Popular Post Vulpine9Tails
I haven't updated in a while: 1) Cat Quest 2 -0% *SWAP* Vampyr -0% -> 11% 2) Ty the Tasmanian Tiger - 0% -> 17% 3) Meow Motors - 100% ☑️ 4) Hogwarts Legacy - 100% ☑️ 5) Evoland - 100% ☑️ Making my first swap because I just don't want to play 2 so soon after rushing through the first one (it's also like my second or third time going for the platinum). I may swap Ty out too because it's a little on the boring side, but given we have a whole month left I should still be ok to complete it as slow as I'm going. I randomly decided to play Vampyr last night and it seems half decent so I'll switch it in. Edited July 30, 2023 by Vulpine9Tails

Gives some incentive and motivation to clear backlog. Below is my list I'm looking to knock out: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3; 100%) Dead Rising (PS4; 7%) -> SWAP -> Bugsnax (PS5, 0%) The Chant (PS5; 100%) Sinking City (PS4; 100%) Home Sweet Home (PS4; 100%) ✅ If I read the post correctly about double-platinums, then I'll add the following: What Remains of Edith Finch (PS5; 100%) Artful Escape (PS4; 100%) Martha Is Dead (PS4; 0%) Road 96 (PS4; 100%) Chicken Police: Paint it Red! (PS5; 100%) The Longest Road on Earth (PS4; 0%) Kona (PS5; 0%) Gris (PS5; 100%) Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS4; 0%) Lake (PS4; 100%) Update 1 (6/6/23): Games with “” have been complete. Love The Artful Escape with the writing, voice acting, and music. Art style is great. Definitely an underrated gem. I forgot just how incredible What Remains of Edith Finch is. Absolutely brilliant on every level. Need to find and play more walking sims like it.Update 2 (6/7/23): As a film noir fan, Chicken Police is perfect and I need more for that franchise. Gris is the most beautiful game I've ever played; the art is perfect.Update 3 (6/19/23): Took a good break, but finished playthrough 1 of The Chant last week. Really enjoyed it. Solid B game. Knocked out Home Sweet Home. Creepy, effective horror game. Update 4 (7/14/23): Finished up last two playthroughs of The Chant. Plowed through Sinking City. Dreading the Dead Rising run, hence why I'm saving for later. Trying to knock out rest of games first so I can give myself all of August to work through this. Will knock out Road 96, Martha is Dead, and Lake (Platinum 200) in the coming two weeks. Update 5 (7/28/23): Platted Road 96 & Lake. Love both games with their style, soundtrack, setting, and respective stories. Will be using 1 of 3 swaps on Dead Rising; overestimated time commitment to this one during this time period and will save for Fall Backlog Challenge where I'll make more of a theme for the event. Swapping to Bugsnax. I've let that sit since release. A list of updates along with 1/3 swaps used. Popular Post Hurricane_Tanya
Last July update: - Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! - 2% >> 100% - The Dark Pictures: Little Hope - 49% - Tchia - 15% - The Warriors - 9% >> 14% - Chicory: A Colourful Tale - 91% >> 100% Finished Doki Doki Literature Club and Chicory, do not play these one after the other if you are having a bad mental health time. I have depression and it was rough getting through some of the side stories in DDLC. To be fair to the game there is a warning when you start it up, but I’d played the main game years ago on pc. I wasn’t expecting the side stories to be so raw though. Chicory also had quite an emotional story. It’s such a lovely, calm game, and it was really nice to sit and colour in an area, or do the art classes. None of my drawings were any good, but decent considering that drawing with a thumb stick is pretty hard. I’ve gotten a bit further in The Warriors too. Most of the trophies are for finishing the game and getting 100% completion on the levels, so it’ll be a while before I make any more progress trophy wise. I just finished chapter 10 though, and I’m struggling to get the high scores, largely because I’ve noticed you get a lot of bonus points for tagging perfectly…and like I said above, drawing with the thumb sticks is pretty hard. It’s a fun game though, I’m especially enjoying the flashback levels.

Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Only some small progress for me this week. I've completed my first play through for Oxenfree. I really enjoyed the story and it's a bit creepy at times. Also the conversations between characters was enjoyable to listen too. I will have to do 2 more runs for the platinum. I will do at least one this week. I've also started Spider-Man Remastered. It's the second time I play this and I'm having so much fun. This game is just fun and I like that I don't have to worry about missing anything. I will keep playing the story, while trying to get collectibles on the way. It will still take me a while for the platinum. 1. Cat Quest II - 100% 2. Lake - 100% 3. The Gardens Between - 100% 4. Dead Cells - 64% 5. Final Fantasy - 0% 6. Oxenfree - 3% --> 60% 7. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered - 0% --> 15% 8. Hogwarts Legacy - 95% 9. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection - 8% 10. Dreams is an absolute grind in itself but I was also playing AC Odyssey DLC and I could not stop playing it, it was just so good and I was having an absolute blast with it. I decided to use my last swap for a game on the shorter side. I'm not going to be able to complete all the games on my list for this event but I'm gonna give it one final push for progress during the last month. If I could get ten games completed, I would be extremely happy. Have a great week and happy hunting folks ?

I also started Agony, finished the first martyr level and I`m not entirely sure what I have played so far. This is really a very strange game and a lot less censored and different gameplaywise as Succubus was, but I can say one thing and that is, that they nailed the atmosphere of being in hell perfectly (not that I`ve been there myself). Lastly I use my first swap to change Afterimage with Neodori Forever, which is a very addictive arcade racing game with a awesome soundtrack, that I got dirt cheap in the current sale.

About 2/3 of the way through now, and everyone is making some good progress! Finished up Lego Batman 3, the DLC was a bit lame but straightforward. I also blasted through Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight. That soundtrack is a banger, it made me want to go back and finish up the game (I still have NG+ to do). I do think Persona 4 Dancing All Night was the best one, as it had a great story to it, but I like the characters from P5 the best. I’m split between best music between P3 and P5! Also completed TOEM. This game really surprised me. I thought I would like it, but I didn’t realize how much. It was so relaxing walking around the different towns and helping people out. I did most of it without looking at a guide, just for the last few animals and the developers trophy. Definitely check this out if you can. I bought it, since I didn’t have PS+ when it was offered, and it was worth the money. Finished the story of Uncharted 4. The ending made me cry, it was a great story, and the very end (beach scene) was the perfect ending for Nathan Drake. Overall though, I was expecting more enemy encounters throughout the game. I guess it makes sense though, since Nate’s an oldie in this game, he can’t fight as much! ? Will be working on collectibles trophies this week. I’m going to swap out Far Cry 5 for Marsupilami. I’m just not feeling FC5 at all, and FC3 left a bad taste in my mouth after the Spoiler (on screen and off screen) sexual assault scenes, so I’m not looking forward to this. Was going to try and do the MP before something happens, but eh. Maybe it’ll be remastered like FC3 one day. ? Still need to decide if I’m swapping out The Witcher or Valhalla, no way I’ll get them both done for this challenge. I've got one more completion to add to the list. Ape Escape 2 is down! And I had a really good time with it, despite how terribly it plays on a PS5..... Like really terribly. If you still want to play this game, and have a PS4 around, dust that sucker off and get some use out of it with this game, because despite being a bit flawed controls wise, it's still a hell of a fun time even twenty years after it came out. If you want to read some of my silly waffle about the game I'll post it here in a spoiler bubble, as always it's completely optional .... It's just some vague notes for a future review I wrote in a status update earlier.... It's erm, got a Simpsons reference in it ? Ape Escape 2 Spoiler With Ape Escape 2, I make my return to the land of the helmeted monkeys once more. As far as collecting my thoughts for this game go, my first one is this... Don't play this game on a PS5, seriously, it somehow runs slower, looks worse and if you look at it too long, with the amount it flickers I'm pretty sure you'd turn into this.... Okay, Okay.... I'm not really selling it, am I. If you play it on a PS4 it is actually fun (fun on a PS5 too, it'll just hurt your eyes) and it runs really nicely - for whatever reason, it just doesn't seem to like being played on a PS5. Note to self, in future don't play PS2 games on a PS5. It is a fun game though, and if you've played an Ape Escape title before you'll sort of know what to expect. You use unusual and quirky gadgets with an obtuse control scheme to capture escaped helmet monkeys. I'm someone who doesn't find it that compelling to play through a game multiple times if I can avoid it (I'd rather just experience something new if I can). But that being said, this 100% requires you to play the game and basically capture all 300 monkeys twice. I never once found this a chore, apart from one particularly bland level that is just dull and grey for its entirety. But aside from that, the gameplay loop is incredibly fun and satisfying. The level designs are interesting, as are some of the more uniquely styled monkeys, with pun inspired names thrown into the mix too.The simplicity of some of these I really enjoyed - and are quite often nerdy little references, and several made me literally laugh out loud. Like, for example, a Star Wars themed Ape called George Ookas .... That one really tickled me for some reason. Unfortunately it looks like everyone lucked out this time in a bad way, as I believe universally this PS4 version of Ape Escape 2 is the Pal voice acting dub..... and that means the most woefully cringe voice acting you're ever likely to hear. Seriously, at times I felt like I probably could have grown an extra pair of feet just for the amount my toes were wanting to curl, that an extra pair might really have helped All part of the charm I guess, and this game definitely has that. I had lots of fun though and would absolutely play an Ape Escape 3 with trophies if it ever releases, as it's now one of the few games in the series I've never played in any console. I've also swapped out Dead Island Riptide, @Redblaziken8 and I were going to knock this out together, but we figured we're not likely to actually manage to finish it this month, as we'll likely be playing more couch co-op together than online co-op, which is never a bad thing to be fair. I've swapped in Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, as I bought this game ages ago and have been meaning to play it. When I saw @oxford_wolf007 added the game for this challenge, I thought let's see if we can get those pesky online trophies knocked out together, so that's the plan with that one at some point. My completion % might take a little bit of a hit soon, as I'm kind of planning on starting Pyre soon as well, and Greedfall, because I'd like to try and get those finished before the end of the month, but I guess I'll see how much of an impossibility that is as August Marches on As always it's been a pleasure reading all of your updates the last few weeks! I'll catch you all in the next one!

Got the plat for Remedium in about 8 hours. It was fine overall but nothing special. Pumpkin Jack has been fun, but I started using a guide for the crow skulls after missing a couple of them on the second level. There's a chapter select, but if you miss a skull that's close to the end of the level you have to replay the whole thing to get to it. And the levels are too long to keep doing that. I also finally got the level 50 hardcore trophy in Diablo so now I just have the level 100 and Uber Lilith ones left. Plans for this week are to finish the last 3 levels of Pumpkin Jack then work on Humanity. Plus more D4. Always more D4. I'm working on my initial list for the Fall / Winter challenge as well. Sly Cooper. And if I'm quick about it I can get it done before the animals event on PSNP is over. Borderlands > 42% Went and killed the Rakk Hive boss and me and Rob have been carrying on with doing all the side quests and main quests, really looking forward to getting back to this with him when I see him next. Rise of the Tomb Raider > 100% Finally, I have the staggering 125 trophies done in this one. It was nice to end this with @rjkclarke, even if the glitches which stopped us getting the trophies happened to us multiple times, and it may have driven us a bit crazy sometimes, and made us anxious that it was going to glitch out again, but it's done, and I did enjoy Endurance mode overall. I'm looking forward to playing Shadow actually now, and I'm kinda tempted to put it on the next backlog challenge. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered > 54% I just booted this up yesterday and got a few trophies for completing some missions on veteran, I do much prefer playing it on the veteran difficulty as opposed to regular, even if it can get a bit frustrating at times. But it's just satisfying to get past something that's pretty challenging, I'm probably going to be spending my free time this week playing this, and more Yakuza 0 depending what I fancy. Yakuza 0 > 30% So I've carried on to chapter 6 in the game, I've been doing some of the minigames like the Sega Arcade stuff including the UFO catcher is now done, I've started Pocket Circuit racing, and done around 45/60 of Kiryu's substories. Made a lot of progress in the Real Estate Royale, which I really enjoy and it's a nice chill afk money making method whilst doing substories and messing about with minigames. I'm loving this as always, I'll probably move on to the next chapter when I finish the Real Estate questline, and do some more minigames in the meantime. Outside of the challenge I've been working on Black Ops zombies with some friends, and we got super close to doing the Easter egg in the Call of the Dead map, which I'm hoping we can get done next week. Also been playing some more MW3 with my friend, and we're nearly done with all of it. I've been really enjoying playing COD again actually, even zombies which I'm really surprised at as it's never been my thing. But going for Easter eggs is pretty fun! I prefer having some sort of goal to work towards instead of just survive as long as possible, so I'm wondering if that's why I've actually started to enjoy zombies. I need to decide what to bring forward to the Fall and Winter challenge, since there's no way I'm going to finish all of these games, but I'm looking forward to getting to some of them this month, and in the next challenge anyways. Popular Post YaManSmevz
Summer Madness #8 8/1/23 A fine mahok to you all. PSN Challengers, assemble!! .....I'm gonna work on that one, not a big fan. Pressed for time, you see? But thankfully there's little to report anyway! Normally I'd be a bit bummed out, having a mere three trophies to show for the game that took up the majority of my July, NBA 2K23. But those three trophies were part of one of the biggest, most time-comsuming, and at times frustrating grinds I've ever taken up. So while on paper I've not much to show, I'm actually very happy with my progress, as I'm down to one last, and far chiller in comparison grind, and a handful of other miscellanea. And then it's done? The goal for this week is more Silent Hill-centered, I've got a lot to do there and am eager to get back to work (I took a much needed break from playing after all that nonsense). I'll also need to come up with another swap just in case, cuz two Silent Hills and two Metal Gears in a month is a pretty big ask. Yeah, a boring one from me this week, especially compared to the killer posts I'm seeing from y'all? As always, thanks for reading, thanks for posting, and let's smash us some August! 1. Popular Post Vulpine9Tails
I may have overestimated my ability to get my remaining two games on my list done by the end of the month; I am in charge of cat (and snake) sitting at my sister's and her new husband's house while they're on their honeymoon in Indonesia and won't be home to play much. So my updates will be few and far between.

Does my heart good that everyone is still powering on with their lists. You are credit to Nation! Didn't update last week as there was a lot of progress on the second run of FFXVI but zero trophies gained. I've also decided not to add another game to the list at this time as I came to a realisation the other night; Being an Adult sucks, Being and Adult with Anxiety and Depression coupled with ADHD sucks hard enough to get a golf ball through a length of hose. But I digress, not fishing for sympathy just an observation. ON THE SLAB! Weird West 11% The only problem I have with this game so far is cause I waited for it to come from Special Reserve Games (Physical Media 4 Lyfe!) my hype for it kinda died. I'm still going though because it reminds me of Shadows of Brimstone and I love that board game series to death. OFF THE HOOK! Monster Boy & the Cursed Kingdom Stick It To The Man Grim Fandango Final Fantasy XVI It's bittersweet that I put this to bed. I enjoyed every minute of my first run through this game but sadly, it really lost me though, and became a slog during the Final Fantasy Mode run. Maybe I missed something but having EVERY mob be a massive damage sponge with no real reward just felt really hollow. I'm also fairly certain there was no reason to do FF Mode other than the Gold Trophy cause there were no extra scenes or rewards that I noticed. It's a shame cause I love this game. Till next time my Guys, Gals and Non-Binary Pals; Happy Hunting! Week 9: Wild Wild West - Will Smith Good morning my trophy hunting Brothers & Sisters! Another week, another box of stolen pens. Not much else to say about the week, It's quieted down at work and I'm trying to figure out if they would notice if I changed one of my monitors to run a PS4. ON THE SLAB! Weird West 11% ➡️ 31% Halfway through the PigMan chapter and I have to say, I very nearly swapped this one out at the start of the chapter. It was purely a PEBCAC moment as I hate using Shotguns and he doesn't think to reload after firing both shots. But I persevered and have gotten slightly better with the shotties and am once again enjoying it. OFF THE HOOK! Monster Boy & the Cursed Kingdom Stick It To The Man Grim Fandango Final Fantasy XVI Till next time my Guys, Gals and Non-Binary Pals; Happy Hunting!
Popular Post freddie1989
Update time and an actual weekly one for a change! First completion of this challenge shamefully (Aloy is 2 levels from plat on Horizon which will be NG+) Finished Guardians off last night, a great game all round as I said previously. Not much to add other than play it if you haven't! Going to play Ground Zeroes next as I keep putting it off, might find time to pop the plat on Ghosts before the end of the month if time is available. Popular Post Zach
Final Fantasy XVI - 21% ---> 100% Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (PS5) - 0% ---> 100% Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered - 0% Until Dawn - 0% Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - 0% Ratchet & Clank Into the Nexus - 0% Managed to get the platty for Jedi Fallen Order today. Going to do Life is Strange Before the Storm and Until Dawn before starting Jedi Survivor, just so I can have a bit of break of that gameplay between Fallen Order and Survivor. Might even do Ratchet and Clank Into the Nexus too first if I need more time in between. I'm pretty excited for Jedi Survivor, though! It's why I replayed Jedi Fallen Order for a story recap (well and for the trophies ?)

Being pulled between this and another event on a different site that I'm also not making any progress in, so I just don't know. Going to have to remove Stray. I wasn't aware that is was a games catalog title, not a PSN+ freebie, so I no longer have access to it. I need to start following the removals thread. Updated list including replacement: 1. Furwind - 27% 2. Tower Princess - 4% 3. Adventures of Mana - 5% 4. Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap - 15% 5. Popular Post NullRay85
Update 5: Finally platinumed all five games! 1- Ara Fell: Enhanced Edition - #73 2- Klonoa: Fantasy Reverie Series - #71 3- Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travellers - #74 4- TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection - 0% ------> #75 5- Spider-Man: Miles Morales - #72 Mini-Review: The TMNT: Cowabunga Collection is a compilation of classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle games published by Konami in the early 1990's. It contains over 13 games ranging from the GameBoy to the Arcades and they're most 2D beat 'em ups that has you playing as the four turtles. Three games are 2D fighters and they've aged as you'd guess--- not so good. My favorite games in the collection were the TMNT Arcade game, Arcade and console releases of Turtles in Time (amazing level variety and the sprites hold up), The Manhattan Project (had fond memories playing a bootleg copy on my GBA), and the SNES Tournament Fighters game. I appreciate Shredder's Revenge even more after playing the collection as that game was full on the references and callbacks, which were cool. As for the trophies, it was alright. All of them require you to beat the games though with the enhancements like infinite lives, rewind, invincibility modes, it's a breeze. Though I opted to actually play the games that I like. That said, you need to play the Tournament Fighters games and they're a pain since the CPU can easily read your moves. All in all, it's a fantastic collection for those who grew up during the turtle craze of the 90's and it has some mostly timeless games. I hope Konami follows Capcom's FOOTsteps and release a Vol. 2 collection featuring the games based on the 2003 TV show--- the turtles I grew up with! Happy to have made it my 75th and I'm glad I joined the event as otherwise, I wouldn't have had the drive to beat my games. Wishing everyone else the best in clearing their lists!
