Server Shutdown Announced July 25th, 2019

I try to 100% all my games, and since closing the servers could make the completion of some games impossible, I always live with a constant fear of not completing them. I wonder if I could favourite https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/legal/gameservers/ and keep checking which game servers are going to close and complete them before the closure. Do Sony posts all the shutdown announcements there?

That's a lot of Ultra Rare trophies! 1f62e.pngTempted to start. Also heard it's easy but grindy and most of it can be done with bots too (true?). But do I actually need a second player to start matches?

You don't need a second player to start any matches but you will need to boost quite a lot of the medals.

No Sony doesn't post shutdowns for all the games. They only post about games that are specifically licensed or made by Sony. Here is a thread about all upcoming server shutdowns:

That's exactly what I was looking for. I don't frequent the forum too much so I didn't know the existence of such post. Thank you!

Well, I was thinking about starting it and going for the plat, but I don’t know if July will be enough time to get the platinum for the amount I play. I love VR but it unfortunately makes me really motion sick, so I can’t play more than an hour at a time a couple times a week.

Best of of luck to anyone going for it! There’s plenty of time, it’s just super grindy!

I got the VR a couple days ago. And i am looking forward to knock out Starblood Arena ASAP. Does anyone know what trophies you exactly need to boost, and witch trophies you can afk/do against bots?

You'll want 1-2 partners for:

Bug Stomper :bronze: and Nuke 'em from Orbit :silver: (the co-op survival mode). You'll also need them for Selfless :bronze: since this trophy requires 3 players and is virtually impossible against AI.

You should absolutely do the Burn circuits before tackling the boost. The reason is: you'll get a lot of the medals naturally against AI in these. I got the 15 killstreak for Pale Horseman :silver: several times in this mode, as well as numerous Conqueror medals for StarBlood Champion :silver: . You'll also get a few others here and there.

You'll need to boost the following medals: Early Bird, Blocker, Top Shot, Goalie, Shield, Specialist (some you may get legit from characters with overpowered specials like Tik Tak Toh), Survivor, Pyrotechnic, and Brawler. All of them can be done 1v1 except Shield medals.

Feel free to message me on here if you need any advice with anything. I'll do my best.

I have read many contradictions in the trophies of playing 25 ranked. It's play 25 ranked matches or WIN 25 ranked matches with each character?

It's for playing 25 matches, you don't need to win. The confusion comes from the fact that the in-game stats counts burn circuits as ranked matches but they don't count towards the trophies for playing 25 matches. I've been unlocking the 25 matches trophies by "idling" (doing nothing but pressing X so I don't get kicked).

No problem. As Pyramat has said: it is definitely PLAY, for the exact reason he stated.

Any tips for the 15 ranked deathmatch wins trophy? Winning bot usually manages around 20 kills in 5 minutes and I just can't get that high in such a short time-frame!

You will eventually get pretty good playing the game against bots. I felt the same way as you when I first started. I didn't know how I was going to win against the bots when they get 20 kills. Eventually you will be able to get 20-30 kills by yourself in one match. The best pilot for me was the female cyborg (with the shield over her face) I forgot her name. Her secondary weapon is a combo of 3 lasers that do a lot of damage. Switch to lasers when your primary weapon is low. You will become a pro at switching between primary, secondary and heavy weapons. Just spam mines. Always spam mines when you are moving away from the fight. Get the best boosters like nano armor and fast recharging missles. It's also best if you play defensive and pick off the pilots that just got out of a dogfight. They will be low health and most of the time they will be facing away from you. So when you hit them, they won't have time to react. You also want to spam missiles when you are locked on them.

The key to winning in managing your weapons and playing defensively.  I hope that helps.

Edit: Another good booster for your mines is the seeker. I think it's called seeker. It moves your mines faster towards the enemies.

Thanks I'm going to give these a try. Do you have to activate the boosters in the middle of the match, or is it just automatic?

Any tips for Football? Im so far from winning.

Just sprint to the ball pushing down L3, then go towards the goal and score. If you're getting fired at by bots, you can shoot the ball as close to the goal as possible, and go back to it after the respawn. I found Gridiron to be the most simple mode to master, as the AI is just stupid. Deathmatch wins and getting the most kills out of any player is proving the most difficult thing to do by some distance. I'm using the method provided by Testosterone, and I've managed to win a few games but that was only by luck, and it's still proving to be a massive struggle. God help me when I attempt the ultimate burn circuit...
One more thing, anyone thinking of starting this trophy list further down the line I would advise you not to do so. Just because it shuts down on July 25th, don't rest on your laurels and get started with this game ASAP - if the difficulty isn't an issue then the massive grind will be, and time is not on your side.
