Popular Post NoOneSpecial-76 Posted June 14 Popular Post Share Posted June 14 Noticed that this hasn't been caught here yet, but there's currently a beta version of a native version of Minecraft PS5, Mojang said the following regarding it: “This PS5 version of the game is currently in experimental mode so the team can continue to make improvements and listen to community feedback over the next few months and the game is already optimised for Xbox Series S|X, where it runs at 4K resolution and 60fps, but that these updates to optimization are a continuation of Minecraft’s efforts to ensure a great experience on consoles while paving the way for future game enhancements”. This will 100% get its own trophy stack as it cannot combine with the PS4 version as that has leftover trophies from the 4J Studios mini games which are no longer available without a retail copy of PS4 edition. Based on the Dead by Daylight list, it'll likely keep to one list this time rather than having a "Set 2" like the PS4 version currently does, even if it does ultimately mean that there are less trophies to earn without the mini game orientated trophies. You're probably right, it would match up with the Xbox, Switch, Android, iOS and Windows version then. There are notably harder achievements there so it should be a fun challenge regardless. I guess this means the game on the PS5 will keep getting trophies, which means the 100% completion will keep on dipping from time to time. I have no problem with this though. I wonder if this means existing game saves will also no loner be transferrable. TheRetroManiac Posted June 21 Share Posted June 21 So we will be getting a quadruple Minecraft platinum with potentially 1000 trophies in the list if they really wanted to have that many trophies. You either like Minecraft or you don't it's like Marmite you either love it or hate it. The solution was don't start set 2 of the trophies list, it's kinda your fault if you earned a trophy in that set.
