Gaming Sessions: Notification when new session for a particular game is created?

Hi,

 

sorry if this has been requested before. I've used the search function to find all threads related to sessions but couldn't find what I was looking for.

 

I'm curious if it's possible to implement a notification feature that lets me know about new sessions for certain games I would subscribe to?

Let's say I want to boost an old or obscure game but can't find people for my sessions. I'd subscribe to sessions for this game and as soon as somebody creates one I'd get notified automatically.

This is such a great idea, although i don't use boosting sessions a lot, it could be very useful.

Wouldn't this be solved if you made the session instead of waiting for someone else?

 

But yea, the suggestion is good, if you eventually want to boost a game and someone else already makes a session before you eventually would.

I also like the idea. I have a few games that people aren't regularly boosting, but that I'm not at yet in my backlog that I want to actively host a session.

Satoshi Oomaki is right, but I still like TC's Idea. I have some games here, esoecially on Vita, where online is no longer active. That'd be nice. I could keep on playing more active games until I get a notice tgat my more obscure game has a session comming up.

Like I said in my post, I've created sessions for different games and nobody joined them. That's why I thought this could be a nice little feature.

Plus - if this was a feature then all sessions would fill up faster and with the most dedicated boosters being the first to join.

Seems like a nice idea. Although my notifications reach a high number already, having more added to them would be kind of a mess

To add to this, I would like to see specific notification preferences if possible - like for example, choosing to be notified specifically for "Boosting Sessions" for "Game X" that specifically include "Trophy X".

Was going to make this suggestion, but thankfully it was linked in Mango's thread. Hopefully this can be added in the next update and we should be able to sign up for games I don't currently have a trophy list for.

In the meantime it's possible to check a game's trophy list for gaming sessions. They're displayed at the right side.
