Popular Post Hurricane_Tanya
Final update: - The Messenger - 18% >> 19% - Arcade Paradise - 100% - Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood - 100% - Afterparty - 100% - Last Stop - 100% - This is the Police - 4% swaps 2/3 Unfortunately I didn’t get much spare time to play before The Messenger was removed from the extra catalogue. I’ll probably get it in a sale to get a chance to finish it at some point. I did take advantage of a sale to pick up This is the Police, but I massively underestimated how long it will take to complete. There’s a lot of rng involved for the trophies and I had to reload a day about 5 times in order to get a day where none of my officers called in sick, only for one of the criminals to escape leading to another reload…so I will play through the story later, and save the perfect playthrough for much later in the year. Anyway, that was a fail, but I’m looking forward to the Summer event, and I did start a few games I probably wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for this event so that’s a positive

Popular Post freddie1989
Final update! 2 in a week is rare for me but as it is the end I will let it slide 🤣 Finished up Darksiders 3, the Crucible is a bit of a grind given it has to be 101 waves non stop. I coasted through it albeit very nearly got killed once due to being too relaxed with how it was going. Enjoyed this one overall, it has its moments but a decent entry in the series nonetheless. Popular Post Heather342
Final update Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well 😊. Decided to make my final update now, as I won't be able to finish Sea of Stars in time but I'm right on the cusp of it going over the 50% limit. I've moved it into the Summer backlog event starting on Saturday. Overall though I'm very much enjoying the game. I'm at the point of the first ending boss fight, but I'm also trying to knock out the Artful Gambit trophy during this run as well, for fighting 10 bosses with the relic equipped. Gonna hold off fighting the boss until the weekend, as it's a gold trophy that might push me over the threshold for the summer event 😅 Overall I think 5 out of 6 games completed is not a bad result for me 😊. I managed to clear off some of the shorter games that have been in my backlog for a while, as well as dusting off my Vita. As always it's been a pleasure reading everyone's updates and motivating to see those backlogs being cleared. Thanks again to @MidnightDragonfor hosting. Hope to see you all in the next event! Popular Post viech54
Update #12 Hogwarts Legacy I'm about halfway done with the story, but still need quite a bit of side content and three more partial playthroughs for three missable trophies. Only one of the trophies can be earned per playthrough, but it is earned fairly early in the game, so not too bad and I can make a save before choosing my Hogwarts house. The trophies are for discovering the Map Chamber as a student of each house. That said, it's unlikely I'll be able to complete the game during this challenge. There's still a slight chance, I have today and tomorrow off of work and can spend most of my time on this game. But don't think it'll be enough time. We'll see, though, I'll do what I can and wrap up the rest in the next few days if I'm too slow for this challenge. So what happened? I got distracted by other games, mainly Final Fantasy XIV. That, and I'm not the biggest fan of Hogwarts Legacy. I don't like the gameplay and despite numerous patches, the game still has too many glitches that can make completing quests impossible or negatively affect trophies in general. _____________ Anyway, take care, good luck with your lists! Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hey everyone, This is my last update for this challenge. I've completed Call of the Sea today and this will be my last completion. I enjoyed this. It wasn't great but I'd say an enjoyable one to platinum. Not too long either. I will bring Chicken Police and The Great Ace Attorney to the next challenge. Overall I'm happy with the amount of games I completed for this one. I am going to try to kill it this autumn for Halloween because I need to power myself up and, as you are, I am playing FFXIV. We're both probably crunching the numbers to try to get caught up before Dawntrail drops, so it is understandable that Eorzea is #1 priority(though I have been slacking with that game too as I am a bit burned out, waiting for my June check to burn on level skips just to get omni-80 so I can get ready for Pictomancer on Endwalker MSQ ), so other games will have to compete. Luckily I have my plans out for how to tackle the Summer Event so those games I listed WILL get platinum by the end or I will go in off-the-grid living and never play a game again. (Just kidding, but seriously, I need to get those done ASAP. 😛) Also, not going to be a fan of collecting beasts. Well, I wish anyone luck who is just about to crunch the numbers. I know I tried but failed on the second wave. This time I will be more careful to pick and choose my battles. See you all in the Summer Event thread! Popular Post StilRh
Hey guys. This is my last update for this challenge. For a very busy person I think I've done ok this time around Some games I didn't stick with due getting to parts that I found challenging or complicated (eg missable trophies on Blasphemous) and I am mildly annoyed at that. Options are nothing and play other games (summer backlog challenge) entirely, the remaining Endwalker extremes (5 and 7), Endwalker savage raiding with a focus on P4/8/12, ultimate raiding, deep dungeons, criterion dungeons, Eureka, Island Sanctuary, fishing, or try to finish the base game trophies. Ignoring Eureka, that's all the trophy-related activities I still need. I'll likely do a bit of the summer challenge and to the very least the seasonal events in FFXIV.

Since the last update, I managed to finish off the Lost Archive DLC. I had to adopt a different strategy for crossing the River Styx since I needed a more forgiving platforming experience than the bouncepads offered. Luckily that meant I was able to pop that trophy after only three more tries, so I definitely tried to make it harder on myself by just following the guide video. I also started in on the clean-up of the 100% sync and miscellaneous trophies of the main game, but that was what I failed to finish. The only other progress this week was getting to the point of only having about 20 minutes left in Powerwash Simulator, I was planning to finish it after completing Revelations which never happened. As it stands, I'm planning to bring most of these games forward to the Summer challenge and hopefully do better there.

I only played a bit more of Potion Permit and got 2 new trophies for it, since most of my gaming time was occupied by The Legend of Nayuta: Boundles Trails. Great game but unfortunately 4% to high to put it in the summer backlog challenge. All in all, it was not my best result in one of these backlog challenges, but I managed to complete 6 of my 13 games (2 of which I started back in 2018). Read/see you all in the summer backlog challenge.

I'll be carrying it over to the summer challenge, and after this post I'll be thinking up a list of games to play. Steins;Gate Elite - I played the original VN back in 2019 and fell in love with it, so it was great to revisit it once more with a sort of modernised take on it. Elite essentially animates the interactions instead of just the still screens from the original. Some scenes were left out from what I could remember, but this is still a fantastic way of experiencing this incredible, memorable story. I hope SG;0 gets the same treatment sometime in the future, as I plan on replaying that at some point too! As always, thank you @MidnightDragon for hosting, and I'll see you all in the summer challenge 🙂

Anyway... enough of my excuses What did I actually play between this update and the last? Well, it doesn't seem like a lot, but I got so ridiculously into playing Mass Effect 2 again, to carry my save over into 3, that I ended up going for a pretty much 100% playthrough, and I had an absolutely great time doing it. As you can guess... after that, the only challenge progress I made after that, was in Mass Effect 3, which I've been enjoying a whole lot of to be honest. I can't carry it through to the next challenge, but it'll be nice to play through what I have left of it, and experience all of the DLC that I never experienced the first time around. I think everything that I didn't finish in this challenge I'll carry through to the next one. A much shorter one from me than usual, but I'm hoping to get back into the swing of gaming a bit over the next week or so. As ever, it's been fun! 😂

LEGO Lord of the Rings PS3 0% 22. Shadow of the Colossus PS4 0% Resident Evil > 100% So this one has been me and Rob's comfort (weird, I know - it's a horror game fgs) game considering my new place doesn't have WiFi yet, still. But we managed to finish this one off but on the 1st June. Combined up the knife only and invisible enemy playthrough and yeah even after weakening Plant 42 with the V-Jolt with Chris you still have to knife invisible roots which is pretty luck based and not the most fun, same with fighting the Crimson Head Prototype, mine and Rob's fault for playing it that way I guess! The Real Survivor difficulty I didn't find too bad and it was really fun, managed to get this run done in under 5 hrs, then for the last run we did Ink is for Squids and the speedrun in under 3hrs at the same time, that one was a fun challenge and Rob's memory came in clutch for the mansion! Had a lot of fun with this, it's a great platinum, but I'm glad we didn't have another playthrough to do after this one. So now the only incomplete game on my list for Resi games that I already have on there is 2, so I decided to carry that one through to the backlog challenge. Haven't played it for a few years now and I only did a Claire playthrough so it'll be nice to revisit that one. After RE2 is done as well I can add some other Resi games to my list which will be nice. Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker > 68% Another one I haven't played too much because I've been playing it with Rob and the WiFi is down so yay, managed to get all the extra ops done so now I just need to S rank the solo missions. Picked up the trophy for doing all of the Monster Hunter quests which was really fun, then just a couple of misc ones. Planning to revisit this one pretty soon. I'll be moving on to Metal Gear 1 and 2 after this one, not particularly looking forward to the first one though considering even my MGS obsessed other half hated it. BioShock 89% I still didn't make any progress with BioShock, again because I wanted a video guide up to look for the collectible roses whilst I'm going through those challenge rooms but it's a bit tricky with no WiFi, so I'll get back to this one ASAP as well because I'm really wanting to get this one 100%ed and move on to the 100% in BioShock 2 soon. Non-Challenge Trophy Progress Rambling I also went back and finally finished inFamous. About time really when it had been on my backlog for nearly 7 years. I intentionally left it years ago so I could experience the story again but from the Evil side of things on a replay. Had a blast with this one and yes, it's super grey but it is set in a city and it's a PS3 game that isn't the most light hearted story ever so, I give it a pass. I love me some PS3 anyway and had so much fun revisiting this one that I started up inFamous 2 straight after, which is getting finished soon too but I just have to use ionic powers 30 times and play it on Evil, get all the upgrades so that'll just be a nice and chill plat to clean up soon. This one is way more colourful and the voice actor is so different, but he's really good too. Would've added it to the Summer Backlog Challenge but it was near 80% when I started it. Definitely going to be adding inFamous Festival of Blood to my list when I'm done with inFamous 2. Typical Weekly COD Ramble Already started working on my Summer list anyway with some progress on World at War with my friends last night which was super fun, will update about it in a few days in the Summer list. Managed to find a way around the WiFi issue for one night. I still need to finish the Black Ops 2 campaign before I make time to do the WAW campaign on Vet, and find time to get MW3 on PS3 mopped up. The PS3 COD games are slowly getting tackled, just haven't had much motivation to do the BO2 campaign whilst staying with my uncle and loads of personal life shit as per usual. Anyway, things are looking on the up so hopefully some more COD trophies soon. Really enjoyed reading all of your progress and looking forward to the same again in the Summer Backlog Challenge. Hopefully I'll be able to make more progress in the Summer list with having some more free time.
