Popular Post grimydawg___
77 and Trophy 4000 Resogun A very solid title. I'd rate it about a 9/10 and the difficulty is around a 5 for me. The game got much easier, as I played the levels more. I'd recommend this game to anyone who likes little shooters. Popular Post REDSHIRT64
Platinum # 49 and 100% Assassins Creed III Well this was a backlog game for me as the first time I played this game, as it was my first AC game ever, I had no clue what was going on and after about 4 hours I put it back on the shelf.. 1 year later, while in the midst of my determination to complete as much backlog as possible, I decided to blow off the dust and throw this bad boy in the PS3 and give it another go. Now I read online the story of AC and got myself caught up to this entry so the story would make sense. I thought the game was going great because I was really enjoying Haytham's story and was into the game.... Then enter Connor and the abysmal mess of a game to follow. Short and simple I did not enjoy this game one bit after the first 4 hours. Connor's story was nothing short of drabble and induced countless hours of boredom. The mission types were so repetitive, if I had to follow without being seen or eavesdrop one more conversation I was near ready to eat the game disc to destroy this atrocity. Then there were the glitches.... from NPC's not being where they are supposed to be to mission markers not appearing. And a big California Salute ( Jed Clampett reference, although a lot of this community is prolly to young to remember him lol ) to the Encyclopedia of the Common Man and the miner known as Norris... Do you even work ever during the day or just smoke cigs?? lol Another disappointment was how recycled the kill animations were.. I understand that they cannot be easy to create, but with 3 yrs+ development time and so much hype behind it, I was expecting to not have seen all variations of kill animations within the first 2 hours. Finally the end of the game **spoiler free** was not how I expect a game to end a game, it felt very rushed to the conclusion. Now there are some aspects of the game I did like, the Naval Missions are bad ass and really fun. Graphically the game looks great, the detail in the soldiers and officers was awesome and the DLC story was actually compelling and much more enjoyable imo that the main story. Tyrannical Washington is a bad man! Some people like this game and some people bash the life out of this game. To each their own!! Plat Difficulty: 6/10 - Not a tough game once you know the controls Fun Factor: 5/10 - Naval Missions and the DLC save this from a lower score from me
Popular Post Precision-Playyy
Need for speed undercover Plat. Rating 7/10 Difficulty 4/10 It was a fairly good game in my opinion if it didnt have so many glitches and bugs in it i would have rated it an 8 or a 9, by far the best NFS game out on the ps3 so far, with all of the turning into drifting games aha, was not too hard to plat apart from the fact that there is a trophy that requires you to win in a lobby of 8 human characters, trying to do this without boostin is near impossible now considering the game is 5 or 6 years old, and no one plays it anymore, but aside from that trophy the rest of the game was fairly easy, if anyone else is looking to plat this game i suggest creating a gaming session, message me and il help also
Popular Post Xerapher
#19 BioShock Infinite Platinum Columbia Without a doubt this game was awesome though it does pose as an annoyance that it doesn't have a decent save system but still a good game non the less. And even on 1999 mode this game still provided much fun and excitement like when I was playing Survivor Difficulty back in The Last of Us. The trophy icons look awesome to boot and fits well with the game's theme, so far this is my favorite plat I've earned this year but I'm sure there will be another eventually.

I've lost count, the amount of times a character got stuck somewhere in the scenery and as a reslut I had to restart the chapter. Popular Post Dr_Mayus
#123-Oddworld Munch's Oddysee WARNING INCOMING RANT So I originally got this game from Plus because I wanted an O platinum and it was ultra-rare. On top of that I REALLY love platformers so I thought "what the hell". Now to start off with some positives this game as some good ideas. The level designs are interesting, the different playstyles of Munch and Abe is a good twist and finally things like possession is a fun gaming mechanic. Also it throws in a morality system that if done right could have given the game replay value to see how things play out. That is where the positives end and now I am going to take those positives and tear them apart. Level Design I posted earlier that game developers need to ask themselves "is this a fun section and if it is not we should remove it" Well there are so many parts in this game that are just repetitive for the sake of "challenge". Like running around an open field with no enemies or obstacles picking up sheep and throwing them in a pen...about 30 times. The sheep don't run away they just stand there so the only "challenge" is it takes 2 or 3 minutes to do. Or how about placing 20 overpowered badguys in a small enclosure that take about 6 hits each but can kill you in 3 and finally make the respawn area about 30 seconds back so you have to walk/swim all the way back there. This isn't hard because you can respawn as many times as you like it just takes 10 or so minutes to beat (and yes I checked there isn't a better way of beating it). Final example you have to rescue egg crates for the best ending but to do this you have to pick each one up (there are about 20-30) and throw it into the pit that is several inches off the ground. This means that you could accidentally break a crate and have to reload your game...once again this takes 3 or 4 minutes with no enemies or obstacles to avoid. Game Mechanics There aren't really any. The only way to attack is to get scrubs to do it for you, possession or cans. So what happens is you get surrounded by enemies and you have to run away looking for something to fight back with. Who thought that would be fun? The Camera isn't able to do a full 360 so often times you will fall off a ledge because you didn't see there was a gap in front of you. Also there isn't a double jump so you often miss your target because abe/munch don't always jump where you want them to. This comes into play especially when trying to jump in water where Munch will just bounce off of every wall and ceiling while trying to aim him on the little ledge. Morality SystemThis is the biggest joke. In most Choice games if you choose to play evil there is always a way to win the game (you just do it more evilly). In this game you need your allies to open doors or work switches so if you kill them to early you lose the level. What ended up happening to me at the beginning was I would kill the allies instantly then realize I needed them so I had to trek back to the regenerating section to bring them alive, bring them to the part I needed then trek backwards to find a cliff to throw them off...oh yeah super-villain me. The last thing is there are sometimes you cannot kill your allies because you cannot pick them up and all the enemies are dead. The first time I played the game this happened to me and I was locked out of the Super Evil ending (meaning I had to do a 4th playthrough) Glitches This game was famous for its glitches. Finally after a year of being out the developers fixed the trophy glitch but even then it didn't work for me. I had to delete my config save, delete the game, reinstall the game, NOT install the patch, reload my save from the patched version and then the trophy unlocked for me. This game requires 2 playthroughs and I had to do 4...and I was one of the lucky ones. In the end I heard this series is actually pretty good and Munch's Oddysee is the black sheep of the family but then I have to ask "why did they give this one away for free?" You think they would have given one of the good ones for free to hook people on the series to make some money. Nintendo didn't remake Wand of Gamelon to sell with the 3ds, they remade Ocarina of time. They also didn't create an HD remake of Mario's Missing...because they know that game sucks. So in conclusion this game has some good ideas, they just are not executed very well. At least I have an O platinum now

Popular Post TheIncinerator1
Remember Me I'm honestly glad this game was free and I'm also glad to be done with it. I haven't disliked a game so much in a while, but this became such a chore to finish. The only remotely interesting mechanic was remixing memories, and even that was barely used to it's full potential. It's sad when I'd actually rather play a puzzle game based around the remixing than the actual game itself. I definitely wouldn't play it again, hard to recommend as well

Kittens Are Awesome
Congrats! Glad you finally got this. However, I have a few notes to add to your issues. I edited them in your quote. Level Design The sheep scene, you didn't do it as intended. However, to give you credit, neither did I on my first run. I did it the way you did the first time around because I was going for not using the wheelchair along with not growing spooce. My buddy, who was playing the game at the same time as me, told me, on my next run, to use Munch in the wheelchair since the sheep scatter for Munch. You can corral them into the pen in no time. If you are talking about the scene near the end of the game where you are munch and you have to jump on that platform where all the armored Vykers are, there is a fairly easy way of doing that. You have to jump from the water, not be shot up from the cannon, onto the short part of the platform. You lure one to you, shock it once, reposition yourself, then shock them into the water. After taking out one, you're suppose to jump back down into the water to lose their attention. Second run I did it without dying once. Game Mechanics I suppose this is all personal preference. I didn't have the issues with the mechanics like you did. Morality System This might also be personal preference/game-play. Since I did my angelic run on my first play-through, I already knew what to expect on my second run. I don't think I had but two or three restarts due to messing something up. I made a lot of redundant saves on my second PT though. The place I will agree with you on were those fucking eggs. Annoying as hell. I got lucky and only broke one or two. Didn't affect my PT at all. Glitches I must have been one of the lucky few who did the not-regrow trophy on my first PT and not have it glitch. In fact, I experienced very few glitches at all. Any that I did were minor graphical ones. Both my buddy and I enjoyed this game very much. It's too bad you didn't get the same enjoyment. Congrats on the big O! Dr_Mayus
Congrats! Glad you finally got this. However, I have a few notes to add to your issues. I edited them in your quote. OK you really need to write the guide then because I looked up better ways of doing that end scene and everyone said the same way I did it . Actually on my fourth playthrough I used possession to take over the machine gun guys and that worked pretty well as I only died a couple of times. Also I tried the wheelchair way of getting the sheep and I found it just scattered them and took longer so I went back to picking them up because I knew that at least worked. Anyways like I said the game had a lot of good ideas but it really needed to hone them better. I really liked the differences between Abe and Munch and I wish more games had that ability to switch between two characters to complete a level. Honestly thinking about it that was probably the best part of the game and I would love to see them try it again but with a little more polish. Also as I mentioned the game had good level design and each level felt and played differently so there was a lot of good stuff about the game. Anyways the world needs more platformers so I will take them when I can get them I have heard that Stranger's Wraith is the best Oddworld game so I may give that a chance eventually

Popular Post MatCauthon
#92 Remember Me Remember you soon 13.39% - Rare I have mixed feelings about this game. The Arkham-esque combat can be fun, but it does get repetitive. The platforming is fairly dull and often unresponsive. The Memory Remixes are pretty cool, but weren't used enough. As a free Plus game, it's worth the dozen or so hours it will take to plat the game. However, I wouldn't recommend spending any actual money to purchase it. The story and concept are original, but I think the potential was wasted. It's a very easy platinum, with a ton of collectibles.
