Popular Post Biertje373
Platinum #68 A Plague Tale: Requiem Requiem Fun: 9/10 Difficulty 2/10 My first platinum of the year is finally here! And it's all because I procrastinated the new game plus of this game. When A Plague Tale Innocence was the PS+ game of 2021, I was immediately hooked and couldn't wait for the sequel, and this game didn't disappoint. There were a couple of things that I needed to upgrade in new game+, but it wasn't too bad, skipping most cutscenes and knowing what I had to do made it not too bad. Some things I'll keep doing like talking about the positives and lesser stuff, starting with the positives. + The story is even better. + The ending is dark but it goes so well. + The music is pretty good. + They've improved the combat. + Loved getting all the collctibles. + One of the new characters; Sophia is the best character in the series, she's fantastic! + Hugo really grew as a character. Now there are some lesser things. - I can't say that I love the skills based on how much killing you do, sure it's not that bad once you understand it but I could've done without it. - The crossbow, while cool, didn't really add anything for me. But aside from that, it's a great game, I had great expectations but this game surpassed them. I can recommend this game to anyone. And here's the platinum screenshot, thankfully I was able to do NG+ in invincibility mode because I wan't in the mood for it:

Popular Post Umdytr
The Medium, a few minutes ago. Got all collectibles during the first run and had to do a partial second playthrough for the annoying Phantom trophy, but thankfully that one popped quickly at least. Pretty middling game to be honest. Good art direction, monster designs and atmosphere, but it's basically a walking simulator with a couple extra steps and the story/characters weren't that engaging to follow. Speaking of engaging characters: time to go back to the depressing yet exhilarating ride that is Steins;Gate.

Popular Post PraiseTheFluppi
#89 - Happy's Humble Burger FarmWhat Year Is It? Difficulty: 2/10 Time: ~15 hours Enjoyment: 4/10 A creepy fast food simulator with a cow which doesn't tolerate failure. ? This game started out as a terrifying experience, but unfortunately became a jump-scare festival in the end. It has great ominous visuals and the sounds are quite sinister, enough to give the player a creepy feeling throughout the game. If you're afraid of animal animatronics suddenly moving, then the game becomes even better! Sadly, the game becomes repetitive too quickly. You start your day, go to work, try to finish your haunted shift and go back home afterwards. On the way to work or back home, you can explore the city and figure out what exactly is going on. The city changes after almost every day which unlocks new items, you can find more clues and progress in the story. It's a good short horror game, but it suffers from somewhat inaccurate controls. At some points in the game, you have to be fast at picking up items, but the small cursor has to be on the object in order to pick it up. Sometimes, you have to stand exactly on top of the object or even squat down to get the cursor to register it, and even then it's not sure you pick it up. If you enjoy short horror games, I'd recommend it and say go for it, but don't expect too much from it! Horror also depends on the player, so I guess what isn't creepy for me might be frightening for someone else! Popular Post SirDave1988
# 146 + #147 Pinball Heroes (PS4 + PS5) Pinball Wizard!Unlock all trophies in Pinball Heroes. Managed to earn these couple of quick plats before the end of '22 to round off with 20 for the year, which for me is pretty good going. While it's great to now see PSP games get platinums, it's still frustrating to see only like half of all releases get support, if that. Kind of reminds me of the early PS3 trophy days, where you weren't sure whether games released between 2007-2009 had them or not. As for the game itself, this would have been pretty cool back in the day to have a portable pinball title with PlayStation IP tables. In the emulation however, the controls are a little off, so it's not quite as good, but I still had a good time with it, despite being rubbish at pinball haha. Difficulty - 2/10 Enjoyment - 5/10

Popular Post Bloke
Platinum 57/58 - Hollow Knight EU/NA Difficulty 5/10 - Enjoyment 5/10 Time - 23 hours 41 mins/12 hours 22 mins A great game, however I was clueless about the story. Second playthrough was definitely easier once I got the map memorised. Plenty of content and tough bosses as well. If you're a fan of metroidvanias, this is the game to play.

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #261 Gigantosaurus The Game Giganto!!!Collect all the trophies It's a licensed game, so very 'eh', but I'm okay with that. I hated it at first, because I chose the "easy" mode just to make it easy but didn't realize that meant restricting the camera. It has the most atrocious camera ever. I don't see how that makes it easier for children to play. Kids play Roblox and Fortnite. But once I turned that off, it wasn't so bad thankfully since it controls normally as I expected a 3D platform to. If it weren't for the lack of a double jump, or the spin attack adding to the jump like Scratt (which I expected this to be more like) or Jak & Daxter, I wouldn't have much to complain about in terms of the platforming itself. But it's so basic and a bummer. And you walk so slow, which wouldn't be an issue if not for the issue I'm going to talk about now. The level design and the fact that when you grab an egg you have to carry it all the way back to the start. There are usually a few eggs around each other with their own section of platforming to reach. This means going back to where you just were to get another egg. It's not so bad on most of the levels. However, two of them it's a fucking nightmare. The ice one, and the second one. The second one because half the stuff is up a cliff and to get there you have to travel half the lower portion of the level to an elevator that moves constantly. And then go on another elevator. Then grab something that lets you hover over to the top of the waterfall area. Given like half the eggs and other collectables are up there, it's very frustrating to constantly have to go back up there. All they had to do was set an elevator up near the eggs... or better yet, just let you keep going after getting an egg. Imagine if in a LEGO game when you got a Gold Brick you had to carry it somewhere to collect it. And then you'd have to go back for the next one that was right by the one you just got. It would be such a nightmare. The ice level because there's slops with ice you can't walk on and tons of huge walls and rocks in your way so you have to walk around a lot of crap to get everywhere. It's just so frustrating. Luckily the non-annoying levels exist or it would've really put a damper on my enjoyment of this shovelware. It's not a great game by any means, but it was fun and I was happy that I didn't have to pay for it since Outright Games games are always so short it's hard to justify paying for them. So when they hit the PS Collection or whatever it's now called, it's always nice to play them that way. Particularly since PS doesn't see deals as good as Steam. Now to play their second Ben 10 game. edit; oh and you switch characters, and it's a straight cycle through with no option to go back (it uses R1 to switch, L1 is used for nothing~). It's very slow and annoying. They have abilities used for progression, and so it's annoying they don't use the also unused d-pad to assign the four characters... to the four directions. Do people who make games play them or not? How hard would that have been? I feel like kids would have an easier time doing that. idk... and the UI is ugly as sin. edit2; second Ben 10 has quick switch with the d-pad :'D Edited January 7, 2023 by Elvick_
Popular Post s68sc
Difficulty 2/10 - Fun 9/10 - DLC 9.5/10 It was a 2 Years journey for me, I did play and complete the main story in 2020 when it was on PS Now without any DLCs and then when it was released on PS Plus, I didn't complete it until now, and I use the Assist Mode because I wanted to complete it as fast as possible, is a good game with a good story overall but still, you need to love this type of "story" for like a game like this, both DLC are fantastic and probably a little bit better than the main game, I hope than Control 2 will be better than this one in term of story and maybe gameplay. I'm not going to do the PS5 Stack because I want to play other games.
Popular Post Thrillhelm
#2738 Crazy Chicken: Wanted (PS4) The standalone Western part of the Crazy Chicken shooter bundle, with its own list but not too different - and its an easy platinum thats enjoyable because its dumb fun. They messed up the Platinum icon which is the same as the Crazy Chicken game, lacking the cowboy chicken on the icon. A nice game, too expensive for 15 Euros, so wait for a discount.
Popular Post Juzota
#161 - Curse of the Dead Gods Abnegation Obtain all other trophies --- It's finally over... phew... Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this game. However the road to Platinum trophy is very grindy and tedious. The fact that you have to beat every elite enemy 50 times, every boss 10 times and final boss 5 times without getting damaged is bit too much. I don't mind no damage trophies in roguelike action games, but come on enough is enough. It took me about 93 hours to get the Platinum, but I have around 80 hours of experience on Xbox where I'm nowhere near finishing this game. And that's pretty much all the negative. I'm a big fan of roguelikes and this is definitely up there with my favorites. The combat feels really good in this game and the whole curse system is really nice. I'd love to see sequel for this, but little less grindy trophy list. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 8/10 --- That's it, my first Plat of the year. I wanted to have this at my first of 2023. Nice to have a new ultra rare (1.57%) Plat at the start of the year. Next something easier maybe...
