Popular Post Aragorn_Elite
Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection - European Version of Sonic's Genesis Ultimate Collection Everyone who was a kid in the 80s or 90s should own this. Even If you weren't Great Game, It took me back to my childhood as I played some games which I owned when I was a kid. I found myself thinking "OW this game for the time it was launched must have been great! I wish I had it" Very Easy Plat though it must be done with a second controller to unlock Phantasy Star. I was so relieved that my cheap compatible controller worked out just fine ^^
Popular Post zajac9999
#107 NBA 2K13. This was my first '2k' sports game and my first basketball game since NBA Street on the ps2. I thought it was an excellent game and thoroughly enjoyed playing to the plat, even the going towards the immortality trophy was an enormous grind. I'd recommend this to any basketball fan, although obviously 2k14 is out now. This is ultra rare plat #13 and my rarest plat/trophy to date.

Popular Post Shadowrider50
Got these 3 over the last 3 days: Was a 0% on my profile since circa 2.5yr ago, decided to get 100% now. It was hard but not too hard, and took me 4d4h46m. Polyglotism made this experience interesting. First played 1-1.5yr ago, but gave up games for trophies then, so did it now. Lacked previous save, but only 2hr to recover progress. Easy if you just stealth/run/drive. Platinum is doable in like 12h. It felt good to do this in German - nice how they got all those languages and also for voice. I suck at drawing Easy platinum just like the other 2 uDraw games (which I'll do next), you can do this in like 6-8 hours of gameplay.
Popular Post MatCauthon
#93 Resogun I came, I saw, I blew stuff up 13.92% - Rare Resogun can be fairly addictive. The game is really beautiful and it does a good job of showing off the particle effects made possible by the PS4. The harder difficulties can be frustrating, especially when enemies spawn (rather quickly) right on top of you. It really helps to do Veteran difficulty and 1CC in co-op, as well as having a friend that has Master difficulty unlocked for Masterful Dodger. My ass was saved on those trophies by having an awesome co-op partner. Thanks to Rowdi and bmj14772 for the co-op help!

Popular Post SitusKiss
# 138 Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag Earned by 3,312 of 49,110 PS4 game owners Ubisoft does it again. AC IV is now my absolute favorite Assassin's Creed game to date. The "assassin" part seemed a little forced into the storyline since it focused on Edward Kenway (Privateer) and the never-ending quest to plunder the Caribbean. Unlike ACIII, this game starts you off on the right track. You are in control of the protagonist right from the start. There is no confusion as to what is in store for your upcoming adventure(s). The premise of the story in this was fairly minimal; however, it was very entertaining and kept my attention. The map size in this game is absurdly huge. The good thing, though, is there are "fast travel" points all over the place that you can utilize at almost any time and from almost anywhere. There are so many things to do in this game that you can easily get side-tracked and lost in pure enjoyment for hours while not really making any progress in the game, haha. I found myself doing this often. Missions: There were a decent mixture of missions but, like most AC games, they are bound by a finite task list (Follow, Eavesdrop, Assassinate, etc). There were optional objectives in each mission to give the game replay value and a need for some strategy though. As is seemingly customary now, there is a split in the storyline whereby you are actually a modern day character (unknown in this title) that uses the Animus to explore the memories of someone in the past (re-living their memories and actions). There are sequences that involve controlling the modern day character where you must travel around the Abstergo Entertainment building for specific tasks (first-person control scheme). Collectibles: There were a large number of collectibles however, most are not required for the trophies. For each collectible set that is completed, you will earn in-game rewards (like Outfits, weapons, etc.). Difficulty: The difficulty of this game is really quite non-existent. There is no difficulty selection for the story. There will be a few challenging tasks early on if you decide to tackle them but, waiting until you get upgrades for your ship and/or upgraded health/weapons will make these much easier later in the game. A few of the missions may require you to replay them a time or two for the 100% sync but, that requirement is only for the main story missions. Multiplayer: Ubisoft managed to step up the mp again with ACIV. Fortunately, Wolfpack did make it back into the playlist - and they added some spice to it this time around. The other multiplayer modes are mainly standard AC benchmarks including Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch, Assassinate, Domination and Artifact Assault. Another interesting addition to the mp was the ranking system. There are multiple ways of "climbing the ladder". You now have an Abstergo Rank in addition to your actual mp level. The Abstergo Rank is a way of showing your overall skill level in public competitive mode. You are compared against the entire AC IV mp community and fall into 1 of 6 tiers... I believe this is all for the benefit of showing off your e-penis as it didn't seem to unlock any exclusive content or whatnot; it did unlock an emblem for use in the mp for each tier you get to. In my experience with the mp, there were much less "Roofers & Sprinters" in the community. My experience in each of the modes, for the most part, was quite enjoyable. There were a few n00bs that were getting 50-75pt kills on me while I was stunning them for 100pts (even after the /2 deduction for being contested). LOL. Good times. Trophies: The trophy list was pretty straight forward. The only trophy that wasn't 100% clear was the "All Rounder" where you had to use every ability and play each mode in the multiplayer. It was pretty simple but, will require you to level up pretty far to be able to afford unlocking the abilities. You are required to reach level 55 (nearly prestige level 1) but, you can easily do this on your own in Wolfpack. In closing, I really enjoyed this game. The pirate theme along with the Assassin's Creed gameplay made this a real winner in my book. I am very excited to start the DLC and hope there will be, at least, a few more additions to the game. I highly recommend this game!!! Popular Post D-Tron
I got these two within a day of each other. One on the very last day of last month (2/28/14) and one on the very first day of next month (3/1/14). Platinum #29 - Ys: Memories of Celceta Timeless Adventurer Only have two gripes about this game. 1) the Treasure Hunter and Scavenger Hunter trophies and 2) It was a fairly short game for an RPG. Other than that, Ys is probably one of my most favored Vita games. The fast paced combat was very unique to me. You didn't have to transition into any battles, you fought all enemies on the world map. It had a great and ambient soundtrack that's criminally underrated and enticing gameplay. Platinum #30 - Danganronpa Despair's Last Reward Ever since 999, I've become a huge nut for visual novels. I've also played Virtue's Last Reward (I love the reference they made with the Plat, lol). I actually found the story better than Virtue's Last Reward and 999. You know someone is gonna crack under the pressure. It's easier to narrow down who won't kill rather than who will. You know full well someone will drop dead (literally) and that someone was willing to exchange the life of someone else for their own freedom. The class trials is where the game really shines. It's fun and intense and more of the stories great story unfolds even more during them. Once you 'win' the trial, it still fells like a loss because you'll have to say goodbye to characters you liked as they go through one of Monokuma's (really) bizarre and cruel punishments. I can't recommend this game enough to people with a Vita. Edited March 6, 2014 by Blue Flare
