Popular Post Jermster_91
#172 Hogwarts Legacy For those that are a fan of the Harry Potter books or films, this game will bring back memories before Harry, Ron, and others actually attend the famed school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The game's story for the most part is pretty fun to play, however, having 603 collectibles is a bit much, especially when most are cosmetic for your witch or wizard or if you want to decorate the room the room of requirement. It took me roughly 73 hours to get the Platinum, however the saves on the game total to roughly 55 hours or so. If you are a fan of the world created by J.K. Rowling, it is certainly worth trying it and experiencing it for yourself. Edited April 26 by Jermster_91

Popular Post AtarashiM0
#32 I know this is an unpopular opinion, but this is my favorite game in the series. I find Sly 4 to be a really beautiful game for the PS3 standards, it aims 60fps with clean graphics and amazing environments making it really pleasant to look at, the missions are really fun with many places to explore and I like the idea how traveling in time to visit Sly's ancestors. The story might not be the best but it's still charming enough for a platformer. Very enjoyable experience! (Even though there are some stupid trophies like needing to activate the compass 500 times, just why)

Popular Post OmriStyle27
#79 - Unravel (PS4) - The Red Thread Collect all Trophies. ------------------------------ Unravel is a game i both like and hate at the same time. i like the game for what it is but i hate the game because of the platinum journey. the game itself is just marvelous , great 2D Platformer with amazing art style and beautiful soundtrack. seriously , i think is one of the most unique games i've played in recent times. the idea of a character made of thread that have to find more thread along the way in order to keep going was really creative. also the level design is really good with great and unique ambience to each level. Unravel is also a puzzle game and thankfully the puzzle weren't so bad , a bit of trial and error and anyone can solve them. but the game does have its flaws - first of all , the game is pretty short with only 12 levels , almost no story and no voice acting. yeah i do understand that those type of games doesn't really need much because they let the art speaks of itself but i just felt they could do a bit more here. the physics in this game are a bit wonky , meaning that you can die a lot on some of the harder section of the game. also sometimes some obstacles refuse to move the way they should and honestly sometimes i felt like i need more luck than skill in order to get through some of the harder parts of this game. which is why i hated the platinum journey so much because there is a trophy for beating all the levels in the game without dying and that was so frustrating and annoying to do due to the wonky physics and obstacles. and even if the game worked flawlessly , it's still can be very frustrating to beat every level without dying , seriously i hate this kind of trophies. there are also many collectibles in very annoying location that can be infuriating to get. honestly i didn't enjoy my platinum journey with this game , very frustrating and very annoying. i'd recommend to play the game for what it is and avoid the platinum at all cost. Popular Post HawaiiGator
#241 - Lawn Mowing Simulator This game is actually really fun. It's amazing how chill it can be to just mow some grass but underneath all that zen is a difficult and grindy platinum. This game tasks you with building a lawn mowing business and as you do this, challenges become available. You need to complete all amateur, professional, and expert challenges for trophies. Expert challenges 5 and 7 will break most trophy hunters and the grind to 100 miles in career mode is agonizing. There is DLC which tasks you with doing all it's challenges as well but besides that one trophy, the rest aren't too bad. Good luck to anyone trying to get this platinum and 100%. You have been warned! Other than that, this game is great for casuals.
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #349 Gleamlight One Who Has Witnessed All Unlocked all trophies. Once again I am punished by thinking this was a different game I played on Steam. (Unbound: Worlds Apart) This looks nice has some good music (one song is particularly annoying) and has nice trophy icons... but that's about it for the game. It's boring. Linear, terrible combat, brainless platforming for all but one or two jumps that require thought. And you have to play through it multiple times for all the endings. The idea of that isn't bad, you even get a power to invert the level on a whim, but it serves no real purpose and breaks if you get hit. If the game had more creative use of this or it's subsequent playthroughs it might be a hidden gem. If it actually was a Metroidvania for example. Combat you regen health when hitting stuff and so do enemies so it can be a chore sometimes to beat that flying boss as it swoops around and nips you and you nip it. This takes all difficulty out of the game and worse of all when you die you get stronger. And of course it has a "die 100 times" trophy that was patched to be harder since you get stronger faster or just stronger in general. Took me forever to grind this out. I started counting and got to 59 before I finally got it with the deaths I didn't count during. What a disappointment. Not just that it wasn't the game I thought (my bad~) but that it is really quite beautiful, if a bit same-y. But if it had added variety and better design choices, again could've been a gem. Unfortunately it is not. Thrilled it's over.

Popular Post setobox
#87 Where The Bees Make Honey There is Also A World Inside of Me Unlock All Other Trophies Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I went into this game expecting a cozy game about bees. What I got was a surrealist game about a woman thinking about her childhood and how much fun she had with her wild imagination. . This all leads up to Spoiler the woman working up the courage to leave her shitty job that made her work alone on the weekend. Only real issue are the bugs with some of the puzzles and the enemies. Yes there are enemies in this game. I give it a 7/10. I like it went games go absurd and dive into surrealism. #88 What Remains of Edith Finch All Done Unlock All Trophies Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 So I first started this game back in 2019 but stopped because the subject matter was so heavy and I told myself that I would pick it back up one day. Fast forward five years and I completed the game twice in one day, first the PS4 version I originally started on and then the PS5 release that came with extra trophies and a platinum. This is a very beautiful, emotional game about curses and death and the pain and trauma that multiple back to back tragedies cause. For example, Barbara's murder traumatized her younger brothers and eventually lead to their deaths. Calvin and Sam swore to never be scared again and that lack of fear for both of them caused their deaths, ironically Spoiler both by falling off a cliff. Walter was so traumatized that Spoiler he locked himself in the basement for 30 years. There were so many parts in this game where I would just gasp when I realized what was happening or about to happen, Spoiler like with poor Gregory and poor Lewis. I understand why Dawn decided to run away. She lost her father and brothers in a short time period and for ten years she was happy! And then her husband dies, Spoiler her middle son vanishes in the night, her uncle is killed by a train. All within three years of each other. The straw that broke the camel's back was her oldest son's death. I understand why she went "Fuck this, I'm out." Because that can wear a person's soul down. But I think what Edie and Edith were trying to tell us that you can't fear death and to just accept that it. That death will happen regardless if you are in the house or outside of it. That it wasn't the family stories that were causing the curse to continue but just bad luck. And if there is a curse then you just have to make the most of what you have and love your family while you are here and they are here. And that it is okay to document and learn about your family, unlike what Dawn feared. I give this game a 10/10. If you haven't played The Unfinished Swan, there was a part in this game that called back to it and showed us that Spoiler Edith's brother Milton is The King in that game and has a son named Monroe. Which means, along with Edith's own son, the Finches still live on. One in the real world and then one in world of paint. #89 ASTRO'S PLAYROOM You've Only Done Everything Found all trophies in ASTRO's PLAYROOM. See you in our next adventure! Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 So this is my first introduction to Astro since I did not have a PS4 camera for The Playroom nor a VR headset for Astro's rescue mission. This was an adorable platformer that showed off what the PS5 can do plus a love letter to the previous consoles. It was great looking for the shout out to old playstation games or games that used to be exclusive to playstation. Also I was not expecting the Spoiler T-rex from the tech demo from 1994 to show up! 9/10 #90 WHO PRESSED MUTE ON UNCLE MARCUS? Platinum Trophy Acquire all trophies Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 This was one of the many FMV games Wales interactive made during lockdown along with Five Dates. This murder mystery game is very funny because you quickly realize that all of Abby's family are assholes who could reasonably be murderers and it is your job to find out who it was. The self centered nature of the suspect can wear you down fast because there were times I went "no one gives a shit about your singing. please stop." But the true ending where the main character decides to Spoiler distance herself from her toxic family except from her uncle and her sister, leave her toxic job and finally follow her dreams was cathartic. Money and doing things that made them unhappy had destroyed her family and even though she knows she won't make a lot of money as a game dev, she would be happy. #91 TEACUP A Lazy Afternoon Unlocked all trophies Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 A short and cozy game about an introverted frog named Teacup who is planning on hosting a tea party but is shocked to learn she is out of tea! So now she has to leave her home to look for some. Teacup has a small book that tells you all the different kinds of teas and how they are made has she finds them. There are minigames and puzzles and only one was slightly difficult. I recommend this game if you just want a short and quick game to play to wind down for the day. Note: From what I was able to figure out is that Teacup does not leave her home at all and people she encounters are actually worried that she is out until she says why. Which kinds added to the charm of this game. That the villagers rarely see her but they do care about her. Edited April 27 by setobox
Popular Post fischyyyOfficial
#192 - The Last of Us Part II Remastered + DLC's ( 100% ) - Every Last One of Them ( 7,5% Very Rare / 47,61% Uncommon ) Time to 100% the Game : 22 hours Completed in 6 days, 1 hour Difficulty : 4 / 10 Game Rating : 10 / 10 Personal impression : Got the platinium on PS4 already but somehow my 100% save file was broken so I needed to upload an earlier save. Thank god the grounded and perma death trophy popped right away. I probably needed to play half through the story again which took me around 10 hours. After that I completed the "No Return DLC" which took me another 12 hours to complete. The daily grounded run in this DLC is pretty doable due to save scumming with PS could and accessibility options available. Nothing too hard. This game is a 10/10 and a must play. I loved TLOU 1 and also TLOU 2. If I need to pick a game which i do prefer it is pretty hard. They are both 10/10 games but for me TLOU 2 is even slightly better.
Popular Post Mr_Wright95
Platinum 190: Prodeus This was my first introduction to the Doom / Boomer Shooter genre and with that being said this game felt absolutely great. The game gets you straight into the action, no cutscenes, no dialogue, nothing. Now I will say that this is both a strength and a weakness, because the games story is delivered via text at the level select screen. Personally I did not read any of that until about halfway through the game when I realised I didnt really have any clue what was going on. I feel the game missed an opportunity here to use the loading screen to have this dialogue delivered via voice acting, which is a real shame. The gameplay itself is great. The music and action is awesome and overall the game plays very well. The retro art style delivers on what it is trying to achieve and overall this was a very very good game in terms of pure fun. I will say that the platinum experience does detract marginally from the experience as having to get all the kills and all the secrets on some levels can be very difficult as enemies and secrets can be so well hidden. Having to reference a guide for nearly every level was a bit of a shame. The community levels are also a must for this game as 1 trophy (10K kills) is such an absurd grind compared to the length of the campaign / how many kills you can get in one playthrough. With all that being said I do recommend this game, especially if you enjoy Doom / other games in that genre. I have ranked this game at the top of the "Solid and Fun" games tier and contemplated it for "Fantastic" but having to reference a guide constantly as well as the lack of voice acting to deliver the story felt lazy. Popular Post Dauersack
Towaga: Among Shadows #78: Towaga Fun little game, great art, decently challenging, bit of a story but nothing special in that regard, trophy list was basic collectibles and a bit of challenge mode stuff, nothing grindy or frustrating. Overall this is a good game to play in between two bigger completions, takes no effort to learn at all given that it is played with a single button and the use of the sticks, different modes giving a bit of variety, upgrades for base stats as well as the 6 different active abilities are reasonably powerful. Given that this game is often on sale for dirt cheap I will recommend to buy it for some casual fun, it has multiplayer too but I didn't bother with that.

Popular Post KenjiCBZ
#130: Astro Bot Rescue Mission Star Lord (13.07% - Rare) You collected all ASTRO BOT™ Rescue Mission trophies. You rock! Now, time to get out and see the real world! As we all know, Astro's Playroom was a success, and since it was released along with the Ps5, a lot of people asked for an actual and longer platforming game featuring Astro. But not many know, such game already exists, and was released two years earlier than Astro's Playroom! Too bad that, unfortunately, it's a VR game and so not everyone can play it. Astro Bot Rescue Mission is a funny 15-20 hours game Platinum, featuring a total of 20 levels and 6 boss fights. The Trophy list is a bit more demanding than in Astro's Playroom, since we have to collect all of the boys scattered through the levels as well as perform various miscellaneous tasks, but most importantly this game has a total of 26 challenges of various nature. Only a couple of them were a bit annoying and took me several tries. The first is a time trial where you have to use the DualShock to shoot shurikens against the wall so you can use them as platforms: it was tricky doing so while also progressing through the level at a decent speed, but thankfully the time to beat is easy and I beat him by 20 seconds. The other is the shark boss fight, that you have to win without suffering damage, very precise movement is required to do so. Other than that, every challenge was easy enough and I did them in few tries. The only real problem is that to use the game gimmicks, such as the already mentioned shurikens, you need an actual DualShock 4: since my controllers are not original, it was very tricky playing in the sections where these gimmicks are essential to progress, since I had to hold the controllers in uncomfortable positions so they could be detected by the Ps4 camera. In the occasions where I didn't make it, I had to borrow my brother in law's DualShock.
Popular Post Biscoito18
#256 - Last Stop All Done Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Rarity: 60.68% (PSNP) / 16.1% (PSN) The main characters are interesting and the three stories started strong but it all came crashing down in the end. It would've been much better if they had left the supernatural/fantasy aside and focused the final part only on the hard choices that had to be made and their impacts. Donna's story, in particular, had so much potential but was completely swallowed by the other two in the final part. #257 / #258 - The Gardens Between Platinum Garden Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Rarity: 81.34%-72.52% (PSNP) / 27%-16.05% (PSN) Beautiful puzzle game with some very creative solutions, but what really caught my attention was the relatable and emotional story. We all had to say goodbye to several little friends throughout our childhood. Friends that we will never see again but that will always have a place in our memories. I remembered some of mine while playing.
