Popular Post Taruta13
No comment. Anyways, I decided to just flip it and transferred the World of Final Fantasy save from my Vita to the PS4 version on my PS5 because I am not going to waste my life with battles that take longer due to having to show off a little cutscene before every one. Thankfully the version on my PS5 does not have the Maxima update or I would have had to start the whole game over again. (I have a save in Cornelia at the beginning of the game, as I am storming the goblin camp.)
Popular Post KimBongUn420
Update 2: after playing way too much WoW (Dragonflight is actually pretty solid so far, surprisingly), I'm finally turning my attention back to my backlog. #163: Atelier Sophie DX Difficulty: 4/10 Grind: 6/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 As I've mentioned before, this game is pretty far off the beaten track from what I usually play, and I had a good time with it right up until the postgame dungeon. I've played enough JRPGs to know that postgame dungeons come with a gear and difficulty spike but this one was so obnoxiously large (and insufferably boring) that it completely destroyed any enjoyment I had. It also didn't help that the entire postgame dungeon consists of beating one boss, with some minor mini-boss trash mobs before it. Thankfully it only took about 5 hours to get all of my gear leveled up to beat the boss and be done with the game. I did like the crafting/alchemy parts, which are very well designed, and even though the platinum is a grind, it's not overly so. World building and story were very serviceable, especially by indie or AA game standards. The game is also quite relaxing to play, right up until the postgame. Would I play another Atelier game? Maybe, at some point, since they're all different from each other. But it will probably be a few months before I do it. I honestly don't know whether to recommend this game, because the Atelier series is so extremely niche, and this game is as deeply flawed as it is fun. Definitely not at full price, but on sale...maybe give it a go. Progress: Made it to WRC2 level of WRC 9, so about 15 hours to go and I should be done. Still having a great time with it. Very minor progress on Mirror's Edge Catalyst About 10 hours into Ruined King, and I'm already ready for it to be over. I have absolutely no idea why this game got as much praise as it did. This game is completely and utterly destroyed by its terrible, TERRIBLE boss fights. Every one so far has required a very specific cheese strategy to beat on Heroic, and even then it's an RNGfest whether the boss randomly does an AOE attack that one hitter quitters your whole team. The difficulty spikes on Heroic are also so bad that I honestly think the devs didn't playtest their own game. It's even more damning that this game was designed by a team that has extensive experience designing turn-based RPGs. It's so badly designed that it is coming close to venturing into "don't recommend at any price" territory, which is rarefied air for me. Also, nearly every single zone transition has a 5-10 second loading screen, which is hilariously inexcusable and doubly so for a game that was designed to run on the Switch. The PS4 version is extremely badly optimized. Massively disappointed with this one, even more so given it had tons of potential with the world building and lore. Swapping out Kingdoms of Amalur: ReReckoning for the PS5 version of The Witcher 3. Couldn't resist jumping back into the Witcher, but there are (right now) some significant downgrades from the PS4 version. Roach is back to being dumb Roach again and the game freezes severely for several seconds every time you try to save it. More polish was clearly needed, which is going to be CDPR's epitaph at this point. Hopefully there will be patches soon. Plans for Next Week: finish Ruined King and nuke it from my hard drive work on WRC 9 work on Witcher 3 List: GoW Ragnarok [PS5] - 8% Atelier Sophie DX - 64% -> (Dec 12) Mirror's Edge Catalyst - 5% -> 7% Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning The Witcher 3 [PS5] - 0% -> 7% Ruined King: A League of Legends Story - 0% -> 10% WRC 9 [PS5] - 40% -> 50% Games Completed: 1/6 Trophies: 96/307 (31.3%) Swaps: 1/3 Additional Games (not part of the challenge) Gran Turismo 7 [PS5] - 74% Assassin's Creed Unity - 65% -> 69% Edited January 3, 2023 by KimBongUn420

Zero is structured really rigidly, so you should be pretty skilled enough at it from a couple of playthroughs. The real plat breaker is the leech hunting. Oh leech hunting.... Annoying as it can be, you should get the hang of it as well just sticking at it. Stupid leeches.

Lately, I found myself relying on YouTube walkthrough guides to save time. I just do as the video demonstrates. I did the majority of trophies for the first resident evil game and it was a grind. So, I somewhat expected the same with Zero, but I didn't know it was for leeches-hunting mode until now when you told me. The GIF? The postgame bosses and level grind were a lot easier than I thought and it was nice to see some cameos from other Tales games. Overall, it was a fun game, but the battle system could use some polishing. The way I made it work was by just bypassing the battles and more or less instantly defeating enemies by getting strong accessories. Next up is Crystar.

Popular Post YaManSmevz
Update #4 1/1/23 Ayyyy Happy New Year, y'all! At this point we're all ushered in, though I imagine the homies in Australia being like "Yeah it's been a new year for a few days now, get on with your life people." December ended just as I'd hoped, with both the first two God of War games as well as the mighty Grand Theft Auto IV biting the dust! Crazy thing about GTA IV, I thought for sure that 30 hours would be tight for the speedrun, but I pulled it off in 10 - I was impressed with myself, thinking "shit, am I a speed runner??" Then I looked at actual speed runner times... and no, no I am not? Alright! I'm thinking it's time to start taking XCOM, Red Dead, and Enslaved a lil more seriously and get those percentages up, but new year, new game - I wanna play me some Dead Space! Looking forward to a solid month of progress and great updates from my lovely co-challengers! Hope everybody had a great holiday season and is ready to hit the grindstone once again. Let's get it? 1. Grand Theft Auto IV (91-->100%)✅️2. XCOM: Enemy Within (3%)3. Dead Space (0%)4. God of War (91-->100%)✅️5. God of War II (1-->100%)✅️6. Dynasty Warriors 7 (0%)7. Red Dead Redemption (18-->21%)8. I actually platinumed another A.M. game, the recent Crime Secrets game, for New Year's Eve because I didn't want Sakura Succubus VI holding the spot of last platinum of 2022, almost failed because of a damn softlock that happens if you try to approach a door without all the jewels. At least they decided to give up on making you 100% all of the puzzles without skips. I'll be finishing up story mode in Skywalker Saga this week too as the collectibles will take AGES to get(you have to get 1200 Kyber Bricks!) and I want to play a speedrun video of LEGO Star Wars while suffering through the original trilogy. WoFF will have to wait in line until AGDQ2022 Online because I have a lot of games to burn through this month. Happy New Year's Day, everyone! December was a bit of a slow one gaming wise, and that isn't going to speed up any time soon, but this is okay, I'm still planning to get all of these games done before the end of march. I'll find the time somewhere. Somewhere amongst that time, I'm going to have to find time to fix my ever growing backlog of reviews that I've gotten a little behind on..... Oops I added another two games because..... Why not, Dark Nights with Poe and Munroe, because I'm likely to want to play it after The Shapeshifting Detective, and the Order 1886, because well.......To be perfectly honest, I could never find a price for The Order that I particularly liked... Until my awesome girlfriend, stepped in and was like" Do you want to play my disc version" ....... Yes, I thought, yes I do. Speaking of that awesome girlfriend, @Redblaziken8 and I managed to successfully knock out the online multiplayer component of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, and all we have left is the definitely not an insult to the Resident Evil franchise campaign mode... - this is the lows we will sink to, to play one more Resident Evil game together, it seems ? We also managed to find each other in Journey, and played that together, which was pretty fantastic. We both had to do initial playthroughs by ourselves, but the second time through we managed to find each other..... It's one of those games that I'm quite looking forward to writing about in a bit more detail, because I basically got to experience it three different ways, and whilst one was definitely preferable, playing it through the whole way the third time for collectibles with a complete stranger added an additional layer to the experience that I really enjoyed. So honestly, if you spend some of your gaming years living under a rock like I apparently do, and have still yet to play Journey, it's still an absolutely worthwhile experience in 2022/2023. I've barely played any Titanfall 2 as of yet, I also knocked out the online trophies in that, but stupidly attempted Becomes the Master after very little sleep and an incredibly long day...... So I'm going to have to sit down and really take a decent crack at that game, when I can set aside a decent chunk of time for it I did manage to get all of Puyo Puyo Champions finished though...... Which was A GAME..... That's about all you can say about it really, it's quite fun, but the trophy list is offensively grindy, this'll teach me for developing Stockholm syndrome whilst playing the minigame in Yakuza 6 and Judgment, and deciding..... Yes..... I'd love to play a whole game based on just that I've made some pretty decent progress on Nexomon though, in fact I got completely hooked on it when I was playing it.... If any of you ever want to scratch that Pokemon-esque itch, then this definitely will do the trick, It's one of those games that is a shameless clone of something else, but it also absolutely knows that it is, and leans into it, and as a result has some real charm, This is one I'm really looking forward to diving back into when I get the chance. Popular Post Bumperklever
Update #4 Medal of honor Simply put, I got from level 9 -> 12 in multiplayer. I need level 15 for my last trophy and the plat. Babylon's fall I only did 1 mission chain, but I noticed that there is an event were you can get divine relics as a daily. So I got one and used it. weapon is low on power level (of course) but good enough to pop me a trophy. The misc trophies for defeating an enemy with certain weapons and stuff are all done. But in the end this game is just a. finish story mode, b. do some grinding afterwards and nothing really more. Slowly but steady getting progress towards this game. Medal of honor: warfighter Here is where my big chunk of progress went in this week, I got from 0% to 100% done in regards of the MP. That was lots and lots of grinding, but I got it done within a week! 99% I was just boosting and I rate the "just sitting there and kill alts" experience a 6/10. Sure it is boring, but atleast selecting different weapons every 20 kills was I guess a bit of variation I also had some more progress in the story mode, which I can only describe as, I don't even know what is happening anymore. I found it funny how some missions are just like 1 minute long orso and others get to the extend of "is it finally done? ah no.. :'( ". Hard mode is a bit harder then MoH 2010, as well as having a lot more sections were it is just spamming guys till no end. I think it looks great though due to been made in the frostbite engine. I think this hardcore mode will be harder then what I experienced in MoH 2010, but that won't stop me. Progress on this challenge: Babylon's Fall (PS5): 14% -> 15% -> 37% Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (PS3): 14% Driver: San Fransisco (PS3): 30% Far Cry 2 (PS3): 37% Front Mission: Evolved (PS3): 23% Medal Of Honor (PS3): 0% -> 67% -> 75% -> 97% Medal Of Honor: Warfighter (PS3): 0% -> 15% -> 55% Ratchet Deadlocked (PS3): 32%
Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Update 4: Farming Simulator 16 (Vita) - 7% Skylanders Superchargers (PS4) - 100% F1 22 (PS4) - 34% => 87% Biomutant (PS4) - 100% Tales of Symphonia (PS3) - 20% Happy New Year Peeps!! Let's start it off with a little bit of progress update. I made quite a big jump in F1 22 trophy-wise, but there's still a lot to do. Apparently "winning a 25% race in wet condition" in My Team (career) doesn't count for the trophy eventhough the race was full wet from start to finish (according to my engineer it was starting to ease up by the end but everyone was still on full wet tires). Eh, it just means I'll have to do one extra race outside of My Team. 2 seasons almost done and I have to do 2 more (or 1.5 at least). Then some misc. trophies. I also started Tales of Symphonia back up today and spent a few hours in it. I think I got my bearings and starting to realize which titles I can still clean up (I even got 2 titles today, no trophy tho) before moving on to my second run. This game is starting to feel like one of those games that is ok on the first run then I take a break for half a year and start loving it when I pick it back up again for clean up/second run (happened with Bioshock and Final Fantasy XIII). I will try to play this once or twice a week from now on so I don't lose track of it again, but won't start my second run till my other games are done which brings me to... I will probably wind down with Farming Sim after dinner and might end up getting a couple of trophies tonight still. I'm close to sowing/harvesting 10 hectares. I played the game here and there a bit since my last update. I think I got most of my farm equipment and land that I need (might upgrade a tractor or two more), I just have to buy something to cut the trees down. I started milk production and close to starting on wool. And that will be it really, just keep doing these things till I meet the requirements. I think I've done quite well during my break, I might have been able to do more but I can't complain really. Tomorrow it's back to the grind like most everyone and progress will be slowed to a crawl probably. If I can knock out both F1 22 and FS 16 in January I will consider it a good month. Take Care Folks!

Popular Post Hurricane_Tanya
Update no. 4. I’ve only played Miles Morales from my list recently, I got stuck doing some other trophies for another event for a while, but that’s all finished with now. - Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star - 100%- Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge - 23%- Never Alone - 100%- Spider-Man: Miles Morales - 24% >> 73%- Ghost of Tsushima - 0% >> Sam and Max: Beyond Time and Space PS3 - 20%- Titanfall 2 - 39% - The Swapper - 15% - Doki-Doki Universe - 100% 1/3 Swaps I’ve finished the story of Miles Morales, I have a couple post game missions left to do to finish 100% of the game, but trophy wise I need to do a new game plus run as well. I think I’ll turn the difficulty down to Amazing, maybe even Friendly, and see how fast I can get through the story. Then it’s on to Titanfall 2 again. I’ve been loving the gameplay of that game, but that gauntlet can get in the bin. As someone who’s only experience of fps games is the much slower Fallout games I don’t think I’ve ever had such an impossible feeling trophy before. I’d rather do the classic race from Mafia for a full game than this (no I wouldn’t because that sounds pretty boring actually) Also I kind of forgot that I had Ghost of Tsushima on my list, I also forgot that GoT has a whole multiplayer DLC. I have a group of friends willing to play it with me, but they’re not wanting to start it yet and I don’t want to rush them. I also don’t think I want to rush through the story, so I’m swapping it out for Sam and Max: Beyond Time and Space PS3. It’s one of those old episodic games where the episodes have their own trophy lists, but I’ve finished 1 episode out of 5 which is 20% of the way through Edited January 2, 2023 by Hurricane_Tanya
Popular Post reaperveteran86
Update 4 - Spyro 2: Ripto`s Rage 0% -> 100% - Japanese Rail Sim: Journey to Kyoto 0% - WILL: A Wonderful World (EU) 1% - LEGO The Incredibles 100% - Anno: Mutationem 10% - Assassin`s Creed: Brotherhood (PS4) 23% - Sword and Fairy 6 (EU) 8% -> 100% - Sword and Fairy 7: Together Forever (PS4) 100% - Star Wars: Bounty Hunter 42% - Star Ocean: First Departure R 1% - Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights 21% - Left Alive 5% Happy New Year. Over the holidays I finished 2 games from my list: Sword and Fairy 6 (last platinum of 22) and Spyro 2: Ripto`s Rage (first platinum of 23). I really liked Sword and Fairy 6. The characters and story are even better as in part 7 (in my opinion) but the game is so full of technical deficits that it was nearly unplayable at times. I got the fun kind of glitches (one NPC doesn`t have a walking animation so he slides in and out of his cutscenes, one of your party members has a childmodel in flashbacks that flickers everytime she moves), the troublesome but you get used to it kind of glitches (constant slowdowns and stuttering, some button presses doesn`t register) and the gamebreaking ones (Can`t access the save menu, the camera is fixated on one point and doesn`t move, the characters stand in a row in an empty room after loading a new area). Luckily, after closing, restarting and loading an old save the gamebreaking glitches disappear. I never played the original so this was my first time playing Spyro 2:Ripto`s Rage. The game was fun and looks great, but the gameplay shows that it is an older game (similar to the Medievil remake). The game was easy for the most part, but it has some difficult spikes (2. boss fight without healing, thieves in the Mystic Marsh level). The plat requires 4 playthroughs, but playthrough 2+ requires beating only the last few chapters of the game.

Popular Post iXanon
Update #4 Oh, hello 2023. I hope that everyone's had a pleasant Christmas and New Year. There's not much progress to report on this time around other than some further progress in Driver: San Francisco (PS3). The challenges and dares are taking a little longer than expected to get through.. Nearly a month down, and no games scratched off the list as yet. I need to try and pull my finger out a bit! Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (PS4) - 25% BirdCakes (PS4) - NEW > 28% > 65% Driver: San Francisco (PS3) - 32% > 34% > 51% > 67% Duke Nukem Forever (PS3) - 37%* Heavy Rain (PS3) - 11% Jak II (PS3) - 18% Sephirothic Stories (PS4) - 5% Watch Dogs (PS4) - 29% > 38% > 41% > 87%
Taruta13
20 hours ago, Taruta13 said: Dark Cloud 2 Persona 5 Royal (PS4) Eventide: Slavic Fable Eventide 2: Sorcerer's Mirror Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends Queen's Quest 2: Stories of Forgotten Past Queen's Quest 3: The End of Dawn: 0% -> 100% Queen's Quest 4: The Sacred Truce: 0% -> 100% LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga: 12% World of Final Fantasy: 5% So another two games off the list and thank goodness for that! Now we can spend the rest of the event trying to get platinums in the other two games. Actually working on Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily, and thanks to 90% of the trophies being story-related(aka they giffed all of the puzzle trophies so we don't have to do much), I am able to actually enjoy the story. Popular Post brdpls
Week 1 Update Assassin's Creed Revelations (PS4) - Start: 42% > 42% Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4) - Start: 11% > 11% What Remains of Edith Finch (PS5) - Start: 9% > 9% God of War [2018] (PS4) - Start: 4% > 4% Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS4) - Start: 4% > 7% Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD (PS4) - Start: 0% > 0% Life is Strange 2 (PS4) - Start: 0% > 0% Life is Strange: True Colors (PS4) - Start: 0% > 0% Ratchet & Clank (PS3) - Start: 0% > 0% The Order: 1886 (PS4) - Start 0% > 0% Didn't have a lot of time due to the holidays - however, my gameplan for this upcoming week is to get further along in both Spider-Man and WRoEF, as those are both games that I've completed before, so I'm familiar with their trophy lists. From there, I'll probably attack AC:R since it's the same situation with that game as well and I'm near the end of the story, so it'll mostly consist of clean-up.
