obtaining all trophies in a game. But I'll reserve my bragging rights by sticking it in my trophy cabinet.

 

I find more satisfaction in getting all the trophies for a game you truly love, like The Last Of Us for me. Heck! I even enjoyed Surgeon Simulator more than this. It was free, and a jolly good comedic throw back to 90s British PC gaming. Didn't even think with Surgeon Simulator oh this is a hard game, look at the plat percentage. I just played it and got the plat. That's kind of what I did with Wolfenstein 2. Played and got plat/100%. I know, very romantic.

 

I guess the question does present though when I pull off these feats of, I'm I a more skilled gamer on average? The answer is always I don't give a shit. I just play games and get trophies because I like playing games and getting trophies. There's nothing of great profundity here, it's a hobby, a pastime .

 

Anyway, why was Wolfenstein 2 sitting unfinished on my profile? Well, until recently I wasn't that serious with my profile. I've been on and off for years just doing random games. Wolfenstein 2 was a game I just could not be arsed with putting the effort in, and having a real beef with the Mein Leben trophy. It was after going over the 90 platinum's mark I finally said to myself ok, time to get this done. As I wasn't about to pass the 100 plats mark with it still being unresolved.

 

How do I actually feel about Wolfenstein 2 as a game? I'd be here all day bitching a whining about yet another modern games studio who doesn't have a clue what true difficulty is. But at least the gun play is fun. I'll just summarise my feelings with the ending scene from one of my favourite films. Come and See.

So, the update. Biomutant - Done. Tiny Tinas Wonderlands - Done. God of War Ragnarök - Done. We have a 3 for 1 special today.

No review for Ragnarök other than, the game is great. 9.5 / 10 you should play it!

 

Biomutant:

Biomutant feels weird. It's just too much. Sometimes it feels like whenever the devs had a team meeting and someone had a remotly good idea - they went ahead and implemented it. 

The weapon crafting was fun at first, but then I made a shotgun that was so broken everything became trivial.

Not a big fan of the weird language and having a narrator translate everything for you, it kills the character of the people you meet imo.

Trophy wise you don't need to finish the game, everything can be done before reaching the endboss, but some of the trackers for the PS5 version are bugged, or the various wildlife you need to catch don't count every time you catch one. I grabbed at least 30 fireflies before the trophy popped.

Overall it's still okay-ish. Maybe a 4 / 10. At least that's my rating for forgetable games. It's fun every now and then, but that's it.

 

Tiny Tinas Wonderlands:

Oh boy, where do I start? The good things probably. Sometimes the Borderlands humor is shining trough. Thats it.

I don't know why I keep supporting Gearbox, probably some kind of weird kink.

The game is shit on PS4, the PS5 version I've played first was better.

I had soooo many crashes when doing a trivial thing - opening up my inventory. Every other time it would crash, to a point where I restored the database of my console, because that's the only possible solution Gearbox ever provided for that problem. But it didn't help.

Not being able to compare my loot in a game based around loot collection was the first gut punch.

Then there's the insanly overpriced DLC shit. They charge 10 bucks for each.

What do you get for that price?

4 maps you have to play 4 times to get the two trophies for each pack. 

2 / 10 - don't play it if youre not a fan.

 

I'm also doing a 2 for 1 special with swaps. Swapping out Elden Ring and 9 Monkeys of Shaolin for One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 and Cyberpunk 2077, both unstarted.

The reason I'm swapping 9 Monkeys of Shaolin is because I simply don`t feel like playing it, and Elden Ring is going to be the next milestone platinum, which I wont reach in time for this challenge.

 

In total I am missing 105 trophies out of the last 3 games (Monster Energy Supercross 5 - 20, OP Pirate Warriors 4 - 40 and Cyberpunk -45) which puts the percentage up to 69(nice).74%. An increase off 25%, but it's also been nearly two weeks since the last update and no work.

Next update is going to be either this or next sunday.

The fact they still developed an idea and implemented it is commendable, even if the end result is far from perfect. CD Projekt Red and Cyberpunk 77 on the other hand, they were probably more focused on bringing their dog or cat to work.

i like to say happy holidays folks  i decided this going to be my list enter the gungeon1% the witness0% not started yet but i take it from playstation home event on ps store when it was free sorry for changing my list so often but i was not sure if i can finish those games in time so this is my list going to look like the witness0% biomutant0% enter the gungeon 1% darksiders 2 1% yooka laylee10% those trophies are really fun its far more fun then i played for achievements on the laptop that was boring as hell but i changed to ps4 2 years ago so now i have fun with trophies i like ps4 very much and i have alot of games to play sorry for changing my list so many times but this wil be my list for this event for real this time

Tales of Arise: Cleared the main story. I went ahead and upgraded my accessories in the final dungeon. This multiplied my damage by 10 and made most of the enemies and bosses much more bearable. They weren't hard, but took forever to kill before the upgrade. So it was definitely worth it and I should've done this earlier. Now it's time to start the last side quests and post game story, then wrap up the grind.

 

I have the next 3 weeks off of work, so there should be much more progress. Now that the story of Tales of Arise is out of the way, I'll soon start my second long game. If things go as planned, I'll have Arise at 100%, another lengthy game done (Ys VIII or Crystar) and at least one of the shorter games done by the time I have to go back to work.

You've basically summarized my feelings towards KingsIsle and their main property, Wizard101. Every time I tried to open a menu, the game crashed. So now I have disowned the company and will send them a scathing e-mail about beta-testing. (I know they are all getting drunk for New Year's, so I shouldn't fault them, but damn that launcher is memory expensive, if they want me to drop my free memory down to 10 KB, they need to fix the blasted thing. ??)

 

Anyways, MMOs aside(speaking of, I won't go back onto FFXIV until either patch 6.5, or they bring back the Yo-Kai watch collab, which was super-cool and why I got into the game in the first place), I have nothing to add today, the final day of 2022. What the--- ? I can't read this list and I think Midnight can't either. There's a button on the taskbar that lets you create unordered or ordered lists. Can I ask you to use it to make your list more readable? I know it sounds a bit difficult, but trust me, people will like it if you have an organized list. At the very least, boldface your game names so we can see them in wall of text. Please forgive me if I sound condescending, I just think Midnight would like to see what games you are playing but can't because they are buried in a wall of text.

Really isn't an update as I haven't budged a single trophy from this list which is quite sad and annoying, but had some recent events that really hurt my available free time. So I'm a bit torn on playing games from this list (which are bought and are supposedly for ever) and playing games from the PS+ library that are temporary, as well as games that are getting delisted/shutdown, as I can't alternate between both anymore. 

All of January could go on like this (still hoping to finish 2/3 of these) but February should be quite free to be able to boost all the rest.

Believe it or not I vaule mine as well. It's why I took the dragging it out approach for Mein Leben. That being as I've said doing a few levels, pause.

 

While I'am able to with regularity put in 16 hour gaming sessions, Mein Leben wasn't something I wanted to do that with. It was only once I had reached a critical point of where what I constituted as being progress and success with Mein Leben was actually getting the trophy. It then was time to up my daily commitment and effort.

 

It then once I done that took me about 3 days to get it. Dying on the final fight twice.....

 

Still, even doing Mein Leben day in day out for a month is psychologically challenging. Being a high functioning autistic individual though, I do probably have an incredible amount of mental fortitude for this sort of shit. A lifetime of being forced into a position of extreme self reliance, or you will be forced into a position of extreme dependency on family and others if you don't. I'm sure many HFA people can relate to that. It's both a curse and a blessing having such a high level of intensity.

 

You think Wolfenstein 2 and Mein Leben would be enough of an extreme to burden myself with for one challenge, but nooooo. I had to put Frostpunk in well! Which is actually legitimately difficult....

 

Maybe I should just put Super Meat Boy in as well before sign ups end. Joking... joking.....

 

Seriously, I do want to do Super Meat Boy, but just don't want to overload myself. Maybe I should just start inventing excuses for why I don't play legitimately difficult games with difficult or grindy trophy lists. It would make my life easier, but that's not my style.

(I know they are all getting drunk for New Year's, so I shouldn't fault them, but damn that launcher is memory expensive, if they want me to drop my free memory down to 10 KB, they need to fix the blasted thing. )

 

Anyways, MMOs aside(speaking of, I won't go back onto FFXIV until either patch 6.5, or they bring back the Yo-Kai watch collab, which was super-cool and why I got into the game in the first place), I have nothing to add today, the final day of 2022. Yeah, I put up my extended list a few days ago, Midnight, so no worries.

What the--- ? I can't read this list and I think Midnight can't either. There's a button on the taskbar that lets you create unordered or ordered lists. Can I ask you to use it to make your list more readable? I know it sounds a bit difficult, but trust me, people will like it if you have an organized list. At the very least, boldface your game names so we can see them in wall of text. Please forgive me if I sound condescending, I just think Midnight would like to see what games you are playing but can't because they are buried in a wall of text.

okay i am a starter trophie hunter my current trophie lvl is 277 i have put a list 1 hour ago  so i never joined a event before so its first time for me with the list i created must i play them until they are done and then a update but i can platinum games but just certain games not all of them i meant with hard games but normal easy games should be no problem i joined this site 2 years ago i only have trouble with hard games when playing on a higher difficulty like devil hunter mode from devil may cry 5 i am.a starter in gaming so i hope i can be better gamer with this event
