Popular Post blacklight-nero
#430 Amazing one of the most enjoyable puzzle games I’ve played for sure, Great puzzles, visually stunning and quite challenging some puzzles had me scratching my head in what in the hell I was supposed to do which in the end I had to look at the solution especially in the more open areas otherwise I’d be trying to figure it out for days, But surprisingly I did do quite a bit myself without a guide I say surprisingly because I may not be the greatest at puzzle games but I do enjoy playing them, The alternative pathways 2nd playthrough I used a video guide for the route obviously because it’s an insane route, I kept thinking who the hell was the first player to discover this couldn’t even imagine doing something like that blind crazy shit, overall fantastic game. #431The Forgotten City Great game really enjoyed it, I initially was just going to use a guide first playthrough and get an easy platinum out of the way in a few hours and be done with it, But decided to play blind first playthrough and 2nd and 3rd lol boy was that the right decision, Fascinating premise with an interesting story with twists and a nice bunch of characters with which you can have engaging conversations with and a cool time loop mechanic, Now I personally didn’t experience any technical issues with the game like I heard that the game suffered from so that’s good, The only thing I didn’t like about the game really was the long loading times and the combat was meh but other than that it was a fantastic game. Popular Post Trancexistence
#44 - The Bunker Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Total Game Time: 2 hours #45 - Late Shift Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Total Game Time: 3 hours #46 - The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Total Game Time: 8 hours #47 - The Shapeshifting Detective Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Total Game Time: 4 hours #48 - SIMULACRA Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Total Game Time: 9 hours #49 - The Complex Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Total Game Time: 3 hours I've been on a bit of a Wales Interactive FMV binge for the last two weeks so I thought I'd drop them all in one post. The Bunker was my favourite and it follows the daily routine of a man living in isolation in a fallout shelter following a nuclear war. I thought it was really good. SIMULACRA was a pleasant surprise as I expected it to be the weakest of these games but the story had me hooked and I found the mobile phone style interface pretty immersive. Late Shift and The Complex are very similar not in terms of their story, but in the way you're essentially watching movies but making choices that dictate what direction they take. Enjoyed them both. The Shapeshifting Detective was...odd...to put it mildly. You play a detective who (you guessed it) has the ability to shapeshift and the player is tasked with investigating a murder whilst impersonating all of the suspects one by one in an attempt to crack the case. The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker was my least favourite. The player assume the role of a psychiatrist attempting to solve the murder of his predecessor Doctor Dekker by questioning his former patients to try and piece together the details of his final days. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was typing questions out (and there are a lot of them) using the DualSense controller. It felt like a bit of a chore and you have to be careful with spelling or the questions sometimes don't register. I feel like this game could have benefitted from a companion app to enable typing on smart phones or tablets. Next Platinum: It's milestone time so I've chosen The Last of Us Part I.

Popular Post Juzota
#169 - Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Masters of the Multiverse Collect All Trophies I got this game bundled with my PS5 year ago but was too busy to play other games then. Finally gave this a solid chance and I'm glad I did because this game is pretty great. This is probably one of the prettiest games I've ever played, everything just looks so good and the gameplay feels perfect. There was only one time when I noticed some framerate drops in one of the arena fights, other than that it was a smooth sailing. I have only played this and the 2016 Ratchet & Clank game. Between those two I prefer Rift Apart with a huge margin. Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#644 - Sherlock Holmes Chapter One (PS5) A Solid Sherlock Holmes game. This time more open worldish, which worked pretty well. Some of the side cases ended up being a bit more interesting than the main plot though. The game looks pretty nice, but the way the investigation mode was implemented in the game wasn't really to my liking and the combat was kind of meh. Still enjoyable overall. Popular Post AKIRA28_
Dead Space (Remake). Got it a few days ago, my 84th platinum. Great game, the original was my third ever platinum so it was good to experience it again but with updated graphics and much more added. However I did personally enjoy the Impossible mode on the original more, as the permadeath feature on the remake seemed pointless with the cloud saves for ps plus. Still a great trophy list though! Currently working through Tchia, it's a fairly enjoyable game but I can tell the grind for 100% is going to sour the experience a bit. Edited March 26, 2023 by AKIRA28_ Checked my list and realised the original Dead Space was actually my third platinum, not second.

Popular Post Ceridane
Metal Gear Solid 3 #48 Difficulty 3/10 Time for platinum: 15 hours Enjoyment: 10/10 My personal favorite Metal Gear game and one of my all time favorites as well. Extremely easy platinum compared to its previous Metal Gear Solid 2 counterpart. I think the most difficult part is shooting the kerotan frogs in the last section of the game. Other than that everything is straightforward and pretty easy to obtain. Trophies and collectibles are fun and of course the story and soundtrack are the best part of the game.

Popular Post Moridin83
# 259 Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror And now we're on to the PSP Syphon Filter games. The story is basic spy melodrama from the early oughts, nothing special, nothing offensively bad. Average level length is much shorter, I guess to make things easier for the PSP? Largely similar experience to the PS1 titles, but one thing needs specific calling out, the controls. My god, PSP 3rd person shooters may be the most miserable thing in existence. Pick your poison, aiming with the face buttons, or moving with the face buttons. Either one is terrible, and the workaround was an early iteration of the snap to cover system. Do yourself a favor, and turn the difficulty down to easy ASAP. Thankfully, the trophies only require beating the game, so you can ignore getting the secrets, or hitting the target times. For free, I didn't hate it, but whoof, those controls man.
Popular Post PIOTREK27-1982
#126 Platinum Final Fantasy XIV (PS5) Fun: 9,5/10 [A Realm Reborn: 8,5/10 Heavensward: 10/10 Stormblood: 9/10 Shadowbringers: 10/10 Endwalker: 10/10] Time: 2621 hours (combined with PS4 version) Difficulty: Mind draining grind. Impossible to solo or offline, kupo. My 2nd FFXIV platinum is also the rarest FF platinum on the PSN currently sitting with 0,1% rarity. Can't remember when i got a plat so rare recently? All this because of grindy trophies, subscription bought for few months and at least +999 hours needed in game to actually reach latest content. I was prepared for all that beforehand. Just wanted to get another FFXIV plat because the first version doesn't include story related expansion trophies, and those expansions are best thing that happened to FF in last 15 last years, at least in story, characters and music departament that is. Was tired running in circles for last few months. When my buddy said i'll never finish FFXIV i decided to get my shit together. I really don't like having unfinished business. Bought a PS5 just for this monster and i highly doubt i'll see anything that can beat this. This is a basically a love letter for Final Fantasy fans who loved the series for many, many years. Best things from best FF games are mixed together here and number of FF references are astounding. On top of that FFXIV has probably few of the best expansions ever made with so much content that many full games fail in comparison. I recommend it to anyone tired with easy and fast plats.
