Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#126 - Steins Gate Well, this one was a massive letdown. I had very high expectations for this and it failed to deliver. The game took 5 chapters, a good 20 hours, to finally get going (it has 10 in total), which mean half the game was mostly filler like anime that did bugger all for plot development. That's like reading a book where the two hundred pages or so are boring and do nothing for the story, by which point you'd probably have stopped reading it. Same goes for this, when the story finally picked up, I didn't care for it anymore. Most of it was predictable as well, unfortunately, granted there were some surprises, but a lot was pretty obvious. It also suffers from the Heavy Rain syndrome, of feeling the need to let you run through unskippable credits after each ending, although they're not remotely as long. Enjoyment would be 10/10 if the camera was better, irritated me at some points a lot. Besides that this one was easy as fuck, Didn't used a guide or whatsoever most of the time. only at the end for the remaining hidden power cells and orbs. Popular Post Ala-Arska
Escape Dead Island Pure Platinum Acquire all other trophies Although a nice looking Platinum image, it's really bizarre and out of place. Much like the whole game Escape Dead Island is nothing like the previous two DI games. There's a "Dead Island" in the title, but that's about it. Wherein the originals were in first person mode, this one throws the tension and fear out the window and goes all 3rd person on us. That could lead to some interesting combat and stealth (which EDI depends on) sections. Surprise surprise, it doesn't. An elephant in a porcelain store is more graceful than this. Then there's the cel-shaded graphics...I was ready to give that one a chance, but the developers pissed on that opportunity as well GODDAMMIT! Is there anything I like about Escape Dead Island? Well, is there? I'll have to digest everything I've experienced in the game, and cool myself a bit. ....Okay, here goes: the weapons are still handy and well constructed...shit, they're useless and making your own killing tools is no longer an option. Hmm, the voice acting is deep and often quite hilarious...nope, it's godawful and not even unintentionally funny. At least the story itself offers twists and keeps you interested...f**k, I can't do this anymore. After two playthroughs I'm still wondering wtf just happened... Long story short: I just did you guys a favor by suffering through this excrement of a game, so you don't have to. No need to thank me
Popular Post helloiamniven
#44, 45, 46, and 47 ARCADE GAME SERIES: PAC-MAN ARCADE GAME SERIES: Ms. PAC-MAN ARCADE GAME SERIES: DIG DUG Retro Gamer Retro Gamer Retro Gamer 36.97% - Uncommon 52.59% Common 37.44% Uncommon ARCADE GAME SERIES: GALAGA Retro Gamer 28.56% Uncommon Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 The difficulty and enjoyment are for the four games as a whole. Sorry if the formatting is a bit of an eyesore - it just seemed to make sense to group these all together. These games are all classics, obviously, and they're all pretty good. My personal favourite of them is Galaga, and my least favourite was Dig Dug, but it was admittedly the only one I hadn't previously played - maybe I need to take off my nostalgia glasses, but it is what it is Some of the trophies across the board were genuinely tricky, and would have been much harder without save-scumming - the Galaga 'Perfect' trophies probably being the hardest. That being said, the games are good fun and the platinum for all four can be achieved in a short amount of time. I feel like these games are somewhat exempt from my short pseudo-reviews, so you'll already know what to expect from these.
Jak
Platinum Earn all trophies 44,41% UNCOMMON Enjoy 3/10 Difficulty 2/10 What a piece of trash. Boring Storyline full with cliches. Average American Firefighter must save the Country/World from the Alien Invasion and tries to save his family. BOOOOOOOORIIIIIING!!! Average graphic, bad controls. The only good thing is the very easy Plat and only 1 MP Trophy . You could easily finish it in 1 day, but the danger of falling asleep is very high. Never played a Resistance game before and i guess i will never play one again. Advice at all: If you want to play a good FPS on the Vita pick Killzone Mercenary. Did you need the online pass to play online? Did you buy your game new or used? Popular Post SoapMacTavish222
#200 Salt and Sanctuary. I absolutely loved this game. It combined Dark Souls level of difficulty with a classic side scroll style game. You will die multiple times in this game but it's still a blast to play. The graphics are "eh" but it's definitely worth the $18. So if you're looking for a bit of challenge, pick it up!
Popular Post GoodbyeBread
Plat #51 - The Last Of UsAhh Naughty Dog. You gave us Crash Bandicoot and Uncharted (which are my favorite games from them). The Last of Us is definitely going to be up there....kind of.High Points are Single Player, Crafting, Characters and Collectables. Single player is where I had the most enjoyable experience. Crafting is very fun, yet very imperative. Playing the game regularly and on NG+, I have enjoyed setting a bunch of clickers on fire or just blowing them up with the Nail bomb. The Smoke Bomb, Shot Gun, Upgraded weapon and Shiv were my saving grace throughout Survivor mode. Characters were well developed and voice acting is great. Having them help out in game was very satisfying (saving you when you about to die or giving you supplies and ammo when your are out). Collectibles were interesting both in game and bonuses. Seeing the artwork for how the developers decided how the Characters and enemies were going to be modeled are very detailed. Maybe I should take an Art Class Low Points are Multiplayer, Empty Drawers, Clickers and Bloaters. Multiplayer, although having a good concepts of gameplay, was my least favorite part of the game. Teams were unbalanced as high ranks were always going against low ranks. There were some exceptions of fairness, but the most of it was very unpleasant. Going through single player on a harder difficulty meant going to a great challenge and obstacle. I was ready for it, but not ready for many empty drawers, as I felt very hopeless (thankfully, we have shiv rooms). Clickers and Bloaters were ultimately the hardest part of playing through survivor mode. There was so many time where I have thrown a shiv or bomb at them and they shrugged it off to kill you anyway.Regardless, I had a pleasant experience with The Last Of Us. Definitely a game you should consider playing. Edited July 27, 2016 by GoodbyeBread

Popular Post slash
#66 - FuriPlatinum Trophy - Collect all trophiesPS+ has been pretty disappointing lately, but it really came through in July with this gem of a title. Furi pits you against boss after boss after boss in this brutal hack-n-slash journey. With the art style of Afro Samurai's Ozakashi Takashi, you're armed with a katana and a laser pistol as you slice and shoot your way to your freedom. The visuals are flat out stunning to suit the responsive and demanding combat. There are no upgrades, items, or standard progression systems in Furi. You only have 5 basic moves: slash, shoot, dodge, parry and boost, and it's your responsibility to get creative in how to use them to take down these unique and vicious bosses. The true progress you make in this game is your own pure skill. Mistakes will be made, you will die multiple times, and you will get frustrated. But patience, experience, and righting your wrongs will win out if you meet the challenge head on. Combine that with a sensational OST, this is one seriously awesome package.Furi drove me insane at times, but conquering this game has been one of the most satisfying experiences I've had in quite some time. It's not for everyone, but I suggest everyone at least try it. You might feel overwhelmed, but you'll be surprised how quickly you can be a complete badass with some dedication. skateak
Did you need the online pass to play online? Did you buy your game new or used? Yeah you do need an Online Pass. I would buy the game new because you can probably get it cheaper than a used copy and the pass on PSN. The only thing I would be aware of is that someone said the Online Pass in the case said it would expire in May 25, 2015. He bought the game in December 2015 and the pass was still redeemable though. Popular Post ANT1-TheLegend
# 27 NFS Rivals Enjoyement 6/10 Difficulty 3/10 I think this was my last NFS. They just lost it, i was a fan who played almost every game since NFS III, but i don't get as much fun as before. The game was enjoyable enough to plat it, i like the way you are put on compete with your psn friends on everything. The gameplay was ok, the fact that you can't pause the game brings rush and adrenaline because you can screw what you've done in an hour in only one second. Anyway the cars choices were poor and i got several freezes during my playtime. I don't recommand this game and i'm happy to be done with. Thanks for reading !
Donkrieg1011
Plat #52: Ether One After hearing so many complaints about various bugs and glitches from this game, I was quite hesitant to try it. I made it through the game quite easily until the very last minute when I encountered a rare glitch that locked me out of the last collectible. After that I had to restart the game all over again, which was boring because it pretty much has nothing else to offer after the first playthrough. Overall, I can only recommend this game to trophy enthusiasts because it is still such a broken and glitchy mess even after all those patches. SoapMacTavish222
#201 Orc Slayer. We've all heard the expression "you get what you pay for." Well in this case, you pay $3.99 and you get an easy platinum. However, buyer beware. This game is a garbage dumpster filled with poop juice. It is HORRIBLE. If you're being a trophy whore like I was, download this turd of a game. But if you don't care too much about trophies, then just uhhh, stay away from this one.

Popular Post Suicide_Tortuga
#135: BioShock 2 Platinum Trophy I finally take the dive into the world of BioShock, better late than never I guess. I know I played the second game before the first, but I really wanted to take advantage of all the BioShock 2 boosting session that were popping up now, that way I don't need to make my own and wait for players to join hopefully. To begin with the MP grind was boring and took 24 hours to get all the MP trophies. The single player game was pretty great the way your choices change the outcome in the ending and dialogue leading towards it. To become the monster or the savior is all up to you. I'm definitely going to continue until I do the other games in the series, I already own them so it's just a matter of when. Can't wait to head back into the wonderful twisted world of Rapture.
