A chance to play as either good or evil with lots of fun powers. B3: Ultra Rare Platinum: Batman: Arkham City (PS3)- I think the best Arkham game and a very enjoyable mix of a beat 'em up game with stealth challenge rooms and some puzzles thrown in. I2: Favorite Genre: Adventure: Far Cry 3 Classic- Some people say the Far Cry games are formulaic, and they probably are, but if so, I like the formula. Had lots of fun with this one. I3: With an Isometric View: Desperados III- A change of pace because of its real-time strategy format (though the devs prefer the term "stealth strategy" for their games). Made by the same people who made Shadow Tactics. If you like stealth games, well worth a play. N1: One World Title: Abzu- A beautiful underwater exploration game that I started seeing as an underwater biology lesson in types of fish and animals until I got to the chapter that also included dinosaurs lol. Still a very beautiful game. N2: With Mystery or Detective Themes: Murdered: Soul Suspect- A fun, mostly point-and-click type detective game with a bit of demon-dodging thrown in where you are a detective investigating your own murder. N4: Contains Holiday Themes: Batman: Arkham Knight- I really hated the Batmobile at first though I got used to it over time. The holiday tie-in is that it's set on Halloween and there are decorations and occasional NPC comments about it. I suppose the main villain Scarecrow is kind of Halloween-y too. A picture below of the spooky vibe. G1: Racing or Sports: Wreckfest- I took great joy in smashing up cars in the demolition derbies and driving around unusual vehicles including semis and lawnmowers. G5: By an Independent Developer: Bendy and the Ink Machine- A quirky, old-timey cartoon style horror game that actually got my heart pounding a few times when running from the ink demon. If you go for platinums, read the forum posts first because it has a glitchy couple of trophies. This one I found out was released in January after the fact. It was a fun time, if not exactly substantial. The game, not sure the same can be said about my birth. But every review I read about it said it was a terrible remaster. Then I checked the new PSN sale and saw it’s currently only €3. I couldn’t resist getting it at that price. Now the game itself wasn’t that bad. They remastered the remaster. The story was interesting. I like the graphics style. But that’s also basically it. The enemy AI might be one of the worst I’ve ever seen. The gunplay was mediocre. But it’s an old game so that was expected. I think they left out cutscenes? After completing a level and expecting a cutscene I got plunged into a new level and it seemed very weird sometimes. Anyway. €3. I had 8 hours of decent fun. Good buy. We think we know everything about the subject, but this game surprised me with some details I had never noticed before. Especially how difficult it was to "just escape" the country. It all started small like a snowball and ended up crushing everyone; - RoboCop: Rogue City for N-5 Aliens or Robots: I love the atmosphere of the first two RoboCop movies. I even rewatched them while playing Rogue City, which could easily be considered the third true "movie" in the franchise. The developers did a masterful job of building the classic settings, robots, and characters. I don't think I've ever seen a game that's so faithful to its source material. The carnage is glorious and RoboCop still has a sharp tongue. The dialogue options are sensational and really make you feel like in his shoes heavy clodhoppers; - Indika for O-1 Arcade, Rhythm or Puzzle: I never thought I would play a nunsploitation game. Doubts about Catholic doctrine, diabolical thoughts, carnal temptation and many discussions about free will, good and evil and the similarities between God and the Devil. Everything that characterizes this film subgenre is here interspersed with environmental puzzles and small arcade games. The irreverent dialogues between Indika and the Devil are the best part and I like how the plot delves into some heavy themes. Some really horrible things happen. Unfortunately, the game is very short and ends abruptly. N5 - Adventure - Toem G2 - With Gorgeous Vistas - Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition Currently working towards I have 2 games that I am working towards next. 1. N2 - Has No Platinum Trophy - Hitman 2: currently still working my way through all the Hitman 2 levels. Progress is progressing Because I am 100% both trophy lists it takes a bit more time than normal. 2. I know in the rules that a game can't be used for multiple squares, but does that also include the DLC square? I'm currently playing through RE4 which I'm planning to use for my 'Crafting Mechanics' square, but I also plan on doing the Separate Ways DLC. Could I include that as my DLC square, or would it violate the rule? A post-noir game based in Vancouver with your character played as a raccoon detective by the name of Howard Lotor. Anything that is a dystopian journey catches my eye, and this game did not disappoint. Just FYI this game was originally named Backbone, but I think Tails Noir does it justice. For PSN Event B5. Sidescroller/Bullet Hell I1. One Word Title – Nexomon (Fun little pokemon clone. Balance could probably use some work, and there’s a few too many mons to grind for, 310 in total, but overall a fine platinum, and probably the most effort I’ve ever seen required for a Ratalaika platinum.) I2. Nonhuman Sidekick – Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier (The much maligned final entry in the Jak and Daxter series. I didn’t hate it back in the day, but this was much worse than I remembered. Maybe it’s because I played the PS2 version and this rerelease is based off the PSP version? Either way, the soundtrack is the best thing about this trainwreck. It’s got legitimately great music.)
