All I've been doing is just completing the same investigation over and over got it on either my 4th or 5th go at it. EDIT : My first Investigation gave me a mini crown for jagras , btw my very first one. For me its almost given now that Investigations have higher chance for Crowns. It was 6☆HR, 1 bronze 1 silver 1 gold, 30 minutes, 3 faints, and Flourishing Gathering Points. Good job on your first mini crown! Still abusing lizards for my 2nd one. Funny story , i was hunting great jagras for big gold crown in invastigations , and there was a stupid Bazelgeuse (like always in HR -.-) BUT i had the feeling it was way way bigger than normal , hard to say if you dont ave second one near to compare, but after a while you get little bit feeling of size. So i killed it , just to see if my feeling was right , ignoring the jagras for a while. It was gold crown bazelgeuse!!! . I'm hoping experience does like the other cap in the story and just accrues it until you clear the mission. I've been sitting on it for awhile. I can help you on the double bazlegeuse fight if you want , and yes exp still goes up. i jumped from 29 to 34 after clearing this mission. I catched both , 10% less fighting at the end . If the star level or monsters being tempered plays a role remains to be seen. I’d guess that the spawn rate for either type of gold crown is around 2-3%, maybe higher. I have to agree and it also seems that playing single player or offline might not effect it at all. A lot of posts on other sites are saying they are getting them on both offline and online. Yeah after 53 Jagras I'll just go into a mission and know that they are way too big, I haven't seen very many small tbh, maybe about 2 that could've been small enough including the 1009 one. I beat the HR29 mission btw I finished upgrading my armor after I got the gold and am sitting around 400 something defense right now, so it helped a lot. I have this really silly idea of taking the screenshot, checking the size with paper ruler and abandoning the mission if it's too close to default size.
