Psy-Tychist Posted October 11, 2023 Share Posted October 11, 2023 Back again with my first completion from my backlog in October: Light Fairytale: Episode 1 All 29 Trophies 9th October 2023 • Platinum in 1 year, 7 months After leaving it unfinished and getting annoyed with a simple damage trophy not unlocking I came back and found a cheesy method and then speedrun the last part of the story to get another completion under my belt. If you're asking if the other games can count, no. Completions can count from the month you joined the event (May 2023). White Night All 34 Trophies 13th October 2023 • Platinum in 3 years, 6 months Finally went back to this game and finished up the last trophy. I got lucky though, I tried tricking the game into thinking I had finished the game in one night by changing the clock on my PS4. It worked and the trophy popped in the credits and confused the hell out of my PS4 as the Plat didn't pop for about 90 seconds after I got the trophy. Close to the Sun All 30 Trophies 21st October 2023 • Platinum in 3 years, 4 months Whipseey and the Lost Atlas All 22 Trophies 22nd October 2023 • Platinum in 2 years, 6 months Finally got through the Flawless run of Close to the Sun after save scumming a little. Acctually only died 4 times so it wasn't that bad. Enjoyed the game, less the multiple playthroughs. Whipseey got under my skin. It's a cute and simple platformer with a boss at the end of the levels, a la Kirby. However, the part that got me was having to memorise the bosses patterns and not take damage at all. The kicker was, if you took damage you couldn't lose a life and try again; you had to complete the whole level (doesn't matter if you get damaged in the level) and beat the boss without being hit for it to count. I finally got it after not sleeping one night, clearing the last boss at nearly 5am. I finally got back to it this month and enjoyed it so much that I only played this until I got the platinum. JayDeLosDioses Posted November 2, 2023 Share Posted November 2, 2023 Do you guys remember when I joked about completing AC: Valhalla 3 years in a row for this challenge with all the spaced out DLC being released and such. After getting the plat in 2021, 100% in 2022 I'm considering doing the 100% PS4 version until the end of the year. I've already started a little bit to be honest, mostly because I needed disc-space for Spider-Man 2, which meant I had to complete Mirage early, which meant I had nothing to play for 3 days. So I booted up Valhalla, played the prologue and collected nearly every fast travel point in England. Which was kinda fun, doing little bits here and there, some world events, playing the dice game, having epic rap battles... The main reason Valhalla was such a pain in the end was all the collecting, but if you just do a little bit it's somewhat fine. And I also wanted to use my mapgenie.io subscribtion again, and Valhalla has an interactive map there... kinda useless since everything is marked on the ingame map, but I like clicking away dots on the side. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
