I heard right before development of King of Fighters 14, SNK was bought up by a Chinese company. The direction shows. What a stark contrast between kof 13 and 14 and now this. The character models are atrocious. What is all that shit coming out of each strike thrown? Cupcakes, rainbows and stars? Are you fucking kidding?! SNK has definitely left their golden years in the 90s. Here's a video of some gameplay so I don't have to be the only person cringing here. Burgins Posted June 20, 2018 Share Posted June 20, 2018 SNK Gal Fighters came out in 2000 and they've made dozens of mobile games to cash-in on their female cast, too. This isn't a new company's fault, SNK has always done these types of games every so often. I'm not gonna say SNK never made a good game........ but I will say that I've played better games from better companies, not matter the genre they attempted. Regardless, if it's a negative for this game it's a negative for XIV too even if it does "look better" in the end it still looks bad by modern standards. So I don't see a reason to single this game out for "bad graphics" and not XIV as well. edit; just noticed the title of the video says "PS4 Gameplay (Switch)" what a weird way to do the title. I assume they wanted to indicate the game was coming to Switch in the title, but that's not a good way to do it. This game's selling point is dressing up and watching the waifus so it would work much better as a dating sim/visual novel kind of deal like DoA X3. Still, wasn't for those 3 extremelly easy online trophies I would have given it a go. Also to those saying there's a guy likely, he'll be cross dressing or gender bent.... In which case why wasn't alice then used? Well, whatever Its a pass anyway.
