Sorry for the awful banner....had to do something without troubling the artists :P

This is the first event i have ever created, please excuse any mistake i make ^_^


It's been almost 8 years since a Digimon World/Story/Squad game came to light beyond the holy Japanese lands, but Media.Vision and Bandai Namco brought hope upon all digimon fans with the latest installment, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, the fifth game in the "Story" series.

Cyber Sleuth has almost everything a Digimon fan would like in their game: RPG setting? check, Turn-based combat? check, dungeon exploration? check, Digi-Farms? check, tons of Digimon to capture, raise and Digivolve (TigressLion :awesome:)? check.


Join us in this event to conquer the Cyberspace and uncover the newest mystery in the Digital World.


Goals to Achieve:
Complete the game and/or obtain the Platinum trophy.

Rules:

  • Don't harm the Digital Monsters in your journey (unless they start the fight obviously =D), violation towards this rule will be considered a top-rank crime, i think. They are our friends.
  • If you see an opportunity to help your fellow Cyber Sleuth in this thread, do so if possible, we all want to enjoy this game together.
  • Mind the Spoilers, if you want to discuss any story-related or spoiler-ish things, please use the Spoiler tag (Done by navigating the "Special BBCode" and choosing "Spoiler").
  • Have fun =D.

So? what are you waiting for, post below if you would like to join, and i'll add you to the list of participants (either in the "participants" list or the "maybe" list) as soon as i see your post. Anyone can join, if you haven't earned a single trophy in the game, or you're a trophy away from the platinum, it doesn't matter! ^_^ (Note: please clarify if you're joining as a participant or as a "maybe", i might get confused)

Main Checkpoints and Titles:

Checkpoint 0 (Title: Digi-Egg) - Join the event, you only have to own the game to be a participant!

Checkpoint 1 (Title: Baby Cyber Sleuth) - Start the game, choose your main character, and get used to the cyberspace by earning the Reached Chapter 2 trophy!
Checkpoint 2 (Title: Nokia's Knight) - Have you grown accustomed yet? prove so by earning the Reached Chapter 6 trophy!
Checkpoint 3 (Title: Broadway's Usual) - Mr. Navit doubts in your skill to progress in this game, prove him wrong by earning the Reached Chapter 10 trophy!
Checkpoint 4 (Title: Kyoko's Assistant) - Expand your "Sleuth" skills by earning the Reached Chapter 15 trophy!
Checkpoint 5 (Title: Digimon's Friend) - Who will you see tomorrow? find out by earning the Reached the Ending trophy and complete the game!

Bonus Checkpoints and Titles (The checkpoints are the titles instead of numbers since this is not mandatory):

Medal Fanatic - Earned all 500 digimon medals and earned the Legendary Medal Collector trophy. "Do you have a life? -Gacha machine"
Next Door's Cyber Sleuth - Attained the maximum Sleuth rank and earned the Best Cyber Sleuth trophy. "We shall celebrate! I'll brew some of my unique aroma coffee right away, Tee Hee. -Kyoko"
[inseart your favorite Digimon's name here] ❤s You - Registered 200 Digimons in the Digimon Field Guide and earned the Digimon Professor trophy. "D-d-don't go all high and mighty on me just 'cuz you have more Digimon than i do.....r-right Agumon, Gabumon? -Nokia"
Cyber Champion - Won the Master cup AND won 30 colosseum battles, and unlocked both the Master Gamer and the Battle Master trophies. "Hooooray! Nyachuu... (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ -Oruru"
Memorable Tamer - Have done everything and unlocked the Platinum trophy. "Until next time..... -Yuugo"




You can start right away, or if you have already progressed in the game, continue from where you left it. Or you know , you can start whenever you want xD You're free to exchange information, help, favorite/helpful Digimon teams, etc.

I literally just finished this on the 7th and have it ready for Platinum Rain Day, I am willing offer advice though to anyone who may need help!

Good luck to everyone participating and have fun! Take your time playing this, who knows when the next game will be translated.

How do I join in this? I see this but I never the cool games when they appear. This is the 1st time I get a game just a month after it got in the (virtual) stores. But I'm in chapter 13. Do I need to start over? I'm a participant and I should have the checkpoint 3.

Since I don't have the game I can't say for certain, there are a few though, but I know LadyDevimon is in the game. Have you tried her?

You can check that in the Digimon Encyclopedia that he gave in the spoiler.

 

Lilamon and LadyDevimon can digivolve to Lilithmon.

 

To Lilamon digivolve to Lilithmon you need Lilamon to be on level 60, have 200 SP, 250 INT, 130 SPD and 80% ABI.

 

To LadyDevimon digivolve to Lilithmon you need LadyDevimon to be on level 60, have 200 SP, 250 INT, 130 SPD and 80% ABI.

Well, i'm busy with playing through the game right now. So i guess i'll sign up. Already finished the fame. Just need to mop up the remaining medals and some misc trophies.

I'll gladly join this!! I recently got the chapter 7 trophy, and for the little bonus my favorite digimon is Flamedramon

Sign me up as a 'maybe' please. Don't own the game yet but have been thinking of buying it for quite some time already.

I don`t have this, unfortunately. I REALLY want it though, but as a LONG time Digimon fan I just wanted to point out, Digimon don`t "evolve" they "Digivolve". I responded only to point that out xD

EDIT: to add to BrunoBomb's post, LadyDevimon can be gotten by digivolving a black gatomon, a black gatomon can be gotten from digivolving a Salamon.

Didn't thought of telling how to get those digimons as well. But is sure is helpful.

I'll join since I'm already playing through it... really slowly because of school stuff. I'm on Ch. 15 and have 200 digimon registered.

 

Awesome! added ^_^ but one thing: mind if you tell me your favorite digimon so i can add the special title next to your name? =)

That's a good team. Did you planned on having them or it just came to be that team? I was planning to have my team, but later I was "Bleh, screw this." How do I take a screen shot of the game?

 

PS: I'm on a PS Vita.

 

PSS: I reached chapter 15 so I should get to the next checkpoint!
