Her mother... after leaving Airi, she was heartbroken and swam to return to Airi but she couldn't reach the house so she drown and got eaten by fishes. It started off well enough, but at the halfway point, it felt way too rushed, which ruined my enjoyment. I wish the series could get localized so I could actually enjoy it properly.
