(2020) 100% This was a throwback and I recently did the original back from 2005 which was ported to the ps4 and that was a grind as well as having the missable trophies, however the 2020 remake did it justice by adding much more content changing it up while keeping to the original source material and apart from one of the challenges being annoying as you have small margin for error it was a great game. 2. Assassin's Creed Valhalla 14% I have started this long grind of a game and I have been a massive fan of the RPG versions of this franchise (I will always adore the originals) Being doing all of the possible collectibles before moving on with the story as well as some misc stuff for the base game. I've played this game before so I know the story, while not being as strong as origins or the earlier games it still has a okayish story. 3. Destroy all Humans! 2 Reprobed (2022) 0% 4 Stray 0% 5. Ghostrunner 0% I Hope everyone is enjoying their lists and I eagerly wait to read your weekly updates when you post them!
Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Here's my first update and completion for this challenge. I finished Cat Quest II. Such a cute game that I had already started in the spring challenge. I enjoyed this game, it's easy and quite relaxing. I also made a start with Uncharted: the Legacy of Thieves Collection. I have the platinum for both games on PS4 but wanted to play them again since it's been a long time and I love these games. Thursday I'll go on vacation to Spain. I won't be bringing any consoles or my Vita so I will continue after that. 1. Cat Quest II - 31% --> 100% 2. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection - 0% --> 5% 3. I panicked over something silly and decided to push on. Turns out that the only thing that changes if you release the wolf thief is that you lose a few treasures, but the chests are still there, closed, and opening them still counts towards the trophy even if you get rickrolled by Lone Wolf. I don't think Square-Enix would be that big of a dingus to force you to restart the story and make you miss out on treasure chests because you did something stupid like release a thief. Anyways, got a bit further in the story. Accidentally triggered a cutscene that cost me my boat, so I reloaded my quick save. Gonna have to start delving into the two big projects for my freaky Final Fantasy Summer eventually, though. FFVI is gonna take a while considering how I avoided it for a long time due to one really scary clown. Edited June 6, 2023 by Taruta13

Started a new playthrough of Fallout 4, cause I decided to play a "dumb melee" build character! Also started Prototype 2 and made a decent start before running into a mission saying it needed to be downloaded first...not sure what that meant considering the game is downloaded. Maybe I need to progress in some other things first? I also made a little bit of progress on Power Wash Sim, finished two levels in Career Mode as well as some miscellaneous trophies. The most progress I've done, as of writing this has been Life is Strange: True Colors. I'm currently finishing Chapter 3 and will probably have it finished later today(6/6/23). Gives some incentive and motivation to clear backlog. Below is my list I'm looking to knock out: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3; 100%) Dead Rising (PS4; 7%) -> SWAP -> Bugsnax (PS5, 0%) The Chant (PS5; 100%) Sinking City (PS4; 100%) Home Sweet Home (PS4; 100%) ✅ If I read the post correctly about double-platinums, then I'll add the following: What Remains of Edith Finch (PS5; 100%) Artful Escape (PS4; 100%) Martha Is Dead (PS4; 0%) Road 96 (PS4; 100%) Chicken Police: Paint it Red! (PS5; 100%) The Longest Road on Earth (PS4; 0%) Kona (PS5; 0%) Gris (PS5; 100%) Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS4; 0%) Lake (PS4; 100%) Update 1 (6/6/23): Games with “X” have been complete. Love The Artful Escape with the writing, voice acting, and music. Art style is great. Definitely an underrated gem. I forgot just how incredible What Remains of Edith Finch is. Absolutely brilliant on every level. Need to find and play more walking sims like it.Update 2 (6/7/23): As a film noir fan, Chicken Police is perfect and I need more for that franchise. Gris is the most beautiful game I've ever played; the art is perfect.Update 3 (6/19/23): Took a good break, but finished playthrough 1 of The Chant last week. Really enjoyed it. Solid B game. Knocked out Home Sweet Home. Creepy, effective horror game. Update 4 (7/14/23): Finished up last two playthroughs of The Chant. Plowed through Sinking City. Dreading the Dead Rising run, hence why I'm saving for later. Trying to knock out rest of games first so I can give myself all of August to work through this. Will knock out Road 96, Martha is Dead, and Lake (Platinum 200) in the coming two weeks. Update 5 (7/28/23): Platted Road 96 & Lake. Love both games with their style, soundtrack, setting, and respective stories. Will be using 1 of 3 swaps on Dead Rising; overestimated time commitment to this one during this time period and will save for Fall Backlog Challenge where I'll make more of a theme for the event. Swapping to Bugsnax. I've let that sit since release. Edited July 30, 2023 by DestinyIsFate13
Popular Post YaManSmevz
Summer Madness #1 6/7/23 Ayyyy what's good, everybody? Started a lil late so not toooo much to report on my end, though for me the challenge is off to a great start as I've finally conquered Final Fantasy IX's dreaded Hail to the King trophy. I've put this game off for almost two years out of fear of that stupid thing, and now I can finally just enjoy the game ...til I have to crank out those 10k kills, but that's a problem for Future Smevz! I'm often guilty of sippin on the Nostalgia Kool-aid, so it could just be that talkin, but I forgot what a joy it is to get lost in a good RPG. Even if I already know everything that's gonna happen! One weird thing though is that I was around Garnet's age when I first played this game, now Steiner's old rusty ass is younger than I am. That's some shit? Plan is to keep up on FFIX, get started on Silent Hill 2, and I'm adding Trek to Yomi cuz I've been curious about that one since last year and here it is, falling right into our laps. Who am I to resist? Lastly, I'm thinking about making a dash for the NBA 2K23 plat. I love basketball and I'd really like to nab that, though I know it can be a miserable grind. I'll have to make a decision within the next few days, does anybody have any experience with those games? That's all the blabbin I've got this week. Keep killin it y'all, as usual thanks for reading and thanks for posting?? 1. Final Fantasy IX (8-->20%) 2. Silent Hill 2 (0%) 3. Silent Hill 3 (0%) 4. Metal Gear Solid 2 (0%) 5. Wow, you're amazing. If I decided to plat FFIX, I'd probably just get everything else and make a new game to do that one trophy. Also, I hope you are prepared for the 12-hour speedrun to get Excalibur II! Right now I just got back from an emergency grocery raid to get some more snacks and I am not really feeling like gaming right now, just like napping. Guess that's the consequence of hitting middle age. ? Also have to spend time with both Kingdom Hearts III (as a challenge to get to the platinum before July) and Final Fantasy XIV (for the RPG Mania event, just got my battle jobs to Level 30 and completed the first trinity of dungeons and am now a member of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and have to go to Thanalan to find out what's going on there - spoiler: I'm fighting my first Primal soon and then I can unlock mounts and stop hiking the entire width of Eorzea. ) I promise that this afternoon I will do some work, even if it's nothing more than pulling up Zer0star's FFXII platinum notes and translating them to a non-speedrun setting. Popular Post StilRh
Hey my loves. Some decent progress for the first week of the challenge. I don't know what is going on with my body but I'm enjoying a reprive from shoulder pain so I've been up to playing lots (a few all nighters incuded :)). I enjoyed some annual leave playing my listed games. I completed my first run of Miasma Chronicles. I found this to be a really fun tactics RPG. The world building was first class and I enjoyed the characters and story imensely (though a lot of moans and groans from the interwebs that MC is a bit generic? I liked Elvis a lot). I need a hard mode playthrough but as some of the trophies seems to be bugged (a broze combat one did not want to pop for me and the trophies for 100% collectables and bestiary seemed broken for everyone) I will wait for a patch before I go into this again. Really nice to value for a £45 game. I started a fresh save in No Man's Sky. I think I am starting to get the gameplay loop of this now. The last 2 times I started to play this I got quite bored due to how quickly your starting ship components degraded and it felt like quite a chore to jump from one system to another. I lucked out on a crashed ship which I sold and then used the credits to buy some inventory slots. I've just got to the point where I'm recruiting staff for my base (which is a shed at the moment as I am holding out for putting everything on a freighter or something). I've had some cool zen moments with this game Enter the Gungeon is starting to sink it's hooks in me. When I first played this some years ago I thought it was so-so and dropped it but I think I understand some of the mechanics better now and I'm ignoring the pro-gamer advice I tried to use when I first started playing it (don't open chests until you kill the boss, go for secret level every time etc - man it was frustrating killing bosses with starting weapons and the oubliette is tricky!). I am still quite a noob and haven't beat the 5th chamber yet but I am consistently reaching floors 3-4. I occassionally get master rounds on level 2 and or 3 bosses. I tend to run out of resources and then die but I am working on becoming more skilled at resource management. Already I am putting this up there with the great roguelikes. The level of progress I feel I've made as a player is really rewarding, makes up for the lack of trophies and clears lol. Last but not least, Company of Heroes 3 has been on my slab. I've enjoyed the smaller North African campaign and still in the first 5 hours of the main Italian campaign. Italy gets ragged on a lot by critics and I can agree with some of the points that are made, equally, I think there are the bones of a good strategy layer in there somewhere. I've enjoyed and decisively won a few skirmish games. I find the lack (or maybe I just haven't found them yet?) of control groups or queuing up orders in multiplayer can make larger fights on multiple fronts very difficult to control. The ability to select units off screen and order them from the icons on the bottom of the screen are useful in some cases but don't always feel intuitive. Still, I think it is shaping up to be one of the best RTS on console. Next week my gaming time may not be so plentiful. There are some big changes happening at work and on Monday I am going to find out if/how I am going to be affected. Fingers crossed I can keep doing what I love doing. Gaming wise, I think I'm going to start fresh in Valkyria Chronicles 4 and try to polish off Humanity or Defence Grid 2, just to put some wins on the board. I am of course going to be gungeoneering too. Have a good week! It would definitely be a good contender for the Gaming for Mental Health event. I have collectibles left to get, but I’ll take my time with that. I also got 2 endings for Catherine: Full Body, I played normal mode first with mostly bronze and silver prizes, 1 gold! Not sure how well I’ll do on hard mode, but I’m sure I’ll get better. I also played through on easy and got golds for all levels so at least that’s one set out of 6 done. I also tried the first stage of Babel and got 98 blocks so far, I think I need 110 to clear the stage. This game is hard. Anyway I’ll do the easy remix mode and go for some more endings, and possibly look up some walkthroughs depending on how badly I do at hard mode

Fallout Shelter - 29%, I love this game. It's fun to be able to have something to casually play in the background. Trophies are easy enough that I shouldn't need a guide either 3. Rez Infinite (PS4) - 33%, I initially loved this game. But it's starting to feel repetitive. Gonna have to balance practice/skill retention and burning myself out. I don't want to end up hating the game. 4. Farming Simulator 19 - 12%, Very. Complicated. Who knew running a farm was so much work? Hopefully, I'll get in a grove with this one and grind it out! 5. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners (PS4) 5%, This one has been difficult to get used to all the controls on. I might start playing standing - hitting the chair I'm sitting in as I frantically grab for my weapon really sucks First update! 1. The Evil Within, 4% -> 56%, This game grew on me as I played it more, but I still was hoping for a better story - I was so confused the whole time that the twist at the end wasn't very effective. I watched a video explaining everything and that helped a little. 3 playthroughs down (initial, collectibles, speed-run), and just AKUMU to go. (and the DLC of course) 2. Fallout Shelter, 29% -> 45%, still enjoying this one. Starting to wonder how long it will take to get 50 raider attacks though. I'm only at 22 so far. I haven't played any of the other 3 games since joining, Evil Within has been taking most of my gaming time! Hogwarts Legacy - I finished two of the three partial playthroughs needed for the platinum. I'll try to complete the third this week, but replaying the beginning of the game is not that exciting. On my main playthrough, I've been working on side quests and collectibles. I'm not that invested in the main story, but exploring Hogwarts and the countryside is everything I could ever want.

AS you can tell I jump around quite a bit and will continue to do so the whole time?! Will do another full check-in next week and will do a quick update when I complete something! 1.
