Popular Post neospoon
Update #1 - Stray - 100% (278) - MediEvil - 13% - We Happy Few - 14% - Olliolli2 - 32% - Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist - 41% It took me a while to get to my first update. Had a lot of other stuff to do and found out Biomutant was on plus and that game was on my radar for a decent amount of time. Decided to give it a go, and I never looked back… Not that it was the greatest game ever but I kind of enjoyed it for wat it was. Stray 32% > 100% Easily the best game I’ve played this year. It took me a while to start it and then a while to pick it back up again and finish it! I don’t know where to begin with this. The game looks really nice and the controls are pretty smooth! The story I really enjoyed but most important I could push stuff off ledges and say “meow” If you haven’t tried this game yet, I would recommend it for sure! Wether you like cats or not, the game is just really fun… What’s next? Ive dipped a little into OlliOlli2 but man that game is pretty difficult. I will definitely keep trying but since there’s no real story to it I’ll just play it in between the other games. I might eventually even swap it out for something else. I think this next week I will play MediEvil. Sadly I’m not a huge fan of the remake, but I’ll just have to push myself through it at some point. We Happy Few got loads of bad reviews and comments, but somehow I really like it! Splinter Cell will have to wait for a bit as I think I will play MediEvil and We Happy Few first! That’s it for my first update. I’ll try and get another one done soon! I love reading everyone’s progress, so keep it coming! Have fun! Popular Post Vulpine9Tails
Saturday update: 1. New Tales From the Borderlands - 17% -> 71% 2. God of War Ragnarok - 100% 3. The Last of Us Part 1 Remake - 100% 4. A Plague Tale Requiem - 100% 5. Chorus - 25% -> 27% Finished a blind playthrough of Borderlands and I regret not following a guide for the skateboard rating. I got the neutral ending due to my relationships being good but I only had 63% skateboard rating when I needed 80%. I found a text guide on TrueAchievements that I will follow on a fresh playthrough for the best ending and then another couple times for the remaining endings. It's going to be rough because I despise all of the characters except maybe Fran I can tolerate. This may end up being swapped tbh and I already accept I'm not going to make it to 80% by the end of the month. Chorus is fun but I get motion sick after a couple missions so this one may also end up not getting finished. Oh well.

I'll probably work on The Quarry a bit since I want it to be my 9000th trophy, but I've still got a ways to get there, so I'll probably play some Mass Effect and Arcade Spirits too.

Popular Post SwiftlyPaws
Second update Evil West PS5 - 0% Far Cry 4 - 0% -> 8% Lego The Hobbit - 0% New Tales from the Borderlands PS5 - 0% -> Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 - 22% 31% The Quarry PS5 - 0% So I finished my first game for the event, New Tales from the Borderlands, it’s a little different then the first but it’s a fun game. The collectibles are very easy to find and I only needed a guide for the different endings. Also started Far Cry 4, it amazes me how good it looks and how fast the fast travelling is, playing on PS5. I’ve played it a long time ago on PS3 but can’t remember anything, so it’s like a new game for me ?
Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
Ladies, Gentlemen and everybody else, it's time for update number three, including the first 100% of the event, so buckle up, there's a review coming. But first, I've got a question for y'all, do you thing House Flipper did a good job teaching you how to assemble furniture? Exactly... and that's why I use Skillshare, this weeks sponsor. With tons of different classes, there's the right class for everyone and everything that you'd like to learn. Like how to use a manual, or phone an expert, instead of trying to do everything on your own. Use promo code "teachmesenpai" for nothing at all, and with that - back to the update. I've finished Grid Legends, 1 done - 7 to go. Let me start with the positives: Well, with that out of the way, let me list all the things that I enjoyed at first, but turned into a mixture of boredness and agony: With every racing game, the story is alright on the surface, but really bad if you look a bit deeper. And it comes down to a single thing - sport isn't scripted. So sadly there's no payoff for coming first, even if the objective is coming 9th. The story gave me Williams F1 "return to glory" vibes, but having no real character even though you're carrying the team and no reward for over achieving killed it during the later stages. Career mode has no real sense of progression, other than steadily, but very slowly, driving faster and faster cars. It's honestly worse than the grind you had to do in the first grid game, because other than career mode, you could always rubberband it if you wanted to. The grind itself at the end isn't even that bad, you can just run 1 lap races around an oval for the cars you're missing. Driving feels off, and I couldn't put my finger on it at first, but now I can: There's no way for you to feel what the car is doing. Normally you get some vibrations or some other feedback in the triggers, but Grid doesn't have that. When playing without ABS or TC it's really important to get those feedbacks, and they should be easily noticeable. The way they did it in Grid: making the edges of the camera shake when you're locking up the brakes, and that's not really helpful. The nemesis system sucks. On paper it looks like a neat idea, but then you have to remember that Grid tries to be a somewhat serious racing series in game. So what does the system do? If you hit another driver to often, they get angry and become your nemesis, so far so good. What they start doing isn't okay though. They hit you in the back, drive in front of you and most annoyinly, they sideswipe you. Which was really bad in open wheelers, because the tyres constantly hooked together spinning both cars out. The AI has a more interesting race than you do, and what I mean by that is simple. They can have failures, you can't. Sometimes they lose a wheel, sometimes the engine blows up. Sometimes they hit the handbrake and turn straight left even though we're on a straight. You can do the last part as a player, but even with damage activated, you need to drive with 150+ mph into the wall and even that wasn't terminal damage all the time. But let me get this straight, even though the positives aren't really memorable, it's still an okay-ish game, it's just not really fun for completion. If you're only want to go for the story, I would recomment it, but it's losing it's charme after the first 5 hours quite quickly. Overall rating 4 / 10. Next game is Biomutant, can`t really say much just yet. It needs more work to be a good game, that's for sure, but it's nothing bad so far. Got the first 10 trophies so far. Getting close to the halfway point of total trophies earned, with another 7% earned this week (44.18%) Last week of work ahead of me, and then it's time to focus on milestone #1050, which is going to be the God of War stack. No update next week, because Christmas! (At least none planned, maybe if something noteworthy happens. Popular Post Bumperklever
Update #2 I really haven't been playing a lot of games this week, however I got a little bit of progress on babylon's fall and medal of honor. I did get major progression on metal gear solid peacewalker, which is a game I played on the side, the current estimation would be that I can plat it in the upcoming week. Anyway, regarding this challenge: Babylon's fall I got chapter 2 now done. It's still not gonna be my game, due to the spongyness of the enemies. like for real, I thought the chapter 1 boss was bad, but I felt like the chapter 2 boss took me ages, but you still need to play mindfull. I get that getting upgrades on weapons and playing it in co-op are a few of the important things in the game, but it just feels like a slog. Medal of honor Just like last time, here are my time values: Mission 1: PAR: 25:00; My time: 17:08 Mission 2: PAR: 30:00; My time: 22:14 Mission 3: PAR: 20:00; My time: 15:43 Mission 4: PAR: 17:30; My time: 13:01 Mission 5: PAR: 25:00; My time: 21:52 Mission 6: PAR: 15:00; My time: 10:02 Mission 7: PAR: 12:30; My time: 10:06 Mission 8: PAR: 15:00; My time: 12:44 Mission 9: PAR: 28:30; My time: 21:33 And with that I finished of that mode, it was fun ngl I also scored pretty decent on the friends leaderboard with me reaching #1 on chapter 3 and got a lot of #2 and #3 places on a few missions. Progress on this challenge: Babylon's Fall (PS5): 14% -> 15% Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (PS3): 14% Driver: San Fransisco (PS3): 30% Far Cry 2 (PS3): 37% Front Mission: Evolved (PS3): 23% Medal Of Honor (PS3): 0% -> 67% -> 75% Medal Of Honor: Warfighter (PS3): 0% Ratchet Deadlocked (PS3): 32%
Popular Post Vulpine9Tails
Decisions have been made so I'm doing another update: 1. New Tales From the Borderlands - 71% 2. God of War Ragnarok - 100% 3. The Last of Us Part 1 Remake - 100% 4. A Plague Tale Requiem - 100% 5. Chorus - 27% -> 29% -> swapping for Gris - 0% I am finding Chorus boring and like I have no clue what I am doing so I'm putting it back on the backburner for now and swapping it for a game I've had my eye on for a while and it just so happens it falls within my budget to pick it up. I forgot it recently came out on PS5. As for Borderlands, it's a high enough percentage to incite me to keep working on it as annoying as it will be. I will slowly make my way through it throughout the week.

Popular Post iXanon
Update #3 I feel I've made up for the lacklustre Week #2 this week, and have made some good solid progress including a shiny new platinum for Watch Dogs.. ? I'll most likely put a temporary hold on doing the Bad Blood DLC, and focus my efforts on a couple of other games in between.. So far, both BirdCakes and Driver: San Francisco appear to be the games of choice - perhaps at least one other platinum is imminent for next week, but we'll see with it being Christmas and all. The story and characters are great and the game looks beautiful (with a few exceptions). The game has it`s janky moments (espeacily in the jumping minigame and the 3 short stealth sequences) and the feedback when yoi get hit could be better, but that dosen`t change a thing on the great time I had with this Action RPG. I also started Sword and Fairy 6 after I was done with part 7. The story is intriguing so far and the characters are likeable but the game has some serious performance issues (stuttering, character got stuck in environment, in one cutscene, one character decided he was to cool to walk out so he slided out of the scene, which made me laugh hard).

So I might have procrastinated a little bit this week on the Winter Backlog challenge... ended up 100%ing RDR1 and getting my 75th platinum instead. It's been in my backlog for 11 years so I think it was about time I completed it. Clean up was super fun and I got to try Undead Nightmare for the first time - RDR1 has aged really well and I really enjoyed the 100% for this one, plus the 100% in the main game is a lot easier than RDR2 which I also managed to get done this year - pretty nice bonus. Got the Watch Dogs platinum and 100% as well so I could make RDR a milestone. I also made some progress in the multiplayer for some other games like Dead Island and MW3 - I can't get away from boosting this year it seems ?. For the backlog stuff I managed to get the multiplayer for RE: ORC out of the way so me and @rjkclarke can get on with the definitely not terrible main campaign. And also managed to get a really awkward trophy in SR3 out of the way for uploading a character to online. Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Here's my update for the week. I've played a few shifts in Police Simulator and that actually got me quite some trophies! The game is still quirky and I like that I don't have to think about what I'm doing, and I can just play. I finished the story for Yakuza: Like A Dragon and what a dramatic story it was. I really enjoyed it! Now I have a bunch of miscellaneous trophies left and I need to level up a lot, so that I can beat the millennium tower. Will still be some time, but I'm hoping to finish it this week. Let's see how it goes. Have a great week everyone! 1. Police Simulator: Patrol Officers - 19% --> 42% 2. Narita Boy - 16% 3. Sonic Frontiers - 15% 4. God of War Ragnarök - 5% 5. I platinumed The Cult of The Lamb this morning; excellent little village management cross with rogue-lite dungeon diving with a great aesthetic. Reminded me quite a bit of both Death's Door and Oninaki. Still a little bit glitchy, but overall good game. Just getting started with Tales of Symphonia 2 now - it is time to build out a spreadsheet and make sure I know what I'm going to try to get before I start. Already beat it years ago on Wii so don't have to worry about spoilers. I just have the 4 bosses left (world eaters) and 3 side quests, but today I'm taking a break from the game. It has become a bit boring with basically no story or character development. You're given the setting at the beginning of the game and pretty much all you do is fetch quests throughout the whole game. I think that's the game's biggest problem. I did enjoy the first 50 hours tho, the last 5-10 not so much but beating the bosses should be fun. For now, I returned to Far Cry 5 to grind out the 5000 zombie kills AFK while doing other things (like writing about my progress here ). Tomorrow I'll pick Biomutant back up and more than likely finish it. Then I'll move on to Skylanders, I have already dug out the figures from the back of my closet. I will probably charge my Vita too later today. That's it for now, I probably won't update again this week. Happy Holidays Everyone!
